Customer service at the Boulder Location was awesome! We worked with Margie and she was very good to work with. The installers were awesome and they put in a long day to get the job finished. We needed some touch up work on the stone for our fireplace and they came out right away to fix it and made it look even nicer to fit the trim piece to our new fireplace. I would definitely suggest this store and the showroom was very nice and clean! Very friendly store.

We worked with Mitch to do all our carpeting in a home we totally renovated. He was professional, personable and all around delightful to work with. We had problems with our carpet that was put in our basement which included a bedroom, office, two extra rooms and a family room. The carpet was defective and working this Mitch to replace it was wonderful. This issue was quickly resolved and we and very thankful we worked with Mitch and went to Carpet Exchange.

I visited on three occasions and worked with Tristan initially. I went back as I had chosen my carpet and was told I would be on the list for room measurements and a message would be left with Tristan. Nothing-crickets. I then went back last Sunday gave Triston the required information and received an initial quote per sq yard. I was told I would be contacted within 72 hours for room measurements-more crickets. . .spoke with Tristan today-polite enough-but sort of seemed to make excuses-done with them-I could have had my project completed 3x over. Folks appear to work part-time with little coordination. I liked the sales force-too bad they do not have any interest in doing their jobs.

Very good experience. Salesperson Sarha was knowledgeable and helpful, assisting me in finding a beautiful carpet in my price range (hint: spend extra on the nicer padding, it makes a difference!) We were on a short timeline, which they were able to meet. Installation crew was amazing! We even tipped them $100, because they did such a great job; careful, efficient, and cheerful the whole time. Im very satisfied!

What a great experience! I had never bought carpet before, and I was a little nervous about having increased contact with service personnel during the pandemic. We managed to do this entire job remotely, and I could not be happier with the results! I spoke to a salesperson over the phone, described what I wanted. He sent me some stock numbers of recommendations. I was able to stop into a showroom on my own time, easily find the recommended items on my own, verify that was, in fact, exactly what I wanted. I have a combination lock on the door to the empty residence where we having the installation in preparation for sale. I didnt have to meet them for measurements or installation. I came in when it was all over, and everything looked great! I recommend Carpet Exchange on customer service, convenience, selection, and price, everything across the board. They make it so easy!

Overall a fabulous experience end to end from sales to service to implementation. Everything happened on the dates and times promised. We really like our sales person Tyler. Also, the pricing they extended was the best when compared apples to apple to competitors. I would definitely use them again and recommend Carpet Exchange Boulder to family and friends.

Prior to my move from Austin, TX to Lyons, CO in Oct, 2014, I purchased carpeting from Carpet Exchange for 3 rooms to be installed in my new condo prior to my move. Ive been pleased with the quality of the product; but after 6 1/2 years, the carpet was showing ridges that needed to be stretched out.Mitchell Reiss, in your Boulder store, was very helpful in advising me of the process and cost of this procedure. He scheduled the job for Thurs., Feb 4. Two men, Kevin and his boss Walter, called my home Thursday morning and said theyd be there within an hour. They were.I had previously removed small items from tables, etc. They reviewed the situation and how they would move which furniture and then would stretch the carpet. They came, they saw, and they professionally and efficiently did what needed to be done. They put any moved furniture back in place after vacuuming (in places that never get open, yeah!). I had my carpeting replaced by carpet exchange in Boulder seven years ago. It started to buckle in a few places and I called to find out how much they would charge to stretch it. I found that it had a 10 year warranty and they are going to stretch it for free. I am totally delighted with the quality of the carpeting and the service that carpet exchange provides.

Not a good experience. Sold me a rug pad that is too small. Plus. While he was suppose to be helping me....walks away a starts chatting with a female coworker. I was in a hurry ...on lunch break.... anyway. Now I have to deal with a pad that is too small. It was suppose to fit a 6x6 rug. I believe it it made for 5x5 rug. Hope I can get my money back and go elsewhere.

