Steve is the best. He took on what started out as a simple repair but got far more ugly due to prior work done to the head by another shop. He stuck with the project and with me until things were resolved by all parties. You can probably pay less and get less, or pay more and get the best.My vote is for the best.

Steve does a good job, no doubt about that. Hes a type A and really knows his stuff.... But what I still cant wrap my head around is how my $45 to deck the head and $45 to clean the head turned into ~$150 when I picked it up. Yes he did check some of my exhaust valves, but I never authorized that work. He checked it on his own so I shouldnt be liable for that. *sigh.Id still recommend the place if you have some work you need done, but be ready to pay extra $$$.
