It’s a great place to shop. I find it hilarious that some entitled American people are upset that the Asian food market speaks mainly their native language. This store has been here for years before all the gentrification happened near by it. If you want an English speaking store go to Trader Joe’s or Whole Foods where there’s people that look like you. Do not come here to disturb people in their community just because you want them to speak English. Find what you need in the store or get out and go to the store where you grew up near. All you guys come here to do is to conquer lands and things that do not belong to you.

This place was busy when I went there (on a Saturday). It was relatively less expensive than its neighboring store (New York Marts). I recommend going to this shop first before the other one nearby. Youll get a wider variety of vegetables at a fraction of the cost. Will be coming here more often.

If youre a Chinese individual Im sure its a great place! But if youre disabled youre American and you cant speak a word of Chinese its probably not a good idea to shop there because you will get ran over they run they hustle they cut each other off! I received a gift card for Christmas to shop there and it was an experience Ill never forget! There are no mannerisms when people are shopping there at all! It is a far cry from shopping at an American supermarket! It was The learning experience for me because when I tried to ask one of the people that work there where is a certain item they just looked at me because nobody spoke English except one person I finally found! I spent $20 there got out of there as quick as possible and I had $5 left over on my card which I gave to a Chinese individual person at a bus stop and told him they can have what was left on the card and they understood it and thanked me! If you dont know where youre going in this place it is a nightmare because nobody knows English and you dont know Chinese so you just have to look around and try to Dodge carts at the same time as people are cutting you off! Im sure its great if youre Chinese or you can speak the language but for me Id rather not experience it again! Ill stick with American or Mexican Supermarkets! And of course I was looked at kind of strangely because Im sure they figured out I wasnt Chinese! It was like going to a Black Friday sale at a supermarket! The good part was I found some silverware I could buy and this thing called Chinese pudding which tastes like jello to me with fruit in it it was good but I can tell you this, I wont be back there to get more of this pudding Ill get ran over! 😬😬

The ONLY PROBLEM I HAVE IS THAT, THEY REALLY NEED MORE PEOPLE THAT SPEAKS ENGLISH!!!! There are more AMERICAN PEOPLE COMING IN TO THE STORE, DUE TO THE SURROUNDING APARTMENTS & CONDOS THAT ARE BEING BUILD AROUND THEIR MARKET. WHILE AT THE SAME TIME, INCREASE THE AMOUNT OF, ROCK & SNOW CRABS IN THEIR TANKS....THESE ARE A BIG SALE FOR THE ISLANDERS, YOUNGER COOK THAT COOK DISHES FROM THEIR HOMELAND FOR THEIR FAMILIES....AND THESE TYPES OF CRAB ARE THE ONLY TYPE THEY ARE ABLE TO USE. 🦀😋

Worst experience and first time coming here. They seem to not value customers at all and genuinely do not care about how they are running their store. One car was blocking one side of the exits and was not moving, so I had to drive in through the other way and it was cramped! When I parked an employee came out and started yelling at me in what I assume is Cantonese. I could not understand what he was berating me about but he kept yelling at me to turn, so I went back in my car to readjust. I started getting frustrated because the employee kept flailing his arms when I tried reparking so I could not tell what he was asking me to do. What was even worse was that I did not know where to park because of the snow on the floor! It was even more frustrating because one car was parked CROOKED and I assumed they did not do anything, and it seemed unfair that they are yelling at my parking.I asked him to do something about the car that was blocking one of the exits, but he dismissed that and kept screaming at me in Cantonese. I decided that if they were going to treat customers like this and disregard any issues then it is not worth shopping here. So I got back in my car and left without even stepping into the store.

As a typical Chinese, I would say the staffs here are really really rude and mannerless. Even though they got plenty of all kinds stuff we need, we probably wont be there any more. Finding parking on the weekend is like winning lottery! Once you are inside, you will find as many products as customers. Physical distancing is not happening. But at least everyone is wearing a mask, some even doubling up. Prices are okay. Help at the cashiers is minimal at best. Be prepared to pack your own bags.

Compared to the other Chinese grocery store down the street, C-mart has more choices, a little bit more expensive, and feel more crowded. Thats all okay except parking. Its been bad since its customer cannot use the parking lot across the street. Both my friends car and mine got scratched and bumped when parking there. The damage is too small to get repair but too big to not notice it!

You cant get any help or assistance on any item because they show no interest in you if your not Chinese..when you ask where to find an item, they just keep walking or they throw their hand and finger and point in no real direction..its very obvious that they care and cater to their own people..very sad, because if a Chinese went into an American or Spanish or any other nationality supermarket, they would gladly assist you and show you things..but Chinese supermarkets are not very welcoming to different nationalities.

Really cool, unique Chinese supermarket. Really impressive and would like to give more stars, but I was unable to get ANY assistance in English, which really limited me as a non-Chinese speaker. I was interested in purchasing some seafood and tried asking questions to several employees but no one could help me because of the major language barrier. I understand the demographics but was surprised no one could help me. Next time will go with my friend who can translate, otherwise a great market.

They have their own farm and vegetables are fresh all the time. Here you can find also one of the best choices of fresh sea food. The place is very crowded most of the time. They have parking spots in front of building (always busy) and another parking across the street( more chances to park your car). Its very cold inside, better to wear more clothes)

Average Asian grocery store with pretty good prices compared to some other grocery stores in Chinatown. They have a lot of produce especially Chinese vegetables. The place is pretty small and aisles are a little narrow so it can be a little difficult to get by people with your cart.

Huge selection of fruits, vegs and meats area. Not the same selection as HMart but much better prices for sure though I find Mings generally better. Seafood live and fresh in tanks. Extremely busy on weekend day time (I prefer Mings during this time)!CMart, Mings, HMart have some overlap but I find that they are compensating and complimentary to one another. I’d shop at both on a big grocery day and often find things that are readily available and better priced in one and then vice versa. Both are better priced than HMart for sure. CMart and Mings are across the street from each other and within 2 mins walk from whole foods and CVS. Combined, they have everything you’d need in one square.