From the minute I walked in the door I felt a true commitment to service. Margie made me feel like my problem carpet repair was important to her . She immediately diagnosed the issue and assured me it was no big deal and that their repair person could take care of it without a doubt. She also told me, without hesitation, that it would just be the minimum charge. I had gotten three bids and all of them were for more money, PLUS they hemmed and hawed about how it COULD be more...if they ran into problems . (Ive had a few bad experiences with THAT). SO when it was just a clean, clear price I knew Id found the dealer I could trust. RICHARD came to my house a few days later, did the repair,remarkably well, and was very pleasant. He said hed been working in all phases of carpet installation and repair since he was thirteen. I was SO pleased.!! I LOVE working with people I can TRUST! Poor customer service... Store only had one other customer in it and we received no welcome and no help as we fumbled through things for half an hour except to tell us to leave 10 minutes before the posted closing time. Much happier purchasing somewhere else!

We spent way too much money on carpet that has turned out to be far less than desired. We sought assistance upon purchase and were misguided. If you with CE, hope you have better luck than us. Already looking at future replacement options, and they wont be a contender.

Everyone that we met at this Carpet Exchange was wonderful to work with -- from Adam, who is the store Manager to the wood floor installers. Evan and Chris spent nearly 10 hours installing a gorgeous wood floor in our bedroom, hallway, and closets on the second floor of our house. They went up and down stairs so many times and they worked consistently. I have never seen such great workers and they were nice and cheerful when they finished. Carpet Exchange is the best!!! Mitch is a fantastic salesman, possibly the best Ive encountered. He picked up our job in the middle of a sale, when someone else suddenly quit and hustled to make our deadline. Wow! My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Carpet Exchange in Boulder, CO. After reading the reviews here, I decided to go visit them. We had 3 rooms to carpet and needed guidance and had a lot of questions. Mitch did a wonderful job of assisting us with our questions and ultimate carpet choice. The rooms were then manually measured by another staff member who was quick and efficient. The duo of Abraham and Manuel did a fabulous job with the install. They really know carpet! They worked tirelessly from the time they got to our house, until the job was complete. They were polite, professional, and very experienced. Ive never been wowed enough by any business to actually write a review but in this case I absolutely MUST tell everyone about my experience at Carpet Exchange in Boulder. Im sure all of the employees are perfectly lovely, but its Mitch Reiss who truly made my experience so positive. I cannot say enough good things about Mitch and the wonderful customer service he has provided. We recently decided to replace all of the flooring on the second level of our home because we are planning to sell in the spring and the old stuff was pretty nasty. My realtor actually recommended coming to Mitch and she was spot-on with that referral. He understood exactly what we were looking for and didnt try to up-sell us or make us feel bad for not wanting to spend a ton of money on something we wont be living with for much longer. The job was done when he said it would be and when there were a couple of glitches along the way, Mitch promised to make things right. He sent two great teams of installers and I especially like Patrick, the gentleman who installed the laminate portion of the floor. The poor guy had to make three trips up here (we live in the mountains above Boulder) through no fault of his own, but he was great about the whole thing. I really could not be happier with the almost-finished product (still need the carpet guys to come back to deal with the thresholds between the carpet in the bedrooms and the laminate in the hallway). If youre looking for new flooring, please, please, please go see Mitch. He is the consummate professional as well as being kind, patient, friendly and very knowledgeable. You will NOT be disappointed.

After searching many, many flooring stores in Boulder, I found everything I needed at Carpet Exchange - hickory hardwood for the living room, porcelain tile for the bath & vanity, carpets for the bedrooms. Mindy Dyer worked worked with us through the whole process - giving us lots of sample boards to take home during the decision-making, being sure we had the best installers, and quickly righting the inevitable glitches. Everything looks wonderful and my condo has a new life. Oh, did I mention that the costs were very reasonable as well?

