Authentic kerala food is available here as take out .. All the dishes we ordered were good ..word of mouth has helped spread the popularity of this place .. My only suggestion would be to work on the promotion and marketing of this place to increase its popularity provided they can handle the volumes

So this review is for foodies who are interested in trying Indian food unlike anything youd ever find at any local Indian restaurants (not even in Edison/Parisappany/Jersey City!). The cuisine is from Kerala, a small state at the southern tip of India. The people are known as Malayalees as the language they speaking is Malayalam. Royal India is as authentic as it gets when it comes to Kerala cuisine - as evidenced by their appearance at all the big church and home church and home celebrations in our community. Unlike other parts of India - meat is a big part of Kerala cuisine - including fish, pork, and even cows. Kerala food is also unique given its incorporation of coconut and heavy on spices.Its always a little intimidating ordering from an ethnic store, myself included given my poor mastery of Malayalam, but you can order take out online from their website and they have contactless curbside pickup. To those who want to give it a try here are a few recommendations:- If you can deal with fiery foods, be sure to try the Pork Roast. I want to reiterate that it is VERY spicy, but the flavors are off the charts. This is the house specialty as Ive never not seen this dish at an event theyve catered.- Get a few Parottas to eat the pork roast with. Its completely different from a roti - soft layers that come apart in your hand- Cutlet - keralas version of an empanada. Fried and breaded patties stuffed with chicken and spices.- Chilly Chicken - the original Indian-Chinese fusion dish. Much milder than the name suggests and honestly tastes like it couldve come from a Chinese restaurant.

If you are looking for authentic Christian Malayali food, this is the place then. Benjamin is an awesome chef and an even better person.

They have good Malayali ( Kerala, India) food. I ordered by phone, picked up in person. It is a clean well run place. The food was tasty. The portions are really good. Prices are reasonable. The people are friendly.

This Indian grocer stock many of the spices, herbs, lentils and condiments needed for Southern or Northern Indian dishes. He had curry leaves and mustard seeds, which I need for my Keralan cooking, and the former isnt easy to come by. Cant wait to find out more about the catering side of the business.

They prepare really really very good North Indian and South India food. I have ordered for my sons birthday party for about 175 people. Their service is also excellent. Very delicious Malai Kofta, Sashi Paneer, Gobi Manchurian, Chilly chicken, Butter Chicken, Fried Rice and Biriyani, Rasa Malai and Gulab Jamune, Fruit Salad etc... I recommend. They have very reasonable price.
