Great store to stop in and get some hidden treasures for the kid. Staff was friendly and kind. Felt like I was home in Wisconsin. Would definitely recommend stopping in

This place is okay. The books are expensive. Not a good collection for a comic book fan. They have all new comics and stuff.

Pretty lousy as a comic shop. More space for records, music, and such than nerdy stuff for people who are actually into comics. If you are a collector, dont bother.

Very fun place to shop. Friendly staff advised us of the elevator to get upstairs for our daughter in a wheelchair.

Nice place to buy comic and kpop stuffs, give three stars beacuse I didn’t find Kyungsoo’s album, hope I can find it somewhere else or maybe the store can restore it in the future

I love this store it has everything from anime/manga to TV shows/movies!! You can get lots of valuable or cool things from your favorite shows/movies!! The area around it is pretty good as well!! I do recommend!!!

Nice place. thought Id pick up the new Dropkick Murphys record (it came out six days before my visit) but there were zero copies... in Boston. I was like ok, I get it... Cool place though.

A wide selection of everything I enjoy like comics, manga, kpop, and the merch. Even if just looking around, its extraordinarily fun to wander around the store and look at everything. Theres a lot of funko pops, a selection of manga, vinyl, albums, t-shirts, and much more. Spent an hour just wandering around inside.

Anything Anime, Manga, or other cartoon types merchandise could be here. Books, t shirts, Pop figures and much much more. Not just Anime, but lots of other items! Located at Quincy Market in Boston!! Check it out! Kids and young adults seem to love it!!

This place is just full of nerdy things. Every t-shirt and accessory. They have a huge selection of Funko Pop figures and manga upstairs. I bought a fun face mask and my friend got a few books.

Not many comics. Mostly trade paperbacks, vinyl records and Funko pop stuff.

This place is huuuge! It didnt look that big from the outside, but I was pleasantly surprised by all the fun merch and comic book selection it had to offer. Cant wait to go back and peruse some more.

This used to be a really cool store. The merchandise has changed to toys... Eh...

Very awesome place with so much cool stuff. They concentrated more in merchandising than comic books, but I think thats just a product of whats popular. There were a few sales going on at the time, so I did a bit of splurging while I was there. All in all, worth a look for something different if youre already at Quincy Marketplace, or maybe even worth the trip by itself.

I stop here every time Im in Boston. Love this store!! So much to look at and can get some pretty fun and interesting gifts. Some items are a tad bit pricey but I also havent been disappointed.Treating oneself is a must!!

Ive been to my fair share of Newbury Comics locations throughout MA, and I can honestly say that this is consistently the best.

My son is a Godzilla fan and wanted to spend some Birthday money but there wasnt anything. Overall people were friendly

Great Store for everything comics.Wau, I was just passing by and saw this Comics Store so decided to enter there but this store its much more than just comics, you can find music, merchandise related to TV Shows, clothes and even books, not necessarily related to comics.At the end we decided to get some Funko Pop figurines which are amazing and so many to choose from.Also they have really good promotions so if you have the change check it out.

A good local comic store having lots of options to choose from. They have some Boston city souvenirs available as well, and is a one stop shop for all genres and related accessories etc.

Fun place to go to

I used to go here when I was a kid and he was edgy and had great music and posters. Although it still has many things it has become very commercialized. It has lost that edge it used to have. I still would recommend visiting when in Boston. I will again for sure!

Amazing shop! My new favorite comic place in the Boston area. It is definitely bigger on the inside. Tons of pop culture items and a variety of comics and art books. Their Manga section is HUGE! I remember when I was a kid and I could barely find any graphic novels, comics and other memorabilia; this place basically has it all!

This is one of the biggest comic book places that I have visited. They had a great selection of shirts, vinyl records and of course comic books. They had quite a lot of shirts on clearance so I stocked up and bought 6 different shirts. They had quite a lot of musical artist and band shirts as well as many pop cultural themed shirts. The staff was friendly and helpful. They gave me a 15% discount on top of the already discounted shirts. I would definitely recommend this comic shop to anyone looking for comics, vinyl records or t-shirts.

One of the truly great Comic stores. They have an wise variety of merchandise overall. One expectation not met was a locked case of more valuable comics for collecting. Everything was new.

