I recently took my car in after I was involved in a car crash. My car needed a lot of work to be done in order for it to be driven again. It almost was totaled, so I needed a body shop that would get the job done and I was told that Firkins would do a great job. After picking up my car once it was finished I couldnt even tell if it had been in an accident, they did a tremendous job! Id recommend them to anyone in need of some work on their car.

Where do I even start? I have used Firkins Collision Center on multiple occasions for myself, my family, and for business. You won’t find a better group of people to work with! I love working with Mike Davidson...he knows his stuff and most importantly he makes you feel like you’re a priority. If you need collision work that’s the highest quality then look no further!

It’s never a good time to be in an accident, but adding being new to the area is only more stressful to not have a body shop on hand. My only experience with Firkins was routine oil change and Maintainence, so when the unfortunate time came we knew to stick with what we knew and take it to Firkins. Even though Extreme Purple is a factory color, it’s not always the easiest paint color to match (speaking from experience). A little hesitant to pick the Jeep up at the promised pickup date, all worries were quickly swept aside as a thorough inspection before leaving left no worries of doubt of flawless work! Great customer service, timely work and good communication has lead us to use the collision center for more than the Jeep! Great work, Mike and team!

My name is Sherina Gamble and I would just like to say that From the moment I walked into the place I was greeted with a warm smile by the manager which made me feel very comfortable most places you go and the employees are very off putting and make you feel uncomfortable but not at Firkins! I brought my 2015 Nissan Altima in for some body repair after an accident and these guys made my car look BRAND NEW again I could never tell by going over their work that there was ANY damage the body shop others can not compare I say this with confidence because at Firkins they check and fix EVERYTHING they don’t just “mask”. The problem they checked my vehicle for underlying problems and found a few due to the accident and FIXED THIS AS WELL something most body shops will not take the time to do! They are very friendly and Very professional I HIGHLY recommend anyone looking to get body work done or mechanical to give these guys a try their prices are fair and they reflect the amazing job they do thank you Firkins for being so welcoming and bringing my car back to showroom looking condition

Normaly Im not much of a review writer. Face it we all get busy and forget sometimes about the great experiences we have with our local businesses. However, this time I needed to make it a point to explain how fantastic the staff at Firkens Collison department as well Firken service department are. After damages from an accident put my 2018 Ram 2500 in the repair shop they were attentive, timely and had great communication. From helping with my rental vehicle to coordinating repair with the service department my experience was five star. Mike the Collision Center Manager went far out of his way to make my experience more than excellent. When I picked up my truck it looked good as new. Thank you again everyone at Firkens, you have my business for years to come!

Mike Davidson, Collision Center Manager, provided excellent customer service. He provided a quick initial quote with a caveat that the quote could be higher after the bumper was removed. He was very responsive communicating a change in the quote with specifics/pictures justifying the change. The repairs were completed within a day as committed and we were very pleased with our repaired jeep that was detailed inside and outside. Highly recommend Firkins Collision Center.

We came in for a scheduled AC charge with the new Freon R-1234yf.  The quote over the phone was $340 and I confirmed at the morning drop off with Derek, the service rep. We asked how long the appointment would take and Derek advised it would be two hours but that he would call me when it was ready.  Four hours passed and no call was received.  I tried to call to get an update but the phone number was disconnected...every phone number: sales, parts and all the managers phones were not in service.  So I emailed the managers and Derek.  Six hours after drop off the phone bill is now paid, and phone lines are now working. Derek advised the car was ready hours ago. I guess he didn’t feel like calling. You would think a business would be smart to use one of the cell phones you see them all spending so much time on to call customers. Not the case at Firkins.  I had to take an hour off of work to come pick up the car and then was handed a bill for $400.  When I asked questions about the delay and the higher price Derek was rude and condescending.Upon leaving the dealership I turn on the AC and it’s not blowing cold! I immediately contacted the service rep Derek and he said, “everything is perfect to specifications” and he advised he could not fix the issue.  After a long-winded talk he agreed to bring the car back in to try and fix the problem that they didn’t fix to begin with, but this time with a small wait. The next day, Derek says all the work was done perfectly and does not have time to fix the problem. After another long discussion he agreed to have the service techs retest their work.  Wife and baby had to wait another 4 hours only to find the service techs did not fill the Freon as Derek stated they did. With no evidence Derek claims that the the ac has a leak and that we would be charged another $169.00 plus the additional cost to replace the Freon.  When I asked to speak with the service tech who “fixed” the car to check if he performed the service vaccum test, (common practice prior to adding Freon), Derek got bent out of shape and said the tech is not available.  He then advised that this testing was not completed! It seems like Firkins hires their help from the Cheesecake factory with little to no knowledge of industry standard vehicle service.  Upon asking to speak with the service manager, Derek says in his condescending tone, “Ill have Dave call you so you can tell him how smart you are” and then abruptly hangs up. Dave the service manager, chose to take a more professional approach.  I asked him to explain how any service tech would fill R1234yf Freon into a leaking system.  He had the service techs look into it and they could not find this alleged leak that Derek spoke of and filled the AC to the appropriate pressure.  He said to return if there is any issues with AC again.Simply put, it was an easy fix that Derek made difficult with trying to price gouge.I was blown away on the rudeness, lack of interest to help resolve the issue and the lack of auto knowledge of the service rep.  I’m surprised the dealership phone lines go down and no one picks up the phone for hours.  A max 2 hour job shouldn’t take 2 days and 10 hours time.  Steer clear of this dealership. A better option may be St.Pete or Sarasota.

What a great experience. I dropped my car off and was in a rental car quickly. They contacted my insurance company and coordinated everything. When there was an issue with a non OEM part being the choice of the insurance company, the body shop manager called me and let me know. He told me how he was going to handle it and let me know that I might need to get involved with the insurance company to demand an OEM part. He told me he would not put the non OEM part (bumper cover) on my car because the quality was horrible. I never had to get involved. He got it all handled with my insurance company. I was back in my car within 2 weeks from the time I dropped it off. I am pleased with the quality of work, communication, and service. I would gladly recommend this body shop.

I was in a terrible accident and the person that rear ended me used GAINSCO. I had heard horror stories about this company. However I took my truck into Firkens to get repaired and Mark Johnson was amazing! He kept me informed during the entire process even getting my vehicle service and some recalls taken care. I was not even aware of these recalls. This is the absolute gold standard when it comes to customer service. Mark went above and beyond. He was also able to deal with GAINSCO and I barely even spoke to them. The type of employee needs to be rewarded as customer focus should always be number one! Thank you Mark!

On a rainy day I backed my truck into a palm tree that I just didnt see, it was quite a bit of damage to the tailgate and the bumper, I drove it to the Collision Center and I spoke with Brian, he gave me a fair estimate I gave him the okay to go ahead and do the work, when I got the truck back you would never know that I had smashed into a palm tree, the paint matched and everything was lined up perfectly, when it was all said and done the cost of the repair was less money than the discount body shop down the street called Carsmetics.
