My cake was awesome!

I have used Cake BG for many cakes, birthday cakes, baby showers etc. I have always been pleased with the flavor and quality. I recently ordered a cake for an event, that I needed to pick up at a certain time. I ordered the cake about 2 weeks or more ahead of time and told them when I would pick it up. When I went to pick the cake up, they told me it would not be ready for another hour. I told them that was not acceptable because I needed it for an event that was going to be sooner than an hour. They worked to get the cake done and they got it to me in time for the event. This could have turned out worse. I was pleased with the flavor and the cake, but disappointed it was not ready when I went to pick it up.

Ordered a birthday cake for my dog. Owner said it would be ready at 9 am but when I got there she told me it would be at least 2 hours before she could get it done. Hadn’t even started on it yet. I guess my dog is not that important. I walked out and told her to forget it that 2 hours was too late. The place was a pig sty so I’m now glad I didn’t feed my dog anything from that place, it was so dirty.

This place is awesome. Can make almost anything you want! And not only does it look great but it tasts even better! Great for any kind of event!

The atmosphere is rather homey with a certain eclectic feel. Typical Cafe style fare consisting of soup, salad, & sandwiches but very well made. The Reuben in particular I found to be delightful. The sauerkraut was not too salty nor bland, a step above what is found in several other places around town, and the variety of dessert options makes a nice end to a wonderful lunch.

Sweet Temptations made our wedding cake and to say we loved our cake is no where near how we felt. Our cake was beyond what we expected!!!! It was the perfect center piece for our unique Day. We had cake left in our fridge and even after 5days of the cake being in the fridge it was still as delicious as the first day! This is a must go to place for a one of a kind Cake for your special day.

Beautiful cakes. They do an awesome job. I had an X- box cake made Sept of 2013. After that cake, I will not have my cakes made any where else. This July had a covered wagon cake made, it was for my 84 year old step-father and he was like a kid when he saw it. Thanks guys, it was great. Aug 2014 they will be making me a cake for my father, I know it will be awesome also.

I ordered a cake for our wedding and I will say the flavor was absolutely delicious. I had ordered a cake that was to include 3 candy succulents and some accents. I paid extra for these items. When the cake arrived I was busy getting dressed. I came out to say hello and saw how lovely the frosting color and design turned out. When I came out after dressing I had no succulens and they had already left. What they put on my cake instead was not attractive The cake design was even based off of a cake that they had made for the lady who did our tasting and she was the one setting up the cake so Im not sure what happened. Instead there was these dried up (real,like you hung upside down to save) roses placed on my cake. I probably should have called and complained but the damage was done and I wasnt going to let some dried up roses ruin my day. In the past I have ordered from them and they were outstanding. The frosting and color was outstanding. The flavor was outstanding. This time I just didnt get what I paid for and if they had forgotten the accents I would have rather have them tell me so and not try to doctor it up with dead roses. I will still order from them in the future. They typically do a great job.

Went there yesterday.. First and last time.. Was from out of town.... It was close to closing time... Customer service was good.. But brownie that girl said was really good was crusty and hard on the bottom, tasted like it had been baked for at least 4/5 days.... Very disappointing

I’m so impressed by these guys ! Let me start off by saying I went to another cake shop and theee taste was horrible, almost tasted like a donut, very plane. So I walked into this cake shop and was greeted and started to tell the women that I needed a vampirine birthday cake for my daughter 5th birthday, and another man came to the desk and toldMe it wouldn’t be a problem! With such short notice I was worried but I was quickly told “ it be no problem”. So I told him what I wanted, how my daughter wanted it and told him the issue I had with the other bakery. So he give me a cup cake to take home. My daughter loved the taste and it was so rich and moist... today my husband pick up the cake and when I saw it I was shocked, for the price I paid (which was under 50$ for a 8” cake) i was impressed and very happy customer. And the most important part is my daughter is super excited. It was to the T on how she wanted it, with the bats on the sides like I asked, they really took time on this cake and make it perfect ! I will be back !

Wonderful looking and great tasting cake. This was for our Baby Shower and my mother who lives in BG brought it up to Louisville. Not only did it make the trip it was better than anything we could find in the Ville.

Needed a cake in a hurry for a birthday. They had some to pick from and it was delicious!
