I came to return an item on 9/13 @1 pm. No lines. 1 cashier accommodating 1 costumer, the other lady doing something like sorting or folding clothes. I do not usually do negative reviews but this time I have to. The guy was telling me that the other lady was available but she didnt even call to say hi! Im available like cashier normally do. She blamed me for not paying attention, that she was there standing waiting for me. Like really!! I do not know what your problem is but be nice to your costumers. I did not even know what youre doing and cant read your mind. I was also waiting for at least 5 minutes before she decided that she can accommodate me. Iwas planning to shop and buy something but noticed she was the one only one left in the cashier area, I decided to go somewhere else. I will just pray for you, maybe youre struggling on something. But still be nice...

Yesterday’s visit was fantastic; however, today, while visiting Zara the line is to the door. There are at least 6 employees walking around and one person checking people out. Customers are waiting in line for upwards of 20 minutes. This can earlier be prevented if any of the other employees would check people out. One girl was checking out people ans just walked off and never came back to continue to check people out. The only thing they said was it’s a cashier upstairs.

One star is too generous. Stood in line for about 40 minutes, because there was only one cashier for a line that was all the way to the door. Store manager obviously saw the line but kept stepping to the back to hide from customers, absolutely useless. Had two other employees on the floor folding clothes, when they couldve been more useful in helping at the register.

Not sure if all stores are like this but there was clothes all over the place and very disorganized. One cashier for a busy 2 level store so expect long lines.I always hear good things about this place and this was a let down.

The WORST customer service in the world. I cannot tell you how many times I have waited for 30 minutes in line while capable employees walk around aimlessly and refuse to open additional registers. I was told today that they are “short staffed”. 😂😂😂😂😂 That may be the case, but so is every other store right now, and they’re all making it work. Love the clothes and prices, but this store is ridiculous.

Zara is just in business due to quality of their product. The customer service is really bad, specially at this mall of America store. There’s always just one counter open, for return and checkout both. There are always long lines but the store sales staff doesn’t care. People keep waiting just because they don’t have a choice. For a store like mall of America, you would expect they would hire experienced and a good number of staff but NO. Really frustrating experience at this location, every time we go.

Hate to rate a bussiness on a bad experience with staff.Personally I shop at Zara all the time.Unfortunately today I had by far the worst experience I’ve ever had and a retail store.The amount of disrespect and Such poor customer service and communication I received at the store was extremely surprisingI’m writing this review not only for management the auto show for corporate to identify some of the issues with one of the staff membersThis was brought to manager on staff at the time. Manager was very polite and understanding. Unfortunately her disgruntled employee kept coming back as if she wanted to fightI really couldn’t believe the actions of this employee and how they felt was justifiable to speak with people in general.The staff member who would not disclose her name to me. Is definitely in the wrong position to be working any retail or any customer service of any sort.You know it’s bad when the other patrons in the store are commenting and complementing on how they were happy that something was said about this employee.I would love to express my opinion and my experience with upper management as a business owner myself I would only appreciate to be made aware of such a Bad example of my establishment.I would highly doubt that Zara would want this type of example being sat at one of the locations especially in a high profile area as Mall of America

Awesome place to shop. The workers are super chill and happy to answer any questions that you might have. Dressing rooms were kept very tidy. Very fashion forward store. Various styles and cuts. Prices are higher but affordable, and the quality is worth it.

I am so disappointed in the staff and service Zara at the mall of America provided. I was charged for an item I never received and then I was charged incorrectly for another item. I went to get a price adjustment and the girl said the tag was wrong and ignored our questions about honouring the price since it was their error. The manager than came over who was of no use and had just as much attitude and walked away mid conversation. Not sure how this is even acceptable. I used to be a huge fan of zara but will never shop at this store again. You should retrain your staff on how to speak to customers.

Can’t use the fitting rooms and the line is ALWAYS out the door with 1 maybe 2 people at the register. Not possible to stand in line less than an hour. Not worth it at all. I’m just trying to return something. I will not purchase from here until they get this figured out. Such a waste of time.

I have shopped at many Zara’s and I am extremely fond but I will never return to this place ever again! I was shopping and was starting to accumulate a lot of clothing that I was purchasing and asked one of the employees if there was someplace that I could place the clothing I was holding to co tubule shopping and her comment in such a rude and condescending attitude was have you ever shopped at Zara? I said yes I have and her attitude co tongued to where I asked for a manager…. When the manager arrived the manager stood quite and was nice but the employee co tinted to speak over the manager and clearly had no respect for the manager and the manager stood quietly as I explained the situation all the whole the employee kept coming back to me in a threatening manner! I couldn’t believe this and realized that even the manager was incapable of handling this employee! I couldn’t believe that out of all the places I have traveled and different Zara’s I have experienced that this was being allowed and the manger apologized but even other patrons in the store said good job to me and couldn’t believe that employee

Zara is very bad at the MOA. Now the fitting rooms are still closed, 1 star is because it is still open. The wait time in line is painfully long. Upstairs is completely empty, the sales associate is folding clothes that nobody touched. I went there on a Monday morning and only one register was open. They have to set their priorities...

