The manager is extra helpful and the employees are pretty friendly. Only thing is I live by myself and the freshness date isn’t long enough for me to finish the bottle of milk. Might have to look for another place to buy milk.

Their ice cream is the best but just dont get a root beer float any more. They now use (warm) cans of everyday root beer---only 8 oz instead of the bottles -- and with only one (small) scoop of ice cream, my ice cream was completely melted before I got only 1 mile home. A waste of $5+ dollars.

From Texas, accidentally stumbled across this place while killing some time. This place has fantastic shakes and Malts. If youre any where near one you should stop in and get some ice cream. I had to go 2 days in a row just because I was close by.

Delicious ice cream. Even better ice cold water! You have to experience this ice cream at the restaurant or immediately and not through door dash! Great, friendly service by the staff and Manager too! My husband and I are long time fans of this nighttime treat!

This was honestly one of my greatest experiences as an Oberweis connoisseur. The staff was great including Emma C, Danny, josh and Nicole. Overall it was a very pleasant experience and I’d love to come back to this fine establishment.

Soft serve was awful, wasnt cold enough to be put on a cone and it didnt taste good. My daughter just threw it away. She was disappointed. Chocolate peanut butter was delicious.

Went here a couple months ago and had a great experience. When I walked in, I was greeted by staff. After I ordered, Nicole brought my date and I our ice cream. She was very helpful, friendly, and we all had a pleasant conversation. We ordered a banana split (upon recommendation) which tasted fresh and sweet. The place was also very clean and equipped to prevent the spread of the coronavirus. Overall a great experience!

I got the regular Oreo Frostbite and boy, was I happy. The amount of ice cream you get is insane and its extremely creamy and delicious. Oberweis is always a stop of ours when we are in the Chicago area. Love love love this place!

Our experience at oberweis icecream was delightful . we got Mint chocolate chip and Cookies & Cream icecream which was delicious. We were served by Vivi, Evelyn, Josh, Brooklyn, Kendall and shayna they were the friendliest staff. The manager Nick was very kind and professional, I highly recommend coming here if you want to have quality icecream and staff!

This ice cream place used to be one of the best for me before I tried michoacanas. However, I have become lactose intolerant, so for a while I was unable to go to this place. When my sister noticed that they have sorbet options, I decided to jump at the chance and try this place again. I ordered a raspberry sorbet the other day, and it was pretty good. However, the prices are a bit High. While we enjoy the customer service as the employees are very nice, I dont know if we would come here too often. There are other places with cheaper prices and better tasting ice cream.

Just went in yesterday and it was such a splendid visit. The ice cream was very delicious and the crew working, from what I remember Josh Vivi and Danny, made the experience even better. Definitely will be coming back soon!

Been coming to this place for a few months & loved it! My fav is their brownie sundae :) Great & clean environment. I know all of the staff is very helpful, but there’s new girl named Vivi, she’s so kind! I’ll be coming back soon!

I went there for a little late night snack and was welcomed by Vivi and Evelyn. They were so personable and seemed like they really knew and liked what they were doing! 11/10 would recommend and go again!

Went here with my boyfriend for the first time and we got the turtle sundaes ! the ice cream was delicious, staff was so friendly and this worker Vivi was so so patient with us and very sweet. Highly recommend and def will come back again !

I ordered the ultimate latte, caramel. It was pretty awesome. But it was only lukewarm 😕. I decided not to bother the clerk because my experience with lattes at chain coffee+ (donuts, ice cream, etc) shops is that the latte machine is hard to operate and I didnt want to wait if she was going to have to ask for help. The coffee flavor was pretty ultimate, even if not hot 😊.

The place was fairly empty and we made our order, got a number on a wire stand, and sat at a table near the register. A small group ordered after us and got their order. An individual then came in, ordered, and got their order. A couple more minutes pass and this continues; there are only 3 other tables occupied so it is not busy. So I go up and asked about our order, show them the receipt, and point out the number sitting on our table... they lost our order and forgot about the number they gave us. They promptly made the order but offered no reconciliation for us waiting 30 mins. It was disappointing. The ice cream was good though and the place was clean.

We had a great experience with our family. We went there after a school band concert and there was a flood of families coming to get dessert. The staff was super composed, polite, and provided wonderful service. Everyone enjoyed their ice cream in a great family atmosphere. We will definitely return. Keep up the great job!

Typical neighborhood Oberweis- and I mean that in the best way. The employees are welcoming: they smile at kids and arent gruff when the kids take a few extra seconds to make their choice or when they make a mess at the tables. Ive seen the employees talking directly to the kid instead of just the parent, which makes the child feel more welcome. The only problem I have is that when kids do make a mess, the family leaves and then it takes a while to have the tables cleaned- but thats probably due to the waves of customers slamming them, so it would be nice if they had a dedicated cleaner per shift- no matter how busy it gets.

Most people go there for the ice cream, I go there for the milk and lemonades. I love the store and the staff but I think the icecream is very much overpriced! Doenst mean I wouldnt indulge once ina while tho... lol

Will always love the ice cream but service is always lack luster. In just about every visit (3/4 visits maybe) there has been a lot of staff behind the counter and yet.... Dirty tables, dirty dishes next to the trash can, dirty windows, and dirty doors to there milk cooler. And to get 3 orders of 1 scoop a piece in a cup would take almost 10 minutes even if we are the only customers in the store. How are they still in business with all these employee hours with no customers to serve?

Only okay. Got a strawberry malt and a scoop in a waffle cone. The server misheard and kept trying to put the scoop in a cup. The malt had very little flavor other than blank ice cream, not so much strawberry or malt. But at least they had their migraine-level fluorescent lights blaring away, as all Oberweises must always do.

Well...I ordered 2 scoops of ice cream and a coffee, she asked me about #of scoops for coffee, confused, I repeated my order. When ice cream came..I got my 2 scoops (chocolate PB) and 2 scoops of coffee ice cream. Told her what order should be.... eventually I got my coffee to drink. This was Saturday after thanksgiving, about 1 - 2 pm.

Ive actually been disappointed the last few times Ive been there. It seems like the ice cream scoop is getting smaller and smaller, but the cost keeps going up and up. The last few times I was there, I actually didnt care for the ice cream - and thats a sad, sad day when someone doesnt care for Oberweis IC.😐

Bought a $30 cookies and cream cake, but it was nothing to write home about. I was disappointed. I like to support small business, but DQ cakes are better. I havent tried anything else from here, so their other items could be better.
