The staff is excellent and thats the only reason they are getting any stars. 50% of the parking is pay to park. If it werent for the staff it would be 1 star.

Its sad that charge you to park and what do they really have to offer in exchange? The restaurant has been closed for close to a year. The only food you can get is off of the stores shelf.

Of all the Truck Stops out there TAs are my least favorite..absolutely the worst.They are a giant rip off to Truck Drivers.... over half of parking spaces are reserved & cost $20.00 for a 10 hour break...ridiculous and greedy....like they dont make enough money on fuel & amenities.Only in desperate situations do I stay & today was just that...trailer tire flat/repair $570.00 & then $20.00 for parking because ELD clock ran out ...no profit on todays work😡😡😡

The restaurant is STILL closed! For real…. No hot food except dried out hotdogs. The place is dirty. To add insults at least half the lot is reserved parking and over priced to boot.

A national emergency was declared yesterday. Today, the state of IL ordered all bars and restaurants closed. The TA in Bloomington responded by raising the price of thier pre-packaged sandwiches to almost $6. They are normally about $4.29. This summer when they start declaring how much they appreciate truck drivers, remember this and tell em what to do with thier appreciation.

They unhooked my batteries to test them and reinstall wires battery wire shorten out and spark my engine light came on they say they didnt do anything wrong want more money to check codes

Shop employee was so lazy to work on a tire change so he decided to lie to my office and send fake photo of the tire. I understand he made money by the hour just moving air and drink soda for couple of hours and was so smart to do so. Loves down the road did a great job so never come back to this place.

When I arrived all the pumps I think there were eight of them were blocked by trucks sitting there on their break running and not getting any fuel. I pulled behind a truck pulled ahead of the pump he was the only one pulled ahead of the yellow line. After a few of my truck I had to back out of the pump because my reefer authorization canceled itself and the driver still had not returned to the truck to move it even after I had him paged. Why are people allowed to take their lunch break at the pump?

Best TA shop Ive been to in some time. Kyle and Seth were great. Seth did an awesome job with the service on my truck. Very professional, more than competent, polite and respectful. Shop was clean and tidy.

Great place to get a meal.Jeane is on top of her game with no help in restuarant however paying $2.06 for small coffee and blocking off half their parking lot for paid parking is nothing but greed and to think we bought fuel here.

Towed my car when I gave a manager my car make and license plate and phone number if there were any problems now I have to pay a towing fee Im there every week Im sure me and everyone else there is probably not going to give them any more business after that could have moved the cars to the spot that wasnt being done but nope plenty more trucking places to go in bloomington

Diesel pumps not working 5:30am. No warning, obviously they dont care.

I was yelled at, downgraded and humiliated in front of several truckers from the Male cleaning person.... I spoke with the sweetest cashier and gave her the information ( while in tears) and she said shed speak to the manager about it.I dont think Ive ever been treated so bad in my life... Being a truck driver I will be letting our Fleet know about what type of service the male staff member gives to customers...

Very interesting truck stop. Has a small game room inside and must get permission to enter and it also has showers for truckers who have been on the road for long hours. I was very intrigued and wanted to see the showers but did not have time. Great customer service as well.

Way to many paid parking. I will spend my $500 in fuel and $20 for food where I dont have to pay for parking.

This is a nice TA. Lots of parking and you can almost always find a spot even later in the night... Even if you have to pay for it, it is great being able to park after a long hard day and youre in the need for sleep. The Country Pride does a good job. All few meals I had there were good. The showers are nice too. This is a 5 star truck stop for the cleanliness, the food, the parking, and the clean and hot showers. Good job TA! This is one of your best ones.

Lots of parking. Nice showers. Old towels. Cranky employees. Although not all of them are there’s a couple that are happy. Not so clean truck stop. The shop is good. However you might have to wait a while. I love T/A truck stops but this one isn’t my favorite. I choose the Pilot down the street.

I go out of my way to frequent FULL SERVICE TRUCK STOPS (T/A and Petro ).. Shutdown here last night only to find County Pride was not only not open but was CLOSED FOR GOOD.... . .One more off the list. Very sad to see another one go.

Very nice ta. Not much room to pull up at the fuel islands but other than that, its good. Plenty of fuel islands and a decent amount of truck parking. Restrooms and showers are very clean.

I purchased fruit 2 for 5.00. Got back to truck and left opened up the grapes from this location and they were molded as you got down a few thats where the mold was. However the other I purchased was cantaloupe and it seemed to be fine. So be cautious when buying fresh fruit or what you think to be fresh fruit at this location.

Its alright. Clean restrooms. Restuarant isnt open 24 hours and the hot food on the roller grill is limited at night. If youre looking to eat late at night find somewhere else. If all you need is fuel and a restroom this is a good friendly place to stop.