Great products but they were the only store that I visited with no fitting rooms available.Can’t really figure out if I’m a medium or large with their shirts and I picked the wrong size.They don’t have too many locations and it’s a hassle to return the items back, all this could of been facilitated by simply having fittings rooms open like the other stores.

Was confused as to why my total was more than I expected and asked the cashier to double check the price. She checked and straight up told me it was right. I was in a rush so I trusted her. Went back home to find out she was wrong and I will now have to drive all the way back to get it adjusted. Its incredibly inconvenient and couldve been prevented if she honestly looked at the price tag when I asked her to.

Love Zara, and always swing by the Chicago location when I can. Visited this location, and had a very different experience. Should have read the reviews beforehand, because it seems like everyone else has had a similar experience. Had to wait 45 minutes to buy one dress. Multiple employees working on inventory, and only one at the cash register. The line was to the entrance, and it didn’t seem to phase any employees. Very disappointed.

This is my 3rd time coming to this location and there is always a line. I’m used to that. The bigger issue is on this particular visit, one of the employees instructed half of the line to go upstairs to the men’s department and that someone would check us out at one of the registers upstairs. A few of us proceed upstairs only for someone upstairs to tell us the register is actually closed and that we could either wait until someone is available or checkout downstairs. Meanwhile, there are employees standing or walking around doing absolutely nothing. No one to assist at register in kids department, men’s or the women’s area upstairs. I mean come on! Clearly there is a lack of communication between staff, but also a lack of customer service skills. WORK ON IT!

Since the fitting rooms *still* aren’t open, everyone is just buying everything and coming back to return it. The lines are always so long, doesn’t matter what day of the week it is. I’ve never seen more than 3 cashiers with lines extending all the way to the door, but typically it’s only 2. I’ve gone to return a pair of jeans twice now and left without returning them because the line is so long.

Lines are extremely long and social distancing along with any effort to enforce it have seemingly been thrown out the window. They really need to look into limiting how many people can be in the store and to better work around how many people can be in line at once. Otherwise there are simply too many people congregating near each other. In addition, there is merchandise being tried on in the open floor with no guidelines whatsoever on why this is a bad idea. I even saw a few customers with no mask on inside the store trying on some coats. Please avoid if you are worried about getting Covid.

This review is based on my experience that I had at Zara today. The customer service was horrible, most of the employees were huddled together chatting as if they didn’t want to be there and were not welcoming. As I was checking out, the cashier associate did not greet me, just scanned my items, did not tell me the total of the purchase and expected me to just pay right away. The cashier had a nonchalant attitude by tossing my items in the bag aggressively and was not friendly at all. Honestly she seemed quite annoyed which was very disrespectful as a customer. Besides the non-existent customer service, the store itself was clean, had a good selection of clothing and products.

Very horrible experience! Saying from my own experience, I had ordered ONE article of clothing that was promised between dec 22-24, and on the 24th, when we were calling the customer service those employees were very unsure as well. There was no tracking information either. Very upsetting as this was a christmas gift for someone.In addition, store employees are extremely rude and are not helpful at the Mall of America.Just annoying!!

As a Zara fan, Im posting this as a plea for the corporate management to turn this store around. My first time in time store yesterday I bought one item. The associate who checked me out forgot to take the security tag off.Today I returned to the upstairs mens section but check out was closed. I asked a nearby associate if she could take off the security tag but she said I would have to go downstairs to show my receipt at the open check out to get it taken off.I do so, only to find a line of about 10 people, most of whom make online returns. The employees working could not have looked more forlorn. My frustration was that there were two women working ONE register. As other people have complained here, Zara, where do you find these people? Can you teach them to use common sense with a smile?I have shopped at Zara in Mexico, China, Spain, and DC, where I had far better shopping experiences. Whatever is going on here needs to be fixed fast, please!

I had great opinions about Zara until I walked into this location. I do not know how other stores are, but a staff at this location was the worst one I have ever had to deal with. 5 stars because I want to support my local Zara. Overall, this is definitely a step up from Forever 21 as far as selection, especially for young adults looking for mainstream, more classically inspired, affordable clothing for work. The prices are slightly higher compared to fast fashion, but its conveniently located across from the newly remodeled H&M so one could always go across the store, maybe fifty feet, to find more price conscious alternatives. Ive never received rude customer service here -- quite the opposite. Perhaps, the reviews considering negative service reflect more on the attitude of the customer? I just see some customers demand returns for items that seem to be outside the return period or in unwearable condition, and rather rudely at that. To my point, a young lady working as the cashier complimented my selection, suggested I size down and even patiently waited while I got another size. Considering the foot traffic in the space, the store is fresh, open and well organized. I am glad this is multiple levels too, I just wish they would get a HOME section! Fun fact: Zara does not outsource manufacturing to China like others, instead they have cheap labor available in Spain, Asia and Eastern Europe, that allow them to put new merchandise in stores within a week. Zara also only hosts sales twice a year, since they rotate select product so quickly. 5 stars because I want this Zara to stay -- wish MN had more!

I was delighted when I visit The Mall of America in Minnesota. The first store I saw....was Zara! Wow! I was blown way because.... There are 3 levels!😮👏🏽😃. I went to each level. En-joy-able!!! I did purchased a lovely black dress.
