HORRIBLE SERVICE! NEVER GOING BACK!My father and I went in looking for a few things. Our total came out to about $8. We handed the cashier a $20 dollar bill. We received our change and only got $2 back. So we went and asked him about the rest and he tells us it was $10 that we handed him. And we kept telling him it wasn’t and that if he could check the cameras and he kept refusing.

I went today for wiper blades, the young lady behind the counter came over told me the size i needed and explained benefits of the various ones, friendly professional and installed. All done in about 15 minutes. Thank you!

This is my first stop whenever any of our automobiles have to be serviced. Always have exactly what I need.

The computer system was having hiccups several months ago, and again when I went most recently. Other than those occasions, they are really good, attentive, knowledgeable people working there.

One employee there has absolutely no clue what hes doing and I ALWAYS get stuck with him🤦‍♂️

The best auto parts store ever

I always just seem to get the wrong part pulled or a product that says it’s a right fit for my vehicle, but then when I go to install it, it’s the wrong part. It just doesn’t make any sense because they ask you every thing about the car, information wise. Just frustrating and seems to only happen at Bolingbrook.

Cashiers can usually help you find what youre looking for or look it up on their computers by the make and model of your car. Even if you dont know anything about cars they can help you.

One of the younger workers was very helpful and professional, however, some older lady with glasses that works until close was very rude and condescending when I just asked if they would sell me a product with the online price (some stores do that, you know). All she had to say was no...didnt have to be extra and say well thats the point of buying it online. Very unnecessary. Never going back here.

Very bad customer services. Not recommended to go there. There’s a big bully guy named JB or BJ. Stay away from him. Stay away from this store because he treated stores customers in front of a stored supervisor and he’s done nothing. When you ask him a question, he might beat you up outside at the store parking lot. I want to give it no star. I came for my simple battery prices comparison but I left without any info. When he wrote down a part number, he kept mumbling about “writing down is not in his job description ” and “ he’s still got his job by next morning”. After 2 mincomplaining about customer waiting behind me and writing part number on the paper, he just torn it up without hand it to me. It’s might be an essential store to be open right now, but it’s got no support from me. Good luck BJ. He might got this job still or a next door store, but he’s still a low life to me-/-

I was simply trying to make a return that I made at the Romeoville store and I had a receipt but Becky that tried to help me was rude from the beginning. Immediately tried to argue with me that this was an online order and tried to confuse me to get me to go back to the original store to return the product even though it was out of my way. Every year I buy less at Advance and more from their competitor bc they mistreat you and like to play that game. They don’t take customers serious and have forgotten that we have Amazon and EBay plus the other parts stores to buy from.

First lady taking care of me was less than enthused to help me, then had to give her my car info a second time when I was ready to purchase. Another employee was more helpful and offered to install, even though he was on his way home.

Other times Ive been here the staff has been very nice. Tonight I asked for something very simple and the girl helping me wasnt helpful at all. I had my 2yr old daughter and she didnt offer to help me figure out which one was the product I needed like the staff had done in the past.

Good place to stop in for quick items, oil wiper blades batteries, lights etc. They let you pull up in front & install some parts for you no charge. They have been helpful anytime I’ve been there.

Guys are great here. Sometimes a bit short on staff, but I get it. They are always friendly and will walk the store to find the right items. They ring you up quickly and are professional.

My alternator died on a very hot day. I did it there in the parking lot. Staff was super helpful in helping me get the parts I needed and even gave me a bottle of water.

Had to make a pitstop here to have some codes read a while back. Any Advance location I have visited has always been a pleasant experience, and this one was no exception. My go-to parts store.

There was 4 people working and the line was long. Instead of taking care of immediate customers, they were putting stuff on the shelves. I was always taught to take care of the person who is front of you and hold off on the other stuff. Then the line gets down to only me waiting and the girl finally says I can help whoever is next while she is looking directly at me lol all I could do it shake my head at her as I put my merchandise on the counter then walked out

Manger Micheal is ignorant. He made several excuses to get me out of the store and not accept the return.I was in the store at 8:55pm, store closes at 9pm. First he wasted time while gossiping with other customer, then said cant accept the return as its over 9pm. Then he told me I wasted 2 minutes by not putting parts on the table. (I am like are you serious). Then said part is longer because its stronger (outer tie rod end). Its a exact fit for the car. Can you believe it? Ignorant as heck. And had employee on one of the desk with MacDonalds uniform. Hate this store now!

It used to be a very helpful store, now its always an issue and no help whatsoever every time Ive gone.

Big selection of course. A little pricier than Wal-Mart for staple items. But no one can beat Wal-Mart. Visit on a monthly basis for some reason or another. Never dissatisfied

If you know what you need, this is a good spot. If you dont know what you need, Im not sure Id trust everything they say here. While the staff I dealt with was very nice and accomodating, they didnt diagnose my problem correctly costing me a ton of time waiting for a tow truck I didnt end up needing. If they had tested the battery properly, I could have just replaced that rather than waiting a day for a tow where that tech then told me I actually DID need a battery. He ended up installing it instead of the staff inside. I may come back here for something simple like wiper blades but not for anything else.Ps, they dont replace batteries after sundown for liabilty reasons. Convenient that the sun goes down at like 6:30 this time of year :(

I feel charging the battery does not make sense as eventually I will need a battery. The employee said the meter did not read bad battery so therefore, I was not entitled to a battery replacement. Surly, the employee s incorrect and does not think because Im a woman that Im stupid. Im not in the habit of removing a car battery and certainly do not wish to drive to get a battery charged and wait two hours which could be often.. Really, what good is a warranty if it isnt honored
