My experiences with DXL have been mostly pleasant, with a handful of staff that are highly attentive and dedicated to ensuring you leave in clothes that fit well and look great. You want to start there at around size 46 as under that they will have difficulty helping you, especially with how understocked everyone is right now on fine business and event clothing. There is no longer an in-store tailor so be prepared to have alterations made elsewhere. If you are a masculine shaped individual on the larger side, this might be just the place you need.

The store was beautiful and inviting. The sales associate was marvelous. I really want to visit every week. It’s a relief my 2XL shirts were not “slim fits” like I find in other stores. My only complaint was one of the shirts I wanted to bring home was out of stock in the color I wanted. But hey, no biggie. They’re shipping it to me and it’s already on the way having shopped just yesterday. Great store!

Having shopped in womens clothing stores my whole life, let me just say the shopping experience here is above and beyond! a wide selection of excellent clothing, and really good employees that always seem to know what theyre talking about! Ive never regretted a trip here

Very helpful staff, clean facilities, and reasonable prices as far as big and tall stores go.

Although I was not able to get fully measured due to COVID regulations (perfectly understandable!) the employees were immensely helpful and nice, and I was able to find a good belt and shirt for my trouble.

My fiancée has found some really nice button down shirts that I love and Emmalie has been very much helpful with dress pants that dont have a baggy look that are straight fitted.Theyre very expensive, but he can afford clothes that are comfortable!

Shopping for my dad, in an unusual scenario, and the employees were ready to help and so understanding with our questions giving us thourough explanations of some options we had. Then explained their return policy upfront, (which will work well for us, should we need it) to ease our worries as we purchased several items for my dad that we often have a difficult time finding his size. My mom said prices compared so much better than the store they used to go to, years ago, for the Big and Tall catergorized clothes. They carry many recognized brands, and I loved the varieties of color as well as the mix of traditional and modern styles.

The DXL representarives are always courteous and very helpful. Aimee and Abby are the best. The store is always clean, organized and with an enticing aroma that wecomes you when you enter the building. Good job, keep going!

Samantha has been the best! They always have a great selection and can order in your size or color if not available in store. Very friendly atmosphere. High quality clothes for big guys. Not cheap but with the coupons they put out it can be very affordable.

If youre a big guy and struggle to find clothes this is the place to go. They carry a wide variety of big and tall mens clothes including dress clothes. And while you may think that youd have to settle with off brands, thats not the case at all. They carry a significant amount of well known brand name clothes. They even offer an in shop tailoring service. I do however have a few bones to pick. For one, some of their prices are too high, $40 for a graphic tee shirt. A second point to go with the first is that when you pay such a premium, the quality should match, but they dont. Ive gotten better quality clothes for less. Finally theres location. Its not too difficult to get in and out of the lot, but its easy to pass by. I think they may do better in the Mall.

I have a lot of anxiety around clothes shopping because of my weight but the employees here have always made me feel welcome and have always been helpful. Its the only place clothes shopping doesnt feel horrible

DXL is a great store for the big and tall. I shop their because Im tall and they have the clothes that fit well. Everything from shoes to belts to shirts, pants and shorts. The staff is helpful and attentive to your needs. Big or Tall youll find it a DXL

Weve been there several times looking for particular colors or styles and they are great at putting together color combos and they are more than willing to try lots of options until you find the right look. They have a good selection and if you dont know your measurements they can handle that too.

DXL Big and Tall has a great variety of clothing for guys. Anything you need in clothes is available here. The staff knows how to serve you and always suggests excellent combination. They will make you look great!

WOW! So much selection to choose from! Staff there was extremely helpful. Being tall It can be hard to find clothes to fit me! I always need tall in shirts and jeans or suits this store had it all. So nice to be able to go back into a store vs. having to order online! I think its the only store that offers clothes in larger sizes!

Absolutely fantastic service! My boyfriend was in dire need of a new suit for my cousin’s wedding and he loathes shopping, especially when its clothing for himself. He literally doesn’t buy anything in-store because of his unique size (56L in a blazer) and dreads stuff like this. But the saleswoman that helped us was phenomenal!She wasn’t pushy, had great sense of humor and knew what to look for and ask us, never tried to make us buy anything additional that we didn’t need, knew his style immediately, she was perfect! Highly recommend going here.After going to 2 other stores prior and having zero help or luck, our experience here was a massive relief for us both and it didn’t end up being an all evening endeavor. Love the DXL on Jefferson Rd. David was AMAZING, he helped us with everything from shirts, to jeans to a sport coat. The staff was completely professional and so willing to assist. As soon as we walked in the door we were greeted and asked if there was anything specific we were looking for. As soon as we told the person she referred us to David, again he was completely amazing. No pressure at all, but was there if we had questions.DXL is the only store around Rochester that carries a great collection of tall clothes. Other places have a big and tall section but the choices are limited and the looks are junk! DXL is our go to place for dress clothes for my husband.

Curtious helpful staff, have the sizes I need as a bigger guy. Prices are on the high side but so is the quality of the product. Free complementary water bottle. One negative is copious amounts of perfume in the air.
