I am surprise at some of the comments about the owner, I had to check to make sure this was the same store. I a Montclair resident and my friends and I have purchased many items from the store even when it was located on Bloomfield Avenue a few streets up! I have always found the owner to be kind and respectful, going beyond to make sure that you find what you need. And, if he doesnt have it! He has no issues in ordering it for you in the future.Well...everyone experiences are different ones!

I brought an afro pick for 2.99 and even though its not a lot of money its still money. Two days later the metal comb pieces started falling out. One of them must have fallen when i was in the car and i didnt realize it until later that day at home. When i went to exchange it, the store owner did not want to let me exchange it because i couldnt find the one piece that was missing. He only me find it because im not giving you a exchange if you do not have the other piece. I told him i could not find it and if it was for the product being so poorly mad then i wouldnt be here today. He continued to not give me the exchange and kept tell me hes not giving me an exchange. With me being a business owner my self, i explained to him that it shouldnt have been no argument about it and that he should have just taken the old one and gave me a new one. This business is not credible at all, i advise you visit a different beauty supply store.
