This is a fantastic, very chill bookstore. They have both used and new books. There can be a bit of confusion about which books are new and which are used, but the staff is great so don’t be shy about asking if you need clarification or if a title catches your eye on a high shelf. There is also a nice selection of vinyl and some very cool gifts from mugs, bags, jewelry and more. There are plenty of places to sit and pour over your new finds.Last but not least, this store works with the youth in their community, helping them learn the business and setting them up for success. So not only are you buying great books, at very reasonable prices I might add, you are also supporting some truly phenomenal people.

A phenomenal used bookstore with lovely staff. This is a very large yet spacious and brilliantly organised used book store. The organisation supports people getting into work and takes book donations. The shop is large but impressive in its presentation and it’s carefully and thoughtfully laid out and set up. Drapes create a warmth while wood and antique fittings complement the very suitable modern shelving.Well worth a visit. For comic fans - a decent selection of Graphic Novels about 10 foot in total.

First of all, its a beautiful independent bookstore. The interior design is inviting and warm. They have a kids corner and tables, couches, chairs to work at with your laptop etc, plus free Wi-Fi.A part of the store can be rented for events and they have a big pull down screen.Anyway, the best part of it is that this is actually a non-profit organization employing at-risk teens to teach business and entrepreneurial skills. So all the profits from the book store and events etc go directly back into the program. They rely entirely on donated books. So feel free to drop your unwanted books of with them.Additionally, they have items for sale that are made by other non profits.

Love their new space. The open design of the warehouse is gorgeous and invites you to get lost in their books. Shopping here supports a great cause and you get some great deals on used books. Whenever I am in the area I stop in to see what they have and generally find a new book to bring home for myself or a family member.

Third time now that I have called and been told the PHYSICAL book store is open by an employee, drove the 40 minutes to get there and show up to a locked door. I call from the front and they tell me we’re closed due to covid. Listen, that’s fine to be closed due to covid, I get it. But when someone asks you three times if your “PHYSICAL store is open to the public” and your customer service rep says yes and that is untrue. That’s a bad look. So frustrating, I guess third time sealed the deal...you’ve lost my business.

Nice bookstore with decent prices. The vibes are good and the staff is friendly. The only problem is that the selection might have been better, given the size. For example, there was only one bookshelf for both the math and science books, and it only had popular science stuff. If youre looking for fiction literature, its not bad. But in case you need something technical or specialized better try your luck somewhere else

Cool bookstore. Great vision and mission to support the youth. But apart from the cause good prices for a nice selection of books. Very clean and organized. Loved the vibe. Maybe some bean bags to sit in would be cool but theres a bunch of tables in the back to sit down. Im from out of town but if I stay bear there would def come back. They have a membership system as well to use for their multiple locations. Friendly staff too.

This is the best place for a party in Boston. We had about sixty people attend my 60th birthday party. Aida orchestrated the set up, suggested vendors, and made the event seamless. Plus, our guests donated lots of books to More than Words. We were even able to have space for dancing and dinner. We will be back again and again.

A real find. I donated a bunch of books and decided to check out the store. Very bright, clean and inviting. The books are neatly displayed and catagorized and very, very inexpensive. Some are used and perhaps a bit worn, but so many appear to be new ..and at about 1/3 the cost.In addition there are a number of gift products from other non-profits.And your purchase supports the work of at risk young men and women!Plan to visit for your holiday shopping

Great experience all around! Donating was quick and easy. Fill out a simple form on their iPad and a tax receipt will be emailed to you (you just need to estimate the number of books youre donating). The store was very clean and organized and pricing is simple: $4.95/hardcover, $3.95/softcover, $2.95/childens books. There are multiple spots to sit in case you want to peruse the book before you buy. Great customer service from each staff member -- Ill definitely be back! Thanks More Than Words!

I was having lunch with a friend at Sullivans and asked if she had ever heard about More Than Words. We decided to swing on by to see what it was all about. AMAZING! Great selection and the prices are right. More than that I love to see programs that really help our youth AND keep books out of the landfills. In the Medieval Manor building and around the corner from Whole Foods, across from Pine Street Inn. Well worth the trip. Check out their website and learn more. Youll be a regular!

This is a great place for youth who are involved in court, DCF, DMH, homeless, or out of school. I was grateful to watch many young people change their lives around, and believe in their futures. This is a book store that focuses on the young people they are serving and trains them to run an entire business. Props to the crazy book lady who founded such a wonderful social non-profit.
