First off, I’m not from this location. I been to nicer stores in Texas, but this Big Lots isn’t organized. The store is a bit of a mess as well. Not to sound rude and all. Any Big Lots would have some amazing items, so I ended up with a cute corgi blanket. Original plan was to shop for Halloween items, but they haven’t restocked much. We just ended getting Christmas lights. Also, I wanted to point out and say that Big Lots is in a dead plaza. Most of the stores around Big Lots is out of business. I’m not sure if it appeal’s to customers or non-customers. Overall, I would come back for more items. 😊

I really dont understand how this store has a 4.3 rating. Aside from them constantly moving products around, and seeing spiders in the bathroom, the no air conditioning is probably the worst part. Its June and nearly 100 degrees. If I walk into a store I want nice and cold air to greet me. Insteas what greets me is the chance to have a heat stroke. I cant spend more than 5 minutes in there without having a hard time breathing. And the sweat. I might as well go to a sauna. But those poor employees. Not only are they constantly moving around but theyre wearing black which make them hotter. And theyre older people which is more of a risk. Do us all a favor and fix the air!!

I purchased a speaker to listen to my music while I cook for my kids, they have different sizes and cost variations. Only problem it was a long line, the cashier was doing her best and she stayed polite even with ppl who werent masked up, she reminded them it was for their health

The store has no air conditioning. And is hot as heck. As far as I know upper management isnt doing anything to get that fixed. I feel bad for the employees. And most of them are older in age. Dont agree with working your old employees like slaves.Also pretty sure its a health violation somewhere to be selling food stored at temperatures that high.

Love Big lots. Such a large selection of stuff. They have my favorite candy mallow cups. I love these things. But really Big Lots is cool. So much variety.

Amazing store and workers, but the air conditioning has been out for awhile. These poor workers having to work in the heat with no way of cooling off. This is really upsetting and very dangerous for the workers.

Lots of bargains. I was trying to pick out a trash can with a locking lid. They had a few to choose from. I think one of the workers came to see if maybe I was stealing a 13 gallon trash can. It was the way she came and looked around the corner just at me,, and then went back to stocking shelves 2 aisles over. That kinda irked me

Its a great store with great employees but management sucks and wont get the ac fixed and its way too hot in there. Makes me not wanna come back.

I were able to go in and buy the the Serta sheet set and pillow cases I seen online. The customer service from the cashier was great as well.

If I could give this place a zero star, I would honestly. The store is always empty, dusty, filthy, and boiling hot. The AC is there is not working, and I can tell the employees there are not in a very good work environment due to that and the management there. Working the employees to death in such conditions is something I had thought we gotten past, but who knows.

If I could leave negative stars, I would. The employees have to work in a building with NO AC SINCE LAST YEAR IN 100 DEGREE HEAT!!! THIS IS HORRIBLE!! Corporate should be ashamed to make their own people work like this. DONT SHOP HERE UNTIL THEY FIX IT!

Sad location in Bossier area had a bad first and only experience there

Was extremely disappointed all the way around with this place. My family and I were out trying to find a Christmas tree and had been out for hours with our two kids that were super excited. We checked out their website and saw that the website was showing that they had several different options and the website said that they were all available and in stock at the Bossier location so we leave yet another failed stop and were there in under 10 minutes. Checked the website again while getting the kids masked up and the website was still showing the trees available so the kids are officially excited and already talking about how they wanted to decorate it. So we find the display row of trees and multiple employees were all within earshot and heard my wife and I trying to figure out where the location was to get the tree that both kids actually agreed upon, yeah it was a full on sky split wide open there was a blinding light and freaking angels were singing because my kids agreed on something! (on a side note it was around 9:30PM) so we’re wandering around store trying to find tree boxes after circling the display area for a good 20 minutes and finally after passing the very same store employee for the 3rd talking about finding a Christmas tree I asked if they were keeping the tree boxes in the back and if so could they go and grab box “H”. The employee at that point after watching us pass by each time finally tells me that the boxes containing the trees were under the display shelves(there were no trees, no boxes, no anything) I wanted to do this 🤯🤬 after closing my eyes and counting down from 10 I then asked if we could purchase the one that was on display to which their reply was “no, we don’t do that” so if you’ve ever got something that you’re looking for and they show it in stock on their website and you’re really counting on it being there but you’ve also got a good solid hour of your life that you just want to totally waste while they’re employees are circling you like buzzards but won’t actually offer any assistance then this would be the best place to go in Bossier hands down!

