I have used Last Chance for over 15 years. Bill is knowledgeable and helpful. He will install your parts or his. Its basically like doing business with your family, only this guy is SUPER HONEST!! I read the one negative comment on this site, and it is definitely not a fair representation of who these people are. In particular, your comment about appearances shows your shallow approach to relationships. Bill is gem! All who know him recognize how lucky we are to have Last Chance here in Boca.

I had a problem with the shift linkage on my 2003 GMC Envoy and Last Chance Garage was recommended to me. I called and spoke with the owner, Bill Stenroos and told him of my problems. He told me to bring him the car and I had it towed to his shop. 45 mins later he called with an estimate and it was extremely reasonable. I had Googled my issue so I had a rough idea of what people were paying and his estimate was extremely fair. I told him I needed the vehicle as soon as possible because I am a karaoke host and use it to haul my sound equipment for my shows.It was done by 3:00 and the price was exactly what he quoted. First class work too! I strongly recommend Last Chance Garage.

This place should not even be your Last Choice. I took my car in for a starter and ignition switch. Mechanic calls me before starting the job, stating total would be $500 and change. I asked him specifically, Is this the total. He said yes. Time to pick up my car, and the mechanic has a bill for $770! They tried to double bill for the tow truck (I paid a totally separate business for the tow), and then he says that he never stated total would be $500 and change. I got the owner involved, who stated, so you only want to pay $500? Should I un-install the starter or the ignition? I laughed and said You should stay true to what your mechanic quoted, and if you do not trust your team to price accurately, you should make all final estimates yourself. After 30 minutes of arguing my point, the owner begrudgingly charged me $520. Just a very shady, deceptive garage, where one hand doesnt seem to know what the other is doing. And the owner really does not care about his customers. Instead of saying what should I un-install, he should have said what can I do to fix this? I think I scared him too, when I said I would post all over the internet about my experience. Unprofessional and deceptive, bait and switch! Take your car anywhere else! And all of the guys who work here, including the owner, look like scary homeless people!

So Im a student at FAU boca campus, and I drive all the way from Fort Lauderdale. My car decided to crap out on me at the campus, so I called this place for help. They sent out a tow truck immediately for a decent price, and Bill took great care of me. He told me the problem with my car, and was completely understanding of my situation. He offered me very good prices to fix 2 coils in my car, but I had my car towed home the day after since my brother can fix it at no cost. So even though I did not have my car fixed with him (which I would have if i didnt have a brother who could fix it), he did an amazing thorough job diagnosing the problem and made sure I was well taken care of, and he trusted me with coming back to pay him another day because he understood my financial and transportion situation. I highly reccomend Bill to anyone with car problems c:
