Its easy to lose a few hours in this place. Great books in a quaint and charming atmosphere. The staff is always helpful because it can be tricky to find things. There are some gems in the downstairs. We stumbled upon a random old school genetics comic book.

Pricier than most places youd be able to pick up school supplies but definitely nice to have in a pinch... definitely shop around before getting textbooks there unless absolutely necessary. Amazon will usually be cheaper both to rent and to buy.

How can you not give it 5 stars? Everything you need to represent your school and distinguish yourself from others in a city filled with countless others.

I really loved it. Its big store and has wide range of products. I picked up a T, a sweatshirt and jogging suit for myself...and my credit card worked easily here :)..in UMASS cafeteria swipe machine, I got lot of problem with my credit cards. Its a cool university bookstore, something like you expect in UMASS. I loved the quality of everything available in the store.

When I visited UMASS bookstore, I thought things were going to be extremely expensive like the previous college bookstore. I was amazed by their prices. Their electric are half cheaper than the previous bookstore. The same laptop I bought at my old college is half price than theirs, which was crazy! I could not believe it. I which I could return it and get my money back, but it is too late.It was very organized and has almost everything a student need for their academic.I will be starting this fall and I picked my books and ready to pay for them. The prices were the same and a little cheaper than Amazon.Shop around first to compare the prices. I bet UMass Bookstore will be your academic school supplies ideal store.

One of my favorite book stores. Found this place several months ago and was amazed at the selection and the great prices on some rare books. Ive seen some of the reviews about customer service and Im not sure what all the fuss is about. Its a book store. Browse around and if you need help finding something just ASK. Its not that difficult people.

Definitely a must for those new to Boston. Huge selection and just overall a cool place. Get the Frequent Buyer card for discounts.

Has absolutely everything anyone could need??! You can literally buy a whole Keurig machine here. Dont know why you would want to, but you can.

Crazy prices for the need-it-now student situation. Be prepared for your classes and dont waste your money. Get your books and everything else online.

The stuff there are helpful and will find any book that you want but, their price is bit high

I must say, that each and EVERY semester MANY of the cashiers that works there...really needs some manners in customer service. Because MANY of them REALLY LACK & NEED WORK BEFORE THEY TAKE ON THAT JOB...SPECIALLY IF THERE CUSTOMER IS DISABLED!!!!

Its good your average university book store

The staff is always willing to help you find the books you need for the upcoming semester and the management goes the extra mile.

Lively environment. Beautiful area and friendly students.

Its clean. And UMass is always trying to figure out better layouts so that it can be less hectic in there which is always understandable overall its a nice bookstore

I was a international student so for me to get all your books from on campus book store was a unique convienent and wonderful experience.

Ive been going here for years and continue to enjoy the bookstore, cafe and the UMass Boston Bookstore community.

Staff was courteous and helpful despite the long lines. The lines moved quickly at the peak time I was in and out in 20 minutes.

Very clean and organized store for UMB students. Book returns are here as well as a good selection of books/school gear, and discounted tech.

Pretty average college bookstore, but the apparel is pretty nice. Computer selection a little thin, but they have lots of dorm room essentially.

Its in the administrative building once you drop from the bus and it has books youll need and some you wont lol and nice service too.

First week there could be a line. Renting books could be all sold out. Be early and ready abt the book you need to rent and make sure the teacher is using the book before you rent or buy it.

Its a university bookstore the main downfall is that the prices are like 2 to 3 more expensive than what you can find online.