Always able to get in and out in a timely manner,,, except of course for those fellers who have never figured out what that 70 space is for in front of the fuel island, and the ones who take a shower, eat,and do a little shopping while parked on the fuel island, and probably didnt even buy fuel.. but, hey, theyre everywhere nowadays !! What a joke at the shop I sing in at 5 pm for a wheel seal on my trailer they tell me in about an hour we will get you in I waited 2 hours and nothing happens I give them another hour and nothing again so I came in and they tell me in like an hour that hour fly away and nothing again, I came in again and they said in a few minutes I’ll call you, I waited and finally call me in bay #1 so the technician look at it and I went to the sleeper I fall to sleep and I wake up at 2:30 after 10 hours and guess what they never touched, I ask the lady and a guy what’s going on is it done? They said no I was going to take it apart to find out if we got the part here or you need to wait until tomorrow, what f wait 10 hours for this? And if I don’t wake up they never said something, that’s unbelievable what unprofessional people in there they don’t care if you stay longer or whatever

Its pretty bad when youre parked at a truck stop and the restaurant is closed and you have to find another restaurant to deliver food to the TA in Bloomington Illinois.

900 pay to park spaces and no food service. I wonder if it bothers them to charge for parking and offer no amenities Covid 19 or not. Other places in town are open for I door dining. Crooks.

Needs to open the Country Pride back up.SOONThis way drivers don’t have to traipse on foot fir fifteen minutes to go find something substantial to eat.

Generally speaking I have no complaints, but today I am disappointed that the cook is unable to make mashed potatoes, looked like dehydrated leftovers with a splash of over thick gravy, reminds me of the hashbrowns at McDonalds but chopped up and dried. Pot roast dinner served with steamed veggies on one side of plate, and a hunk of beef on the other side, not even stirred together like a real pot roast is supposed to be. Then its brought to the table as if its a grand slam cuisine that everyone is standing in line to get.

TA is Awesome. Ive been a TA patron since I was very young. My Dad was a Truck driver for some years. Now I use TA when I Travel. They have a little bit of everything. Food,drink, Light Bulbs for your truck n RV,soveneirs clean restroom n showers, laundry machines game rooms n Lounge n much more. So when you want to Travel stop at a TA ( Travel America ). Great Place with friendly staff.

Stopped in with a broken shock. Have shock in hand and they were too busy to help a guy out. 3 guys sitting at the counter and NO TRUCKS in any of the bays. What a waste of 10 minutes of my ELD clock.

Biggest part from truck spots are reserved. At 10 PM most from those spots were empty. I guess not many truckers willing to pay to have a rest after long day. Probably TA not making enough money from fuel. Next step from TA can be makes restrooms payable. I gave 2 stars because I got last free spot.

The shower water didnt drain, i dressed in a puddle of water.. the air vent didnt circulate air so it was hot in the tiny bathroom.. one of the worse ta showers i have been to .. on a good note the people working there was great...

Wow. I didnt think there would ever be a major truck stop like this in one of the busiest, truck heavy states. Im pretty sure more than half of the spots are reserved. TA can take all those reserved spots and stick it where the sun dont shine. Smh.

😇really need a Country Pride youre in South Carolina Lowcountry this is not a fast food area when people come through this area they want some good southern cooking find some local Cooks and return this place to its original Glory! Remember Jerrys 76 people used to go there for Thanksgiving dinner😇

My husband and I took our reset here. We had our truck serviced, did laundry, showered, and had 3 meals in the restaurant. Everything was great, quick service, hot shower and clean facilities. The area is quiet and there is plenty of nice grassy areas for the doggies.

I love this place. Very good food. Very good service. Great beer selection. as Of recently though it seems that the quality of staff has declined. Had a very rude waitress last night. Very pushy and demanding. I almost wondered who was the customer and who was the server.

We had dinner there on our vacation. We had the best waitress & she was very friendly. She made the best sweet tea, which thats my thing, a good sweet tea. She was able to talk to use for awhile since it wasnt to busy. I wish there all waitresses were as sweet as her. We will be back again.

Iowa 80 - great buffet and food court. All kinds of hard to find truck driver items. I just bought a small winch bar that i could not find elsewhere. They even have a dentist here. I love this place.

The ta as usual has ample truck parking. Plenty of room for maneuvering a tractor trailer into parking spaces. Staff is friendly and smile allot. Currently many things you could use in your big truck are on sale. Like the 19 inch tv/dvd combo for $139.Has a country pride restaurant inside and as always with the country pride there prices are crazy high. But it beats fast food.

I give them a 5 star on their showers. The machine that gets the shower ticket, gets a 1 star. It needs improved / fixed or at least 2 of them. They are hard to cycle through and you have to push the button more than 3 times to even move forward. I get discouraged when I want to shower due to their process. The store gets a 4 star. Not a lot of different choices to choose from when it comes to hot foods. As a trucker, we like burgers. Ready to go. A lot would agree when I say, hotdogs can get over rated fast. Customer service gets a 5 star. Polite, clean, and friendly. Over all, please fix the shower machines !! Merry Xmas !!

Its the best in town. Not saying much as the only other truck stop is a Pilot. Be nice if there was a Flying J with a Dennys or a Huddle House nearby. This TA no longer has a 24 hr restaurant which sucks for those of us that run at night. Still a good stop.

