I walked in 15 minutes before close and I was completely welcomed to order cookies even though the oven had just been a shut off. Without hesitation I was still waited on and the oven was turned back on for my order. I apologized for walking in so close to close but I was reassured it was no problem. Very kind employees with the utmost customer service. The cookie jar has all of that on top of their amazing cookies!

03/18/21: CALL BEFORE ORDERING ONLINE. I didnt and just ordered online. Called after 1.5 hours. No response. I went to the store and it was closed. It shows that my card was charged, so now I have the pleasure of making sure it is reversed tomorrow.UPDATE: 03/19/21: I called the store around 4:30 today and spoke with Kylie. She turned this review from a 1 star rating to a 5 star rating. She apologized immediately and called her manager to sort this out. She called back right away and mentioned that my money was refunded and offered to make the order for free. I didnt need the cookies (Tell my behind!), but the immediate and swift action by Kylie will leave me singing into the sky and screaming of joy to the wind. It is people like Kylie that deserve to be hoisted into the air by society and cheered, while the scribbling of quills is heard by the nearest bard creating a ballad for her. In all seriousness, she surprised me with how quickly an annoying situation could become a great one. Please keep it up, and pay Kylie what she deserves (More).

Such an adorable shop! Its a tiny place, covered in cookie jars. The employees were super friendly and helpful. They offered samples of their usual cookies, which were all delicious. This cookie shop wasnt focused on filling their cookies with candy or extras the way some cookie shops do, this place is all about the cookie itself. You can absolutely tell that the dough is handmade and fresh, and not shipped in frozen. That, and they were baked with a perfectly good center and crisp edges, just as a cookie should be. This place was awesome.

Tucked away in Historic Downtown Bowling Green Ohio is The Cookie Jar. A tiny vintage building just down the street from the Wood County Court House. This micro Bakery in a visual and taste delight. The seating area is adorned in vintage ceramic cookie jars. The counter area is a converted house shutter. And a large chalk board Cover with the daily cookie menu. Puzzles, childrens book and college newspaper for seating entertainment makes this visit a unique and interesting stop. Now for the tasteful part, i stopped in on Super bowl sunday so I Indulged in a superbowl cookie. They have a cookie of the day as well as a standard cookie menu.

Ordered overpriced cookies... Waited two hours and no cookies arrived. Called and they said they forgot to accept the order but they could send them out and some extras and theyd be delivered in half an hour. I appreciate the offer but I was not interested in waiting 2.5 hours (it was almost 10pm) for cookies that cost too much anyways. Guess well stick with Insomnia.

This cookie shop was cozy and decorated in the theme of the restaurants name. If you guessed more cookie jars than you could count the you would be correct. Being set up to be like a show kitchen you could see their cookies being made and prepared fresh right in front of you. What ultimately allowed me to give this a five star rating would have to go straight to the staff. They were very nice, friendly, and more than willing to help out my friend and I when it came to informing us as to what kind of cookies they had. BTW, THEY HAVE COOKIES AND CREAM AS ONE OF THEIR COOKIES!

The Cookie Jar is expensive but totally worth it for special occasions. Freshly baked, warm, soft and melts in your mouth. One cookie is like a meal so savor the flavor slowly or you will gain weight in a hurry. I got a order of like 24 cookies on Valentines day from my mom one year and my dorm room smelled like heaven. Had to lock them up and hide them from my roommate, lol.

Im not sure how anyone could rate this place less than 5 stars unless they ran out of your favorite cookie of the day. And thats your fault for not getting cookies earlier.Anyways, prices are awesome for homemade cookies. The chocolate chip and snickerdoodle can be had at all times and theyre awesome. The birthday cake and apple crumb pie cookies are great when they have them.On top of this, theyll deliver to you warm cookies! Best cookies around and Im not sure how they havent run their competitor out of business yet.

Great cookies most of the time... They are huge, although somewhat inconsistent. Ive been about 4 times and once they were quite underdone and another time they were a little overdone. The rest of the time, amazing! Also quite expensive and the service isnt usually great.

I ordered from this local business on 2/14/2019 at 5:30 for a half dozen of their valentines day special cookies. They took my payment over the phone by writing down my card details with pen and paper, I paid the delivery tip in advance, and I was told they would be delivered in 40-50 minutes. Cool, no problem. 6:30 rolls around and I figured they are busy Ill give it til 7PM. I call at 7PM and their excuse verbatim was We all took breaks because we were busy and then we got behind. I found this unacceptable as if they knew they were running this late they could have given a courtesy call. I explained I do not live in town and that I needed them delivered to the university for me and the intended recipients. I said just have them at the university by 8:45 and all would be well. I call them at 9:00 and they said they took breaks again. This is unacceptable if you have orders out for delivery sitting on the counter that is dying product. Ive told this story to all my friend and they all have said the same thing Cookie jars employees dont care about the business and its going down hill. This was my second time ordering from this establishment and will not be returning. Their half apologizes and them being reluctant to refunding the order with attempts to persuade me to let them just deliver to your apartment later was ridiculous and unprofessional. I will not be ordering from or recommending this place in the future.
