I had a all my ear piercings done here about 20 years ago in 2002. They did a great job, never had an issue with any of them. About to get my nose pierced and I still see good reviews of this place. I might have to make a trip to Boulder! Great place for piercings! They also customer made a lot of the ear jewelry I have worn over the last 2 decades. I cant find any comparable place.

Have been trusting K&K for my piercings for 20+ years. Had a navel piercing about 20 years ago (they had to fix a prior, improperly done, navel piercing) that I still have. Recently returned several times (worth traveling an hour each way) for a nostril piercing and helix piercing for myself and a conch piercing for my daughter. Mike is so skilled, carefully deciding location and angle for best presentation and so swift, it’s done before you realize. Clean and professional - will continue to be where we go for piercings!

Had a great experience here. They offer walk-ins which is convenient and the staff is helpful. The prices are reasonable too: I got both my ear lobes pierced and paid $50, earings included. Would definitely recommend it over Iris.

Found this place after not having the best experience at Iris piercing. All I can say is- get your piercing here! Very professional and knowledgeable- I was even told I was wearing some of my earrings too tight! My piercing is healing really well.

I have had over 20 piercings in my lifetime. I was nervous at first glance. But after chatting with Tony, I was ready. I got my vertical labret done again after being retired for 5 years. Tony did it in seconds, after seeing the jewelry was a little big. He changed it out, reversed the piercing gauges without any pain. I am so impressed, I will be making a special trip just to K & K for all my future piercings. Tony, you rock!!!

Was a little hesitant to get my 6 year old’s ears pierced for the first time at a piercing/head shop, but they came highly recommended by several sources. They were very professional and helpful. They were great with my daughter and very reassuring and comforting when she was nervous. I would highly recommend them.

Had my first K&K experience today! The staff was empathetic, inviting, and knowledgeable. My eyes watered during my nose piercing and the guy even wiped my tears for me lol! The prices were more than agreeable and the environment was CLEAN! This is now my go-to place.

I went to K&K to get a conch piercing. Tony was my piercer and I couldnt be happier with the service! Tony and all the other employees displayed utmost professionalism, especially in the times of COVID. He was kind and carefully walked me through the piercing and after care process. K & K is a fantastic little spot in Boulder. The staff is extremely knowledgeable and kind. I had my nose pierced here three years ago and had an excellent experience. I went in yesterday for a new nose ring and the staff was still the same and super awesome!

I love this place It’s the only place I will ever go to to get anybody piercings done they have been doing this for so long and they are the cleanliness place that you will ever go to. I have been going here for years now and they have always done such an amazing job. They are very caring and kind and do a great job at explaining how to keep piercings clean. I have gotten 5 different piercings myself from them and have gotten many of my friends to get piercing there and have had no issues! They also have great jewelry and great pricing!

I came in to talk about a piercing that I received at a shop in Dallas (NOT K&K!!!) and I talked to Tony. Tony helped me out with getting rid of keloids, gave me ointment for free, and sold me cleaning solution. Going back in 3 weeks for a piercing done by them! Super helpful people and they provide check ups on your piercings!!!

I had a great experience here! I got my second and third earlobe piercing on both of my ears. My piercer (I want to say his name was Mike?) was very kind and took his time drawing where he was going to pierce, making sure it looked okay to me; and then readjusting as he felt needed. The cost was on the pricier end ($100) but for the quality I got, no problems with healing, and kindness from Mike I think this was well worth it. He assured me before I left if I had ANY problems whatsoever, that I call him or stop in. I will be back!

Great experience! Mike pierced my triple forward helix (after Iris piercing said it wouldnt fit my anatomy). It looks great, and I love it! The place is owned by 3 brothers and their dad - they were all super warm and friendly. Not at all one of those sketchy piercing places. Definitely recommend them!

