I brought my car to Richard@Allstar Automotive to check the brakes and a grinding noise coming from the tire. He was kind enough to give me a ride home and back to pick the car up. He fixed my brakes, the inner tie rod, and did an oil change for a great price. He kept the car very clean and neat. He did the work quickly and explained everything that needed to be done prior to doing it. Richard is very dedicated to doing quality work at a fair price and making sure his customers are satisfied. Was in need of an emergency check when something got stuck on the underside of my car a few months ago. I found this place and Rich checked out my car immediately and with no charge to me. Went to a mechanic that was closer to me that told me I had a bad timing belt that was a very expensive but Rich was honest with me and let me know that that was not the issue when he could’ve easily did that and still charged me will be going back!

I had a serious problem with my vehicle, wasn’t able to pinpoint what it was and didn’t wanna drive too far from my house to solve it. Car over heated took it to a mechanic they told me the radiator fans were no good and then I took it to Rich. After a deeper dive he uncovered corrosion in the relay block causing a multitude of problems. Quick fix on the road, thanks Rich!

Best mechanic around! I am born and raised NJ, but new to Bloomfield and Essex county, so when my car was having trouble I was out of my comfort zone. I fount Rich and AllStar Automotive and was a lifesaver! I have now had work done on my 2000 GMC Yukon XL a couple of times and it has been First Rate, Fast Top Quality work at the best prices around. Rich and rhe AllStar crew are amazing, super responsive and transparent (unlike 99% of mechanics). I wont take my Yukon or any future cars anywhere else.