Very nice store, lots of selection. Odd that they dont have comics upon entering, but the store is pretty extensive so youll find them eventually. Also a good CD collection, I got Headhunters and Straight Outta Compton for 10 each.

Visit Everytime Im in Boston! Great novelty shop. Only reason its not 5 stars is because the last 3 times Ive been their stock of hats has been non existent. 5 panels to be exact .

I wish I had one of these in Phoenix. We have multiple stopped that cover the spectrum of what the have but its cool to have it all in one store. Comics, manga, books, clothes, music, every room I entered surprised with the other things they sell. I wish I had discovered it when I had more time. Id really love to come here with my daughters, theyd love it. Its like a comic book store, music store and Hot Topic all combined.

Wonderful atmosphere and the staff is super helpful. There is a little bit of everything for fans of new things, old shows, comics, joke material, and apparel. Wish they had more comics rather than volumes but this may be catering to infrequent visitors rather than a dedicated following.

Your a geek, Im a geek, love it. Go buy, no guilt. Have fun. A fanboy dream come true. In all aspects. Just enjoy the shopping.

There was SO much there to see with it being upstairs and multiple rooms. The main thing that I seen was Funko pops.

An enormous choice of everything a nerd would wish for. The staff is great the atmosphere is great the place is great. Would 100% recommend to visit.

I was looking for a Valentines Day present for my boyfriend and the staff was so helpful and it was raining out a very miserable day. When I went there it was like heaven sent. The staff even offered me a discount. WICKED was the code. All the staff needs a nice raise on their paycheck!!!!

Awesome comic book store! They have way more than comics. Kind of a geek heaven!

Fun spot. All kinds of interesting games, gift items and generally silly stuff. The store is larger inside than it seems from outside.

Dont be fooled by the small looking storefront. This place is huge inside with a wide variety of items to choose from. We bought a t-shirt that was very reasonable priced.

They have a great comic collection and the prices here are very reasonable too. And the staff are well informed and super helpful.

They have just about every pop figure and they are organized well. They have really awesome socks too. I wanted to buy everything...way better than box lunch or hot topic.

They have a good sale room here. Always cool stuff in it for a fire deal. The employees are cool too. No one bugs you while youre just tryna browse.

Perfect place for outcasts, nerds, weirdos and others like myself. You cannot say that you were in Boston if you havent visited this store.The t-shirts have great quality and the comics selection is impressive. Friendly staff and theres always good music playing in the background.

I love this place. You will find a present for any gamer in your family. They dont sell the games, but you can find figurines and other official merchandise from popular games, cartoons, etc.

Great selection, fair prices, layout is a bit wonky, as things are sorted by genres and fandoms, but also sorted by type of product so finding specific items can be a bit of a chore. Also, the clearance section is a gold mine of great stuff at super cheap prices

A refreshingly deep dive into both pop and counter culture in the middle of downtown. An oasis in a desert of box stores. Always packed with excited people but never lacking in friendly clerks. Great variety, cool exclusives, but they can and will sell out of stuff on release day so time your visit accordingly.

This is hands down my favorite place to visit when Im in Boston. The gift ideas are plenty, especially for the geeks among your family and friends. Serving everyone from sci-fi to fantasy to literary geekdom, with books, t-shirts, magnets, toys, and records galore, its so easy to entertain yourself for hours here!

Basically a nerd Nirvana. Had a really great conversation with a member of the staff, and was super impressed by the selection of their items. All in all, a great place for anybody seeking nostalgia pieces or currently enthralled in the culture.

This was a good size Newbury Comics, and I enjoyed walking around looking at all the toys and records and books. You can find a lot of things from a lot of different fandoms, so its a great place to buy gifts as well as music.

Every time I go to Boston I have to visit this place. Ive never purchased anything here its just incredible to look through. Its not their fault but it is very claustrophobic which is the only reason its not five stars. I know its the location but it still is a factor. You can find fan items from the most obscure fandoms here. its great to look through everything and find random Little gems. I have found a lot of things Ive seen theyre slightly cheaper on Amazon or online, but thats in store shopping tends to work these days. Instant gratification is often worth it if you have the money. Unfortunately I do not but I still make it a point to go every time Im there.

Love this place. Enough gear to keep any nerd happy.