Great piercing service from the men who own this little shop; theyre extremely personable and make the process as easy as possible. I knocked them one star because of their jewelry quality. Yes, their jewelry is less expensive than other places in the area, but you get what you pay for. I bought a seamless septum ring that I was told was 14k gold, but it was never mentioned that the ring was gold-plated. Which, in case youre unfamiliar, means that the gold plating will rub off after enough continuous wear. Then you just have a basic, discolored, crappy-quality metal ring in a still-fresh wound. Im only writing this review to encourage people to really understand jewelry quality before buying. Ask questions of your piercer. Know the difference between solid gold, gold-plated, and gold-filled. Have high expectations of your experience, and dont settle on anything that isnt exactly what you want just because its $10 cheaper than the place around the corner.Overall, I had a positive experience here, but I was unhappy with the quality of my jewelry.

Charged me $70 for a septum piercing and forced me to buy cleaner I already had. I couldn’t even leave a fair tip because I was basically robbed blind. Tribal rights does it for $35

Very kind and polite. They take their piecing seriously, and dont rush things. We spent nearly 20 minutes making sure that placement was 100% perfect and that I was completely happy, which meant a lot to me. They also took a lot of time letting me pick out jewelry and explaining all of the cleaning procedures and their importance.They did my cheek/dimple piercings and I will definitely be returning for all of my jewelry and future piercings!I didnt have enough money for a tip worthy of the service as well as the cleaning supplies, so I decided I would rather tip and just clean with antibacterial hand soap until I got paid again. After they saw the tip, they actually chased after us to give me the bactiene for free! So kind!I have had a ton of compliments on my piercings already, and they are healing up nicely! I couldnt be happier!

Went here a year ago with my girlfriend. She had inverted nipples and had read all the great reviews for this location. The service is extremely professional, and his technique is nearly medical level. We returned a year later to loosen the nipples piercings which he did for free, again very professional and sanitary. He is worth every penny. Also her nipples are no longer inverted.

Tony has done all of my piercings since I could remember. About a year ago I was going to school and needed to take infection control. I asked tony if he could teach my about his autoclave (the machine they use to sterilize the instruments) he was more than happy to. He walked me through the entire infection control process, needless to say I aced my test and will forever be grateful to this establishment. Thank you!

Rude service when I calmly went it to share about my experience with their jewelry turning my nose green. The clerk told me I was misrepresenting the details about the affect occurring after just a few days, saying it would take months. I found his attitude and refusal to hear my experience unprofessional. I’m not happy with a $35 ring making my nose green, seems simple.

I went in here looking for a bellybutton ring and was helped by the younger of the two men there. He was very friendly and even helped me put the new jewelery in(as I had been changing jewelry out and hadn’t had one in for a few days which had made the piercing a bit irritated) he also gave me a packet of ointment to apply to help calm the irritation without me even asking. They have a huge variety of jewelry to choose from and were very helpful and friendly. Will be returning!

At first I was kind of Skeptical going there but they ended up fixing my wrongly sized belly button ring from another piercer. They are very informational, nice, and funny! I am for sure going back there for any future questions and piercings!

My daughter wanted her ears pierced and several people recommended K&K. My daughter was scared at first, but they were so kind to her and by the end she was calm and happy. Her ears look great and the experience was very positive.

Very small, very cramped. Cheap prices, but I dont know if thats necessarily a good thing. The owners were too pushy about making a quick sale, which can be pretty off putting when you want to take your time and find just the right piece. They also have an okay selection of cheap glassware for all you smokers. Worth walking into at least once.

I got my nose pierced here 6 weeks ago. Now I should have done more research on my own beforehand, but I thought that my piercer, being much more knowledgeable than me, would mention it if a hoop was a bad decision. So I get pierced with a hoop and immediately get a terrible and painful irritation bump that continues to grow. I come to find out that no other shops in the area (and no reputable shops anywhere) will pierce you with a hoop because it is so problematic to heal. I also learn that I was pierced with ‘surgical steel’ which can contain nickel and cause irritation. To top it off, k&k gave me bactine and bacitracin zinc ointment to heal my piercing, which I come to find out is also a horrible practice that no reputable piercers recommend because it does not promote healing. I took out the hoop and am letting the piercing close up and will go to Iris (a reputable piercer) to get it re-done. I am appalled at the complete ignorance of best practices and lack of knowledge/client education at K&K.

I love k&k. First time going definitely not the last! Everything was super clean, everyone Is unbelievably nice, and the guy made the peircing process seem like no big deal. Deffinately going back!
