It was my first purchase of a Cartier watch and the experience was wonderful. The interior of the boutique in Boston was stunning and relaxing. And Yairis could not been more polite, helpful and knowledgeable. My checkbook took a hit, but it was well worth it. The packaging of the box was also fabulous! I didn’t want to unwrap it. Walk away from this store!The staff are not helpful and not friendly. I ordered in store and my sales promised to call me ASAP when arrived and would help me with appointment. I literally waited a week and haven’t heard any thing. I walked in to pick it up and another sales seems really inpatient and not respectful.

I hope I got the names right; Jai and Halema both went above and beyond, elevating our experience to a new level of VVIP experience. This wasn’t our first visit. However, it was our first with such outstanding service. We spent nearly an hour, and we never felt for a second that we are not welcomed, or Jai just want to get it done with us; she was always excited and offered a lot of valuable suggestions.I had a chance to speak to the manager to express my gratitude for the outstanding team. I was amazed at how she trusts and support her team and wanted to hear more, looking for more improvement, and asked for more information as necessary.Cartier’s value has increased, at least in my own eyes, after this experience.Thank you.

Pierre exceeded my expectations for a sales associate at Cartier. He went above and beyond for my sister and I and was one of the most professional and knowledgeable sale associate I’ve ever had at Cartier. This was not our first Cartier purchase, but I have walked out empty handed refusing to buy something in the past due to a sales associate being rude or pushy. Pierre took his time with us with sizing for a new edition to my bracelets and helped with choosing the right size. He was extremely patient and kind. I HIGHLY recommend Pierre when visiting the Cartier boutique in Boston. You will not be disappointed!

My boyfriend purchased a LOVE sm bracelet for me sometime in the middle of December for Christmas. The size was a little off, so I excitedly tried to make an appointment online. Because I live right around the corner from the Cartier boutique store in Boston, I decided to go and see if they could exchange sizes for me, especially since I couldnt secure an appointment until Wednesday the 30th. I realized very quickly that many others had the same idea, given that I tried to go on the 26th, but decided that I didnt mind waiting. After waiting in line for an hour, I committed to more waiting.I actually didnt mind waiting so long because I understand that the pandemic has forced retailers to decrease capacity to 25% and I didnt have an appointment. However, watching the lady manning the front was excruciating. She was incredibly rude to all of the waiting customers, to the point that it was painful to watch. She was short-tempered, and when people would ask for an estimate of how long they were going to have to wait, she would immediately say that people were welcome to wait in line but she didnt know how long it was going to take.I ended up having a pleasant time with Jose who showed me several beautiful pieces. We ultimately decided that I would go up a size in the LOVE bracelet. He said that they would probably be delivered to the store on Wednesday. Given that it is Thursday, I wanted to go check in on the bracelet and was forced to deal with the horrible woman again. She made me sit down and wait again, even though I just wanted a quick check up on my bracelet. After taking my confirmation number to Jose, who I could literally see was working, she came back to tell me that the bracelets werent in stock. When I asked when they would be delivered, she again had no answer. I explained to her that there was another bracelet (the Juste un clou) that I had really enjoyed and wanted to see if there would be time for me to try it on again. She said no and that if I really wanted to see it again, I would have to make an appointment with Betsy. When I tried to explain to her that Betsy had helped my boyfriend and when Jose had helped me, he had given me a new envelope with his own business card and that I didnt have a way of reaching Betsy, she was again really rude.Although I understand that its a trying time for everyone, I feel that, given that Cartier is a luxury brand, the lady could be a little nicer to her customers. I am honestly a little afraid of going back to the Cartier Boutique in Boston because I dont want to even be around her condescending tone. I dont know what to do, especially since I think I want the other Juste en clou instead. I wouldnt really be able to decide, since I cant even get anyone to help me, given that most everyone gets turned away by the fire breathing lady at the front.Anyways, I guess that my advice is, if you dont have an appointment, I would not bother.

