This location is going through a major renovation and is looking great. Renovation is not complete yet but seems very far along. It is incredible how different it looks. Much cleaner and nicer than it was prior on both the inside and out. The self checkout lanes have state of the art technology. Staff is helpful and friendly. They offer catering serves, a juice bar, pharmacy and florist.11/2/21:When I stopped in to ShopRite today, I had to,e to get a smoothie. They are good . The smoothie station is only open until 5 PM each day. The use paper straws but plastic cups, which felt a little odd. They did not have any menu’s to take out of the store so I took a picture of the menu board.The smoothie was a little expensive but very good.

Great selection and had a great flow before they started expanding! More to come once they finish.Update, they dropped a star because of the way they try and trick their customers by putting 2 day old mince inside a very fresh looking mince. This is very intentional as the entire outside looks very pink and the middle is so dark and smells weird.Decided to post a picture. Wonder if this goes on in other departments?

Reasonable prices, love that there are baggers (Huge plus).The staff is always polite and willing to help in anyway they can. Ive been shopping here for over 20 years and Ive seen all the renovations and expansions. I just have to get used to the new aisles but still my favorite supermarket.

I love Brookdale Shoprite, especially the Shoprite From Home Delivery Service. Bonnie, Tony and Diane always aim to please. I can be tough! The store is kept very clean and they try to keep the shelves well stocked.

Ive been to this shoprite before. Its always bustling but I can get everything I need here usually. The parking lot layout is acceptable. The store overall is neat and clean. You can pickup online orders or have them delivered to your home at this store.

This was my first time visiting the location. It is new and really nice and clean inside. The store is still under construction however, you can tell that it will be beautiful inside and a pleasure to shop for groceries once its complete. The workers are getting the store up and running and their effort is obvious - you see them working diligently. I took off one star for customer service, specifically the tone of two workers. They were a slightly abrasive and could use some coaching for customer facing roles. Notwithstanding, it will be my preferred store!! Go!!

In and out in twenty minutes at 8AM on a Tuesday. First time here since March 2020 and the ongoing renovation looks good. I was impressed with the updated produce section - the selection and quality of fruits and vegetables were both improved. Still the most friendly staff of any grocery around.

Good morning my experience at the ShopRite was enjoyable I had a hard time finding what I was looking for but going up and down the aisles and see in the quality and quantity of things Ive really loved it

I love ShoprRite and this one is newly renovated. Only problem is you can see their prices have gone up since renovating. Parking got better though so thats good. You can still find the usual Shoprite deals but wont find as many as before.

I have been going to Brookdale Shoprite for decades now, but this last 2 weeks take the cake!!!Last week I couldnt get ANY half & half of any size or brand...This was a first for me at this store.This past Monday it was no milk of any size or brand...Another first.Tonight, It was 2% milk 1/2 gallon (My go-to) gone....So I walked out and went to another nearby supermarket.Add to this the condition this store has bee in for at least a year now...I CANT SHOP THERE ANYMORE!!!Maybe in another year when they realize keeping milk and dairy in their store is VERY important to its regular (and new!!!) customers...There are too many other store options in this area to make these mistakes so frequently.

Clean, good prices, helpful staff.

First time in since the pandemic and renovation started. I was under the impression it was mostly finished but not even close. First the aisles are too long and mostly empty. No real deli or bakery. Meat department covered in plastic. Random shelving all over blocking your way around. Very limited salad bar and most sadly, greens were empty. 5 employees behind counter. One cleaning. One doing whatever with olives. One taking temperatures. 2 doing not sure what. Not sure where dairy, frozen and meat and fish were. Too far away for sure! Self checkout good but the store exit is a long tunnel not well thought out. Anyway, back to Nutley or Belleville. Shame. So close to my home.

ROUNDWORMS IN SALMON, YUCK. The last 3 salmon pieces I bought at this Shoprite ALL had round worms in them. Do not buy the fresh, never frozen salmon at this store, it likely has roundworms in it. Disgusting!!!!!

I dont understand how they spent the entire winter to get nothing done. Self checkout tills should not have been added BEFORE the actual store renovation. Seafood department was closed and theres random aisles of empty shelves. Display items are pushed along the aisles making it near impossible to walk through without bumping into another person or wait until another person passes before you can. This is the worst Shoprite Ive ever been to. Im taking the extra 15 minutes to go to Wallington.

Loved it there today. May tomorrow be just as good of a day if not better

Horrible shopping experience! The scanner for my shop Rite customer # wasnt working. NO digital coupons could be accepted or scanned. Doesnt management know that weekly sales begin on Sunday? The IT team and management should have uploaded and activated ALL digital coupons in a timely manner for all Shop Rite consumers. How are we supposed to SAVE money? 6/27/21: Why arent cadhiers equipped with scanning devices that can read the Sbop Rite member number from a shoppers Shop Rite app? The cashiers have been giving me the same excuse every week for more than four weeks, that they cant scan my phone when I show them my member number on the Shop Rite app. Dont you have technology staff to address app issues?

