Its the everything store for art supplies and the staff is so friendly. I wish I had Ive closer to home. Honestly this place is well worth a transatlantic flight ;)

The staff is the best part from my experience they genuinely care about their customers needs. Upon my arrival I felt welcomed purchased quality items with prices equal to the box stores but from a beautiful local community store in a convenient area with free parking.

Every trip into this store i experience items i wasnt even aware that i needed. Always having what i desire and usually leaving with something extra. The staff is super knowledgeable and are all active creators. Ill chose no other art supply store. Step in and discover your next passion.

Great place in a truly terrible location. Most of the times I try to get here, parking is impossible and oh usually have to pay (if any spots available)... terrible traffic. Really frustrating bc I love what this place has to offer - just won’t be making many trips here.

Im just getting started painting for fun. The staff at Meininger at Boulder helped me pick out all of the right supplies and had great advice. They obviously know their stuff, but they treat beginners kindly too!

I am so happy to have shopped at Meiningers for over 30 years now. The service is awesome as they have answers and go straight to that weird product for the perfect solution. Its fun to browse and find new ways to extend your creativity. I get inspired there!

Ive been using this art store for the last 2 years now. Their selection is amazing and their staff is always helpful and nearby. I have previously shopped at Hobby Lobby and briefly at Michaels but both of those businesses have very cheap supplies or no real brand selection or choice to speak of when. Whereas Hobby Lobby had a SINGLE brand of oil paint Meiningers has every brand you could think of and for every price range. I love this store.

Amazing for art supplies but their staff members are rude. My family and I were followed around the store and made to feel like criminals simply because a staff member had a bad reaction to my pink open carried firearm. The security guard was so close had I stopped suddenly I would be spitting hipster for a week. My piece was simply holstered, I was not waving it around nor drawing any attention to it, I even made sure to not go in the area of the lady that had the original issue. My family and I will not be returning and will take our business else where.

More limited selection compared to their Denver location, but they have more copic marker options and carry a larger selection of refills for those markers. Friendly and courteous staff who are very knowledgeable who are always willing to help if they are able.

Nice place. Parking can seem confusing to people not knowing how the hill operates. For living in boulder this is perfect for art supplies. The Denver store has alot more choices, so if you cant find what you need then the store will have a better chance of having it. I believe i over heard an employee offering to call them for a shopper for an item. Which is great that the stores work together to help you find what you need. Its a must visit to check out both places even if you dont buy anything just so you know. Since one day you may need high end drawing pencil or 10 foot canvas.

Very nice selection of professional brushes, paints, paper, tools, clays! They have a little parking lot which usually has at least one spot open. Its upstairs, not sure if its handicap accessible. Im not so sure about the staff though, I swear the one guy was high! Not kidding. He asked if I need help and I said I wanted to make a sculpture and wasnt sure what to get and he was very unhelpful, he talked slow, and led me to the childrens clay! Didnt mention anything about armatures or about types of clay or even mention the big blocks of professional clay, just little bitty sculpy clay. Well, good thing I didnt listen to his poor advice and bought 25lb of professional air dry clay and my sculpture is great, way better than sculpy. I drive all the way from Longmont to get my supplies from here. Do not go to hobby lobby or micheals for art supplies, they not professional or good quality.
