I own a 2019 CTS and have been having transmission issues that need to be looked at. I called this dealership and asked to make an appointment to get it looked at (under warranty). The lady on the phone asked me if I wanted to wait or if I needed a ride home. I have had my car here before and got a loaner car while my car was getting fixed, but apparently now this luxury car dealership doesn’t provide their customers with this service. She did say that I could possibly get a loaner car if I wanted to wait until the end of next month, but that’s rediculous. I’ll be taking my vehicle out of town to get fixed to a dealership that respects and values me as a customer.

Supply and Demand … buyer beware!The fact that this dealership is attempting to charge 10% over msrp is them taking advantage of current market conditions plus made me question integrity and profitability …was able to deal with other more ethical dealerships. Given what they want to over charge for new vehicles, I can’t imagine how much over market they would charge for service.

This is an outstanding dealership! I just had routine service (oil change & A/C system “clean-up” for musty vent odor) done on my 2019 XT5.The service tech also suggested new wiper blades and a treatment to increase fuel efficiency.Everything took less than 90 min.!Their waiting area is clean and comfy and they have a large assortment of beverages & snacks to make the wait more pleasant.

I highly recommend Sunset Cadillac of Bradenton. Kraig Knight is not a high pressure salesperson. He was respectful, knowledgable and answered my questions truthfully and completely. When I decided on the car, he went over every control, demonstrated how to use them and made sure all systems (OnStar, MyCadillac app) were registed and functioning. Went to sunset Cadillac service department with our 2016 Cadillac SRX with headlight problems, and had CHAD CHUPKA ( assistant service manager ) help us through the entire process.He worked with our company that covers our warranty. Chad made this entire process very easy for us, he was very informative at every step of the process. Chad got our vehicle in very Efficiently, and changed out both entire headlight assemblies in record time, and had us out of there pretty quick.Keep up the awesome work Chad, it was most definitely a pleasure working with you.

Bad experience, I have been wait for my car almost 2 months, and in the moment nothing with them, bad,bad, bad experience.

I bought a car that I wasnt happy with, I called the dealership and told them the salesman that I didnt like this car and didnt want to keep it. The salesman had me speak to a manager, I ended up speaking with to the sales manager, John. John was great, he found me a car that I love and was extremely helpful throughout the whole process. He contacted me immediately when the car I was waiting for arrived and showed me a few different ones so I could pick the right car for me. He had everything ready to go so I wouldnt have any questions or to wait on anything and I was able to leave with my new car that same day.

I recently purchased a used KIA Sorento and I could not be happier with the value and features of the car. However, it was the customer service that really blew me away. Stay away from the repair side of this establishment. My aunt just had complete brake work done on her Cadillac, front pads/rotors and rear pads/rotors. She brought her car to the service shop here at Sunset for something small and they told her she needed A COMPLETE BRAKE JOB one month after getting them done. She went alone so I assume they tried to fully take advantage of that fact. I dont know how one can sleep at night straight up lying to customers like this to financially benefit themselves. They do this to people a lot unfortunately. I have ALWAYS heard that dealerships rip people off and I am still shocked that this happened to her. Telling people they need completely unnecessary, expensive, car repairs done without even asking them to check the brakes is beyond me. God will get ya for this one sir! God Bless

Absolutely outstanding top notch service by Mike and the whole team! We called at 4pm about a used vehicle, they told us it was there and to come on down. We informed them we couldn’t be there until 5 and knowing they close at 6 they still told us to come down. No pressure, no shady sales tactics, no ridiculous extra fees on the back side of the deal. They were genuine helped us through the process, got us an outstanding interest rate and stayed an hour passed closing time to get taken care of. If you’re in the market for a Cadillac or a used vehicle stop here first! I’ve purchased many new and used cars from dealerships in my life and this was hands down the absolute best car buying experience I’ve ever had!!!

I hate to do this but I would hate it more if someone else were to get taken advantage of. Please stay away from the auto mechanic shop at this location. In what world would you charge someone over $5,000 worth of auto repair work on a vehicle worth less than that. They take advantage of people daily, I dont know how they justify the amount of unnecessary repairs they tell people they need.