My fiancΓ© and I had a lovely experience purchasing his ring with Irene. She made our experience very pleasant and she was very informed. Unfortunately this is where the pleasantries ended with this location. The ring didn’t seem to fit him quite well so we went back to either exchange and or get it resized. We were cutting it very close to the exchange window so we decided to visit on a weekend when we were both off.When we arrived we were told by the woman at check-in we could not be assisted because we didn’t have an appointment. While this would be normally fine from my end given the circumstances of COVID-19 policies, it seems that this policy is loose and they handpick who they’d like to enforce this policy on. As I was explaining the reason for our quick visit the woman who was handling the check-in paused me to answer a phone call that seemed to be from a client. She then proceeded to tell this client that if she cared to β€œpop inβ€œ she most certainly could. At that point I was extremely upset and knew I was being discriminated against because I was not there to spend new money, nor was I a high ticket client for them.Ultimately my fiancΓ© was admitted to go resize his ring while I waited out side. Multiple groups who did not have appointments were accommodated to go inside. I would glance over at the woman each time because she knew I caught on to the lies she tried to feed me about being booked to capacity. Based on the reviews it seems this has happened to other individuals as well. I don’t have time or emotional energy to be wealth shamed by a sales associate. This Cartier seems to have a specific discrimination issue and must do better. My recommendation is to avoid this Cartier and visit another location or avoid them all together as Van Cleef and Arpels is directly right next store. You are only viewed as a dollar figure and after any purchase you are out of luck.I regret purchasing my fiancé’s wedding band at this location as now it’s permanently tainted by thisassociates attitude towards us.

Finally they allow extra cords to take home to switch out yourself! This wasnt the case before. Couldnt tell you how aggravated that made me considering how far I live from a boutique. Especially knowing other people who get extra cords from other boutiques from other states. The sales associate who assisted me today, Pierre, was warm and welcoming. So was the store manager. Im happy to see newer faces there. It wasnt as welcoming in the past. Go see Pierre. Hes very personable. Ill definitely see him for my next purchase. The only complaint I have- which isnt Cartiers fault- is the parking situation is an absolute nightmare if youre traveling by car to their location.

A cute place to shop in (window shop or real life shop)! Located in the beginning (first block) of Newbury Street, it is surrounded by other brand name stores, perfect for spending loads of hard earned dollars in! Staff are super friendly and helpful and are always watching you in case you need any helpπŸ˜…Store is also very adorably decorated for the holidays on the outside!

Absurdly long waiting time for simply picking up a repair. Had me wait at the door forever and I had to leave without seeing someone due to my schedule. I know the store was not even that crowded. Was it disrespect, rudeness, inefficiency, discrimination?-I am not sure. But I know it was a terrible experience. BTW parking fees start from at least $10 per 30 minutes in this area. You will probably have to throw $10 in the air simply waiting to have a real conversation with someone in this shop unless you were super lucky to find an available parking meter - which will very likely take your 30 minutes anyway. Visiting this place will deprive you of your time, money and emotional peace. Cartier must revisit their policy and service, Bostonians dont usually have much time to waste like that whether or not they are rich enough to be respected by Cartier. Dont know when Ill be able to pick up my ring lol.

This is one of the worst Cartier shops world wide. I ended up buying my wife a gift as her smile was worth the world. Nonetheless, the custom with cartier is that they offer you a seat and something to drink which was not the case with this branch. Staff is unprofessional and unresponsive. Security guard is rude similar to what other reviews mentioned.

Dont try to buy anything in this store. Their service is very unprofessional. They even lost your GIA certificates. GIA certificate is a certification for every diamond from Cartier. When you purchase a diamond ring or anything with a diamond, your sales should mail the GIA certificate to your home. But be carefull, this store will lost your GIA certificate even they told you they will mail it to you. I strongly suggest everyone buy diamond from other Cartier stores!

I had a similar experience to someone else who commented here. I was followed by the security guard throughout the store from the time I entered, until I left. There were many other customers in the store, walking in and out, and the guard never went near any of them. Very disrespectful.