We ordered 50 square yards of carpet for two bedrooms. Our purchase location was Boulder, Colorado and our sales representative was Adam. Adam was very professional and helpful to us; this is the third time we have worked with Adam. There is a good reason why we continue to come back! Thank you, Adam!!! The installation occurred on July 7, 2017 and the installer was Richard. Richard couldnt have been more meticulous and friendly. He encouraged us to observe and ask questions; we absolutely LOVE him! We will continue business with Carpet Exchange based on such a positive experience. As an aside, the carpet is just BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!! :-)

When we were looking to purchase flooring for our newly purchased home we were doing a lot of price comparisons. We were all set to purchase from our local DIY place when we decided to stop in at the Carpet Exchange in Boulder. We met Mindy Dyer and she was so very helpful with reviewing the products. Mindy was very personable and gave us better pricing than we thought was possible. Not only was the pricing better, but so was the product. We had new carpets laid in the bedrooms, porcelain tile in the laundry room, the kitchen, and entry way. The rest of the house was done in engineered hardwood floors. Mindy works well with the customer and her installation team. The installers did a fantastic job with all the products. We are very pleased with the entire outcome of the job. We would definitely use Mindy and her installation team again and save ourselves the hassle of shopping around because they gave us the best pricing and service.

Tylor was my salesman--he was informative, patient, helpful and kept in excellent contact with me. The customer service overall was superior and Im very happy with my new carpeting.

We bought new laminate floors and carpet from Mindy at Carpet Exchange and I honestly cant say enough good things about her. We were having such a difficult time finding a place that would help and actually respond to us - we walked in to Carpet Exchange and Mindy welcomed us with open arms. She was so responsive, even on her days off, and made this first time process so much easier. I will absolutely be returning to Mindy for all our flooring needs.

If there was a way to give less than one star I would do that in a heartbeat. My husband and I went into the store and asked to see low/no voc carpet and was taken to the (very) small section of wool carpet, of which about 1/2 of the samples didnt have prices. I went to the sales guy and told him that, expecting some help, and he looked up and said ok and returned to his computer. I stood there for a moment expecting some help and he never looked up/said anything again. When my husband returned with some paperwork/room dimensions from the car, he also approached the salesman who never looked up. Wow. We left. Too bad for him and the store as we had a pretty penny to spend on carpet and were taking our money somewhere else.

I had a terrible experience. Will never buy carpet from here again. If you must, Margi was great but the company horrible. Our carpet was over $7k for three rooms and the seam of the carpet that is in the middle of my bedroom is very noticeable and looks like a big hump. It looks terrible. Certainly was not there on old carpet and I know and have been told all Capet comes in the same width.They came out, agreed, and tried to stretch it a few times. The technicians agreed that there was an issue and then went back to the office and they sent out a gentleman to inspect for the third time.He decided nothing was wrong even though clearly the only reason he was there was because the last two gentlemen agreed there was a problem.Needless to say they did nothing for me. My carpet still looks horrible right in center of my bedroom. Shop elsewhere.

I had the most fabulous kitchen floor put in, Margie was very patient helping me choose the perfect color, and the installation team was on time and tidy. I will be back to buy my carpet next spring, they have such a large selection and great prices as well !

They have a good selection of carpet and wood flooring. But the deal is, they do the installation - and the installation was mediocre. We spent $10,000 on new carpet, which felt like a huge amount of money to us, and for that, we expected better follow-up. As in, We want you to be 100% thrilled with it and will do whatever it takes to make it right.But instead, its been me contacting them repeatedly for a year, getting a response much later from someone saying, The installers will contact you to fix it, and then never hearing anything from anyone again.Its just a drag when you feel a company really wants your business, but after youve paid them, you have to hound them to get them to make good on the deal.I think its a good place to check out carpet and wood styles, but I would advise you not to use them for installation, if thats possible.