I chose a 2015 Rm and put a deposited down. It was in the Dodge shop in Sarasota waiting on a part for a recall. It took over a week. Finally brought back to Bradenton and next day a full detail. Ron was great a d sending me pictures a d progress and we scheduled the pickup next day. I started down from St Pete and Ron called and said a light on the dash had come on so it went back to Sarasota to the dodge dealer. Once again over a week waiting on a part. Week later brought back to Bradenton. As the story goes, headed to detail another light and a very long Scratch along the door. At that time I decided not to move forward with the deal. Id had enough.

Was there on back to back days to have both my cars serviced. Jennifer in service was just awesome. Services were completed in a timely manner. They even washed the car when they completed the service. I will definitely be back.

Bought 2 vehicles in one year, you would thing honesty and integrity would apply. My second car I traded in and was told it was going to be paid off completely as part of the deal. 4 months after. I get a notice from the finance company saying there was still $300 and change still due. Contacted Michael my sales rep and said their working on it. Been 2 months later. I paid it so I would not have late fees or mark on my credit and have been waiting for reimbursement. Sunset did mail a check and made good on their word.

Always have my oil changed here for 2 very important reasons:First...Im able to have a loaner car, so I dont have to wait around in the dealership. I can do what I need to do while they have plenty of time to work on my car. And if something takes longer than expected, I still have a car to drive for the next day or so until mine is ready. Thats very reassuring!Second...Kristie has been my service adviser for the entire 6 years Ive owned my SRX and I cant say enough good things about her! Shes very knowledgeable as well as extremely personable, and I trust her! I look forward to talking with her each time I bring my car in for service.

I took my car into services for some misfiring. Had them check it out and they assured me that it was because of my engine coils, and spark plugs. Asked for $1200 to replace 2 bad coils and spark plugs! Complete rip off. I told them I’ll get estimates for this service elsewhere. Now I’m no car expert, so at the time I didn’t know what coils were. I did some research and found out they were sitting right over my spark plugs. Looked on YouTube on how to switch them out and did it myself. My spark plugs were already switched out not too long ago so I left them alone. Bought 6 brand new coils from auto zone for $200 and replaced them, and now my car is PERFECTLY FINE. It took me no more than 30minutes to do it. And they wanted 1200 freaking dollars for that! I was really aggravated just thinking on how they tried to swindle me. I won’t ever be going there again.The people are nice though.

Very dissatisfied with the customer service at this Cadillac location. Initially walked in with no greeting from secretary and then when finally acknowledged I was told by Chad about rental car contract clause while standing in the lobby. The lack of professionalism is unacceptable andwhen I spoke with the general manager theCustomer service was just as bad and my issue did not get resolved. This Cadillac location needs a refresher on the laws of emotional support dogs and a seminar on customer service. I feel very disrespected and would advise against getting any service at sunset Cadillac; my family and i have traveled internationally and have never received this amount of disrespect.

Mark was very high pressured. Called me three times in one hour leaving long winded voice mails.Asked for my deposit back as Mark was so high pressured & he refused. I then called the finance manager & he also refused. Of course my credit card company is taking care of it. You cant keep a deposit for goods never received... kind of basic but either Mark nor the finance manager seemed a bit concerned. Dont waste your time --- this dealership cannot be trusted. Once I told them I found another car... it was blatantly obvious they wouldnt return my deposit.

I am a first time owner of a Cadillac Escalade and a new customer of Tropical Cadillac. My experience with this dealership has been exceptional, In that, the service dept and body shop personnel have been such a pleasure to deal with. I really love the communication between myself and (Kristi Pentecost) my service advisor each time I have had my vehicle serviced.I recently had to utilize the body shop to have my vehicle hood and top repainted due to a cracking clear coat. My service advisor (Tom Gillespie) took exceptional care of my concerns with this matter. This dealership has definitely satisfied my needs with regards to trustworthy service.I do need to say that I am very, no, extremely unhappy with GM, in that, they should have covered the cost to have my vehicle repainted since a 2015 Cadillac Escalade sould NOT have had this kind of issue. GM should have stood behind there vehicles paint.
