I highly recommend Techniauto. Fernando is a great mechanic and an honest man. When my sons 2000 GTIVR6 completely stopped on I95, there was water and oil leaking. We were fearful the motor was completely gone. I was in New York at the time so I asked for a worse case scenario price (total engine rebuild) before we got started. However, Fernando said lets go one step at a time. To my good fortune, there were some intricate parts under the manifold that failed, a camshaft sensor, thermostat, oil pan and seals etc. One step at a time Fernando got our car up and running smoothly with no leaks at half the price! We will praise him whenever possible. Thank you Fernando, it is refreshing to work with a man of integrity.
Fernando is a brilliant mechanic, terrific person and can do just about any car. I consider myself VERY lucky to have found him!!! Highly recommended times a million:)
Went in for an oil change in my VW and was done within 45 minutes. Ended up patching a small nail hole in one of my tires also, during the general inspection. Asked if I wanted to replace the cabin air filter, but at 4x the cost of buying myself, I declined. Great experience, would recommend.
Fernando is an awesome guy. I have never had a mechanic take out my filters and show them to me. He also stands behind his work and offers a warranty, which I have found to be unusual in the auto repair business. Thanks again Fernando!
Terrible, I called for an estimate, mind you I can fix just about anything with my car but I am without the tools, and someone this guy starts b.s with the labor time which is nowhere close and additional items which is NOT! Needed for my requested repair. So hard to find honest people. Now having never been there I cant comment on workmanship.
I have been through 5-8 mechanics from Delray Beach, fl to Sunrise, fl. by far This is the only place i can truly trust with my Audi. The head mechanic is a really good guy who knows his craft, and explains the problems with you. Im confident even if im to move out of Boca Ill continue to come here for service. 1000% supporter of this place!!!
I had a great experience here with repairs. They worked on my 2008 VW GTI and all we ended up doing was an oil change and associated filters. I also had an issue with a burned out headlight. They were able to replace the lamp for me at a very inexpensive cost considering how much time they spent to do it, had to remove whole front bumper to get at the back of the headlight. They even invited me out to the garage to show how they leveled the headlight and let me provide input. All in all, very friendly, both behind the counter and in the shop. I didnt have major repairs done, but I got a quote for some Ill eventually need and will definitely go back to have them done there. Thanks guys
I have been taking my car there for the last 3 years. Fernando and the family are great to me and always give me an honest price. 10/10!
I own and drive expensive cars. Yesterday I took my Ferrari Spider into Techniauto, which I stumbled on by chance earlier this year, and Fernando fixed me up - he is definitely the man for ALL types of cars and a man to be trusted, which is rare in this business - I absolutely recommend him!
I chose Techniauto for my Eurovan! And I am so glad I did! Fernando was a dream to work with for a project that took 6-7 weeks to accomplish due to my preference for a transmission from California and my work related traveling. The repairs are complete and well done. And he did it at a reasonable price.Heres the story:My Eurovan Westfalia Weekender (2001) needed a new transmission/transaxle. The cause was lack of preventive maintenance due to the advice of VW!!! VW insists that the the trans should never receive an oil change. Well after 14 years of begging many VW service managers to dump the transmission fluids, the oil sure nuff burned up and destroyed the trans.I elected to purchase a transmission from GoWesty in California and have it shipped to Florida. Their warranty is 48 months compared to the VW factorys 12 months, and they provide a DRAIN HOLE(!) in the trans to facilitate the change of fluids. The next decision was who to install it. The local VW dealer assistant service mgr did not give any sincere acknowledgement that the old trans (core) would be shipped back correctly to GoWesty and always refused to let me talk to the mechanic using one excuse after another.I saw nice reviews when I googled and found TechniAuto.I called Fernando and discussed all the logistics of what I would need. He admitted he had little experience with Eurovans (but neither do the VW dealers in Fla...) but assured me he had access to manuals and would follow GoWestys instructions which included an additional oil cooler, the TCU (Transmission Control Unit) installation and re-shipping the core.He did this without me being around to oversee the receipt of the valuable transmission or the reshipping of the old one (also valuable: I had to deposit a significant $$$ amount refundable by GoWesty upon proper receipt of the core)I cant compliment Fernando enough for being so trustworthy, competent and following through exactly as he said he would. He also found Michelin Defender tires with a load factor higher than the ones I had at a great price. Thats called integrity in my book....
Omg they saved my life ! my car broke downon highway because of the alternator etc. I really had to fix it next day so my car wouldnt shut down again. I took my car in the morning knowing that I had to call off work and sit and wait until my car gets all the work done as normally I go to mechanic (since I normally have no rides), but they were so nice to take me to work and pick me at work and my car is ready to go! I didnt have to take off from work !!They did awesome job on my car and now my car isnt making noises and running great ! thank you!!!
Excellent Service quality and customer relations.
Fernando is the man.