Tylor Labate from the Boulder Carpet Exchange made my day! I was in urgent need of stone effect laminate or vinyl planks for several rooms in my home, which I am bringing on the market in 2 weeks. The contractor with whom I am working had a delay in ordering what I needed and could not acquire it in time. I called up Carpet Exchange to see if they had what I needed ASAP. Tylor worked with me to identify my needs. He quickly identified some options over the phone with me. We narrowed it down to a few choices at a great price point. I jumped in my car to get my eye on the samples.Tylor immediately greeted me at the store and showed me what he had in mind. He showed me several quality options and we narrowed it down to two. He offered me large samples to take home, not the small ones you get at other places. As I was driving home, he got on the phone with his rep to see if he could get the options I liked, which were not currently in stock.The options he provided were both very workable, and one of them was perfect. I called him back to let him know which one I wanted and he worked with me to get all the right transition pieces lined up for thresholds, steps etc. The next morning he called me to confirm that what I needed would be delivered within a few days and arranged payment with my contractor.Tylor is professional and knowledgeable and follows through. I appreciate all that he has done. I also want to comment that the other people who answered the phone whenever I called to speak with Tylor were professional and courteous and offered assistance when he was with other customers. They also made sure Tylor got word that I had called. He returned my calls timely and addressed my needs each time. Additionally, after my contractor made payment Tylor notified me to let me know that everything was taken care of and everything would be ready for pickup in just a few days.Thank you Tylor!!!! You saved me from a lot of stress and got me a quality flooring at a great price!

Carpet Exchange is always our go to. Their prices can not be beat. Countertop, carpet, tile. Hands down the best! Tylor was very helpful and accommodating.

We just completed a $26,000 purchase of floor covering and bathroom tile for virtually the entire house. The summation of that experience: the sales staff are courteous and knowledgeable. The selection is excellent. The quality of the product is top drawer. The price is competitive and reasonable. Then what else is there, you ask. Try after sale service, which is atrocious. The installation process after the sale required more than two months to complete. Other trades were on hold for weeks waiting for Carpet Exchange to do one simple thing: install a fabricated seat in a shower. The seat was available across town for a week, and no one at Carpet Exchange seemed to have any sense of urgency to get it and install it so other work could be completed. There is more to purchases of this kind than price.I realize that things happen sometimes, and hope that this was one of those times. But my best advice to shoppers: have an up from understanding with the store about installation schedules. Get a firm schedule that is acceptable, then build in financial penalties if it is not met. It is a shame when installation ruins an other wise exceptional experience.

My husband ordered a roll of carpet pad from this store, and began to install it himself over the weekend. After a few hours we all could smell an odor of mold. The entire roll of carpet pad was moldy. We were very disappointed. My husband just went to the store to return it and was very let down by the fact that the salesman denied that it smelled like mold, and would not offer any compensation other than the cost of the carpet pad itself, despite the fact that my husband spend the labor day weekend trying to install it. We will never shop here again.

Dont bother going here if your house is older than 1980. The installer showed up, took a look around and started dictating the terms of asbestos abatement of my existing flooring. He wanted me to start a $10k-20k project BEFORE he would install carpet where other carpet already was!Ill add that the salesman I worked with was super helpful and eager, but from there things went bad. Everyone else at the store was grumpy, ill-informed about various products, installation process, and so forth.Skip this place. The locally owned place I went to next had similar pricing, quality and selection. Local place was also super helpful and eager to work around my schedule and not telling me how to change my existing house!

Just got new carpet throughout (approx. 1800 sf) and they also BEAT Home Depots price on mid-level granite counter-tops in our kitchen. Fantastic Service & couldnt be happier with the installation!!!

The Masland wool carpet I bought through Carpet Exchange faded by the sliding door after about 5 months sun exposure. There were other issues with this carpet and other jobs I had this store do for my rental properties. Now Im getting the run around. You have to call Evelyn in another office. Phone tag, then silence.
