A truly hidden gem of Bowling Green. At first glance the building looks like your typical liquor store, and though they do sell that, they also have a full fledged Greek takeout restaurant. They serve a variety of Greek dishes as well as give huge portions for an extremely low price! I try to eat there at least monthly, and am sad that after I graduate soon I will be to far away to come back regularly. If you live in BG or are stopping through this is a must place stop to eat at!

My husband and I love this place! Their food is out of this world,and their burgers are HUGE! If you havent gotten takeout from there, I do not know what you are doing with your life. Love the employees as well, so friendly!!

Food was good BUT I had to wait OVER an hour and 20 minutes and 2 phone calls and still didn’t show up to the right address!Wouldn’t recommend delivery unless you want to wait hours just to get nearly cold food And then tell you it’s gonna be 20 minutes when you call and it’s been over 45 you call again and they basically told you the same thing Basically not telling you what’s going on with your food I used to order all the time here and now I don’t want to order because I don’t want to wait over an hour and a half for food delivery When I literally can go to a restaurant sit down and eat in last time than that

Very easily the best value and some of the best food in town. Its always been that way. SS6 is BGs #1 hidden gem and an absolute must-try.Update: Couldnt resist ordering from here again. My wife got something I had never tried (and never even heard of). It was the most food Ive ever seen in my life and was incredibly tasty. Cant say enough good things about SS6.

Amazing restaurant ran by wonderful people. Incredible food and fantastic portion sizes (especially considering the price!) all around a fantastic value and a definite treasured staple whenever I’m in bowling green. Gyros, chicken and the other hot food is great and the to go options for salad and falafel are also a great meal/snack in a hurry. Don’t even get me started on their awesome drink selection but they’ve got soft drinks and various imported beers

My wife and I stopped in for some carryout on the recommendation of a friend on our way to Lake Erie. We were a little dubious based on the name, but boy were we wrong. Portions were absurdly generous for the price. Gyro meat was on the salty side, but their chicken is fantastic. Highly recommend the fries which were crispy and nicely spiced. They have an excellent selection of beer and soft drinks.Black Swamp Preserve is a short drive away with covered picnic tables, open restrooms and beautiful hiking trails.

After researching best gyro in the Toledo area, this place popped up. After looking at some of the reviews we had to go check it out. Don’t be fooled by the exterior! The meal did not disappoint. The portions are huge, fresh and absolutely delicious! To top it off the staff was super friendly. I give it a 5 star! Will be back for more.

Not once have they gotten my order right. Also, nothing on their website is made they way it is described. Unless you truly do not care what you eat, avoid this place.

So came by south side 6 when I was passing through bowling green and I decided to stop. And yessss was it worth it. For one the staff super friendly letting me try their delicious shawarma and gyro sauce with freshly fried pita chips. The hummus is some of the best hummus I have had in along time. If you are in town and want some good authentic Mediterranean dishes check them out yourselves. They have way more!!! Thanks again south side 6 for a wonderful experience!

I have to say it was like a spiritual experience and I feel like Im one with the Force and my 3rd eye has been awoken! They have the kindest staff in any service! I will drive 30 minutes in the middle of the apocalypse for their food! Love you 3000! The funny part is Im only slightly exaggerating their food is incredible!

How to write a review for this place... lets start with the sheer size of the burger, you see it and your already shocked, then you take the first bite and your hooked! I bought the pita chips at $8 for a little carton. The small hummus at $8-9 was not justifiable to spend almost $20 on chips. Their chips are great but I consider them a once a year treat.

Made a special trip to BG just to get food from here.Sign on door says no mask no service but a man (I believe the owner but I might be wrong) was standing behind the counter maskless.Grape leaves here are fantastic but not worth getting covid. I went back to my car and left.

This was my first time visiting and it was an amazing experience!! First of all the people that work here are so amazing. They happily answered every question I had! I cannot explain how good the food is. I was a little nervous because I do not often step outside my comfort zone, but I tried their gyro and falafel and they were both amazing!! Not to mention that they have possibly the best fries that I have ever had!! Prices are such a great value, they give you a ton of food!! Cannot reccomend this place enough!! I’ve loved SS6 since I moved here a couple years ago and always ordered the gyro but I recently tried their chicken shawarma (my first time having the dish!) and I have a new obsession! There’s no place in town to get better friendlier service and as much delicious food for the price.

Simply one of the best places in Bowling Green. The owning family is kind and friendly. Their food speaks volumes. They are incredibly skilled in their craft, I take any chance I can to grab a gyro from South Side 6. Also a nice alcohol and liquor selection if youre looking.Another absolute must-try in Bowling Green, but this one will forever be #1 on my list!

Eat here everytime im in town. Seriously. The burger is twice the size of a double whopper, and four times better. My girlfriend is Lebanese, she has never had hummus this good. And try a grape leaf. Its good for you.

I just adore the entire staff! So kind and welcoming to my family and I, and have been for years on end. Consistently delicious hot meals whether picked up or delivered. Amazing selection in the coolers, too. Love that they carry my Canadian bottled waters in unique flavors, and a nice array of snack food. Some items are a bit pricey on the snack stands, but I love always have coupons in my mailbox and deals going on for hot meals! Always will love the food! Hands down best Gyros, in the world.

Best burgers in town and really good Frys if youre going to place an order I would call about 10 minutes early. Then you should be able to stop and pay and leave. They have a lot of other good stuff for good prices pop beer. I think they even sell cigars

Worst Chicken Gyro i have ever had. First time ever visiting ordered meals for the family all chicken gyros and threw them all out when i got home and ordered pizza. Worst money ever spent. No flavor and dryer then jerky. When called they said chicken was fresh Rotisserie, but it must have been sitting under a heat lamp all day then. They did offer to replace but dont really think i want to give it a another chance.