Do NOT come to this place for service. The mechanic guy who was working on my truck drained my oil and told me to wait until drain is complete. But after 3 hours later, I found him in the waiting room while he was watching TV. I got late from next delivery for 4 hours. Due to that I had to pay late penalty. It took them 4 hours to change JUST oil. I wonder how long it will take them to do other services?laziest employee of the year will go to that mechanic!!!!

Food tasted good; however, we got pancakes instead of toast & WOW worlds smallest pancakes!! Then they put a drop of gravy on our omlete so we asked for more & got charged $2 for a cup of gravy! Never will eat at this over priced TA again!

Talk about fast service, my driver waited only a half an hour as a walk in had diagnose in .5.. Best off site service yet!

Stopped for fuel and PM SERVICE at 9pm ... most of the truck parking spaces were $$ and vacant .. all free spots were occupied .. shop bays were open but I opted to depart with the $300 their shop could have earned. Parking fees indicate greedy management and our freedom of choice ultimately puts the cost on them.

Its super clean and has a restaurant that was pretty good. It also has a souvenir shop which was pretty well priced. Totally recommend. Especially if driving alone at night.

As a long time professional traveler that has been stopping there for decades, my last visit was a disappointment. The entire place was in need of a good cleaning and updating. The food was very overpriced and only marginally acceptable. The service was not good. The server was not rude or anything of the sort but just not really into the whole serving thing. Sad to see a truck stop restaurant like that. I might stop again just to see if I was there on a bad night. If you have a choice of other places, I would recommend you go to them.

The truck service is absolutely abhorrent. To give you a perspective came there for flat trlr tire which took over 6 hrs to fix despite the fact that they didn’t have any excuse of being busy with other customers. Very poor n incompetent customer service as well as truck service. Don’t waste your precious time there in the event of truck repair including tire service.

Showers are good. But I wish they had more selection of food inside the truck stop because Im the type of person to eat and run I really dont want to go into Country Pride to sit down to eat. But otherwise this place is cool.

Great hustling by the mechanics on My truck repair. $ll0 labor/hour, BUT fast tho.And there is a Frieghtliner parts warehouse there, for easy parts for Your Truck.

Ordered a new burger the jalapeno one. Couldve used a little more heat but otherwise was very good. Can definitely recommend the food. The restrooms were not the cleanest. Parking for semi is pretty plentiful.

Cashier was pleasant, even though I asked a stupid question. (She did look at me like I was stupid though). But, I figure I earned that. Was able to get in and out quickly, restroom was clean and I would have given the place five stars had they not priced Windex over $7. Just because I am at a truck stop doesnt mean I intend to get pegged.

Cassie at the restaurant was very kind. Hope to find My way here again sometime. Enjoyed out talk about mastiffs.

This place y old yet well cared for, its the reason for only 2 stars is that for spring, summer, and fall it is always swarming with bees. Nature is Nature true, but up the interstate at the rest area its all clear. Bees do get attracted to areas that have open dumpsters, so if you park anywhere near the shop you will get stung. Other than that its a nice spot for a driver.

We picked our son up from a training at great lakes naval base near Chicago and planned on a 25 hour drive to meet family. Little did we know, the training was intense up to the last day and our son didnt get to take a shower prior to graduation.Well, my father in law is a truck driver and has always told us that TA has super clean showers. We googled and found that the TA in Bloomington was right on our route. We called ahead, explained our situation, and asked about a shower. I know the showers are normally reserved for drivers, but they told us no problem and to stop in when we get there.I could not believe the level of customer service. They took care of our son and we are so appreciative. It is obvious that TA cares deeply about our troops. And from the cleanliness of the showers, they obviously care about their drivers too. They were a life saver.

Needs better signage so an out-of-towner can tell how to get to it. Also, no fuel for cars; this is a truck stop only.

Great experience here, I had my truck serviced and they gave me a 15.00 voucher for a meal in the diner. Food was good to, waitress very kind. It can improve on appearance overall but my experience was great.

Sad looking salad bar last night. There around 8 pm. Thought it was because they close around 11 pm. But after we ate we noticed that they were bringing out some fresh items.

Had a great supper. ALSO the service was great very good waitress which was a refreshing change.

We love stopping here on a regular basis. Our very favorite waitress Diana takes mighty good care of us. Weve had tires replaced in the shop here and all the help are friendly. Also weve had pizza delivered from Monicals in Normal.

Typical t/a ... Mediocre cleanliness, help is friendly but never has much good to say about corporate. Prices for everything in store is over priced. Everythings prices are going up but wages arent. Guess thats why I only buy fuel there and nothing else. Other than that this place is awesome

They have a great menu. They have pie. They have a salad bar. They have good pricing. My chicken was not done and still bleeding. But they did comp the check.

Typical truck stop. Signs say you deserve this that and the other but they dont deliver. Restrooms were fair but one soap dispenser was out for over 12 hours. Customer service is fair. Employees are friendly and seem sincere.

Very well kept place full of little surprises in the merchandize areas, good coffee ( except they charge you way to much ) the highest pricing on coffee in the travel center market place .This TA has great washers and TVs everywhere’s a place to gather, food options are Popeyes and country pride .Popeyes was great, the other not so much .