They really need to fix the air in the store it is beyond hot and miserable in this store! Even the thermometers in the store show it’s almost 100 degrees in the store!!

Was looking for something so had to go to front cause no one was around to ask then they acted like they couldnt show you where just told you where but not a sign to say pool are like he told me it was cause pools was in one place the thing I was looking for was further down not even by pools. But they had about 6 people up front.

Multiple times i came here there were employees were more concerned about personal matters than customers. Most recently was chased out of the store by an employee who didnt agree with my political beliefs. Dont spend your money here they dont seem to care about the customer or the revenue. A nice store that has a little bit of everything. They have reasonable priced Christmas decorations. I got large scented candles for $5 each. They have stuff for the bathroom, kitchen and bedroom. They even have a little furniture. Great place to shop!

Store was clean and sparsely stocked. There are some handwritten signs that are not very noticeable that direct you to line up in a isle when checking out. Confusing and cashiers had to redirect several customers myself included to go line up otherwise we would be cutting in front of other customers hidden in line down the electronic isle. A customer ignored the signs and even when another customer informed him he was cutting in front of 3 of us. He ignored her and the cashier allowed him to check out... I will not shop at this location until they change the check out process.

Demeaned, embarrassed, and kicked out of a store I have shopped at for years over not having a mask with me. Treated as though I have leprosy when all I needed was some table salt. I shopped here a week ago...no issues, now all the sudden I get screamed at, de humanized in front of 20+ customers and refused service the one time I dont have my mask with me. When asked if they could provide one I was told we sell them sir, buy some. by the store manager...this is after the bald employee walked from the rear of the store through the front door with no mask on at all and the cashier yelling at me about one isnt even covering her face with it. But somehow Im to blame for this gross overreaction. Will never shop here again or at any biglots.Edit: Icing on the cake. I just found out due to my COPD I do not have to wear a mask to begin with.

Used to go to Big Lots because they were cheaper than big named competition. Theyre food products arent any cheaper than those guys now tho. Maybe even more. Friendly staff. Always check out fast. Selection ok. I only go now because its closer to my home. If they ever open another grocery store closer, Ill go there. In response to the guy that takes issue with the homeless guy that sleeps there, he hasnt ever even approached me. Usually doesnt even make eye contact. Why dont you throw the dude a loaf of bread and some tuna? Instead of running him from the only shelter he knows? No worries. I think your complaint may have worked. Judge not unless you have nothing to judge.

Clean, well stocked and friendly service. However, I do take issue with the homeless person that sleeps in front of the store. He has all of his worldly belongings in a Big Lots shopping cart next to him while he sleeps and eats near the door. My wife and kids are afraid to shop there. Sometimes hes aggressive.

AC does not work in store but employees are still smiling and doing there jobs hats off to them

It appeared to me you have a super team in the store located in Bossier City, LA. The manager even helped me to my car and assisted me in loading my merchandise in my car. I always like going into Big Lots...can usually find something I want or need. This particular store is nicely organized and neat making the experience all the better. The usual array of housewares, yard stuff, food and electronics.

You can find some good deals if you look for them in there. There is a pretty good selection of merchandise. I saw some great deals on bedding and bath. They had limited staffing.

This is a great store. All and I mean all employees are fantasic, (never had a bad experience with anyone). Great prices, fairly clean. I worry that its going to close now that all the big stores have left. It seems everything in the Hwy 80 area is closing.

I love BiGLots! They have my gallons of water only .88cents😁 with a BigLots card which takes 5 secs to get. They have the basic essentials u need in life with a cool inexpensive style!

The Bossier City store is clean, although understaffed. Call in your orders and choose curbside pickup for faster checkout.

Has something for anyone, and staff is very nice. And older store, but very good if youre in search for a grocery store that is on the cheaper side. They also sale furniture as well that is very high quality for a low price. Would reccomend.

Years ago Big Lots was the buyout leader, now its just become another retailer with its own product lines and no great deals.

I love Big Lots I always have a really cool stuff and its really cheap. Name brand things really nice decorations not cost you you know an arm and leg they carry bakeware furniture cooking items. They also have a lot of food that you can get really cheap but just like anywhere else you need to know your prices of items normal everyday items you get so you know whether its who what a deal or not I didnt notice that they were carrying Borden milk and milk products and a very reasonable price but still not as cheap as like buying the low brand at Walmart. The one on Texas Street in Bossier has an extensive food section including frozen foods and refrigerated. Theyre really nice people and very awesome they answer your questions they help you if you need it they dont bother you when youre running around looking at stuff shopping an all-around good place to go