Worst shop from home service ever. They originally delivered half of my order and part of someone elses order. Had to wait for someone to pick that up. Next day I finally get the rest of my order (1 hour later than I was assured) and items are missing, plus who puts three large cans of tomatoes in one thin plastic bag? Broke in the vestibule and smashed baking soda everywhere. I placed this order to save myself time but with all the waiting around for them to come back and phone calls, I would have been better off going to the store. Very nice people but come on. Absolutely unacceptable and a very aggravating experience.

Out of things and no one seemed to care. The cashier was nice though.

My husband and I use ShopRite from Home. We are both disabled and its just more convenient. They recently implemented a system where you send a text to a number and your groceries are brought to your car. I guess this was implemented to be more efficient. It is not. I wait a minimum of 20 minutes for my groceries whereas before there was no wait.

Under construction, cant find anything staff doesnt know where anything is...

Yaya from the bakery was so kind and courteous. Made us a beautiful Mario brother cake for our grandsons right there on the spot within minutes. Thank you!

Rude people, no product, NO SOCIAL DISTANCING.Deli lady screamed at my father cause the machine wasnt working when it didnt have a sign on it or anything, and he was trying to make an order. Dont DONT BE SO RUDE to customers. I work in customer service too. I would never tell at my customers for something not working if there was 1. No sign stating it wasnt 2. The machine was operableNever ever ever coming here again. EVER

The fact that this store got 4 stars is a joke. This has to be a corporate set-up—Paying people to give good reviews—because this is possibly the most disgusting supermarket in NJ.

We have been using shoprite from home since the pandemic began. The service is not the best. It sometimes takes up to a half hour to wait for groceries even when it is your scheduled time. I have not been able to find a shoprite near me that has an efficient shoprite from home program. The people are very nice but it just often takes too long.

I would like to share that Devon, who is outside most times taking care of the lot, is Always friendly, helpful and always offers a have a good day to all the customers.I find that he is always in a happy mood and it brings a smile to everyone.

Lots of variety of bread, cakes and dairy items. I love how you get everything in one placenwoth high quality. Only drawback is you do not get all the fruits, it was consistently missing peaches and papayas which is absolutely love. Thats one thing stopping me from giving it 5 stars. A good all in one grocery chain for the montclair and nearby towns

Theyre under construction, but they are still open for business. I like it there. Bloomfield was my hometown for many years. Shoprite of Bloomfield has what I like, and the associates are helpful. I now live in Srcaucus, but I take Access Link to get there. I rather ship there than any place else.

I received a delivery from this location. I ordered two chicken broths. When I opened the first one the seal underneath had been broken and I could see inside. So I opened the second bottle only to see a similar opening in my broth. I poured it into a cup and each time it came out sudsy. Disgusting! I wont ever shop at this shoprite location again!

The signage regarding the prices of an item are rarelylocated near the item. Theres seem to be a little bait switch thing here, Ive notice mostly,in the produce aisle.Which is very congested and no scales or very few to comparison shop. This was my favorite hands down West Orange store better organized 😐

My experience was GREAT! I called 3 different Shoprite stores looking for a specific produce item. Not only did this store have it, but Alfredo told me to ask for him, and hed bring out the freshest they had!! When I arrived he wasnt available, but Griselda brought out the produce and SHE was VERY PLEASANT AND HELPFUL!! This Shoprite is SUPERB with their customer service, specifically in the PRODUCE DEPARTMENT!!! Thank you!!

This Shoprite is the best!! I been to a lot of Shoprite’s but none are like this location.. Its very clean always fully stocked and everyone is super nice. Especially Toni from “Shoprite at home” I do a pick up at least twice a month and she never hesitates to help me and is always helpful whenever I need help with my order .

Fantastic experience, lots of products and sale associates are amazing to clients. Plus, quick check service is available and I love it. So I will shop there as long as I am the area.

I absolutely love this store! They have a huge assortment, are always well stocked, and well staffed. So nice to find a grocery that has package help stationed at every check stand! The prices are great too...much lower than Stop & Shop. Be sure to download their app and clip the digital coupons. We save a bunch each week this way!

So highly under staffed. Everytime I’m in here AT NIGHT, they have three registers open if that: customer service is ringing up people. I can’t comprehend how downloading the ShopRite app changed my ShopRite card to my cell phone number. It has been my house number for over 20 years but downloading this useless app changed the telephone number and customer service is ringing up customers so there’s no hope in getting it changed back. Also, the digital coupons don’t even work somehow. It’s such a joke even when I bring it to their attention they tell you to get behind 5 other customers at customer service to get back money that should have been taken off. Frustrating to say the least and not worth the headache. Nothing is simple.

Parking lot is getting a little better..most food items are back. They are making an effort during this crazy time..which is appreciated by all!

Oh my gosh, I mean I know theyre under construction but this was the most confusing and exhausting shopping experience. Im guessing theyre fixing it because it was broken in the first place. I do usually avoid this shoprite anyway because the setup is terrible but its the closest to my house. I may have saved time driving out to West Orange 🤷🏽‍♀️

My go to shoprite. Great prices. Always kinda crowded. They have some beer but its overpriced.Life keeps going on... And Google just wants to document every visit. Throwing a wrench in the reviews to make it interesting. Dont forget to live in the moment.
