Not forthcoming with the truth / Shady. Bought 4 new Goodyear tires. I was sold on the fact that you have a $200 rebate. Was told all you need to do is fill out the rebate online with the info on the receipt. The sales associate and the store manager who printed out the rebate form and watched us pay with a regular bank card, choose not to mention the rebate only comes when you pay for the transaction using a Goodyear or Mavis CREDIT CARD. (Who would have a good year credit card laying around?) If you cant be honest with a customer, I wont trust you with future business.

Great service and very friendly people at the front desk, I had a flat tire and had no where to go, they helped me when I walked in and replaced my tire for me right away!Highly recommend for any service.

Really good experience today with the Mavis team in Bloomfield, NJ. I appreciated the quick review of my vehicle and the sense of humor the staff displayed. The waiting area was comfortable but could use a little cleaning. However the bathroom was super clean and that was a plus. The cashier was helpful and the mechanic who worked on my car (sorry I forgot his name) was super friendly and knowledgeable (light skin guy) and has the potential to be a manger if not already. Upon completion of the work done to my car, I was happy with the results and look forward to returning in another 3,000 miles or so!

After shopping around a bit, it seemed like Mavis had the best price for a tire repair around the area. The online booking/reservation system works well and the shop took in my vehicle right after checking in. I made an appointment a day in advance for 10 Am. I arrive approximately 9:40 a.m. only to be told theres a 2 hour wait. I then asked, what was the point in making an appointment? His response was to give us a heads up This was the most ridiculous response I have ever heard. This location has POOR MANAGEMENT & CUSTOMER SERVICE. Im new to the area & will NEVER patronize Bloomfield Mavis. One thing for certain the New Brunswick location will run circles around this location.

I wanted to get a new tire for my car. I called the number listed on google. That was the first mistake, the number listed on google for this location does not belong to this location. Apparently it goes to a call center, which isnt a great help. The person that i spoke to gave me great customer service assured me that tire was in stock. The rep even advised me to wait 30 minutes to leave my house, that way i could cut down the wait time and they would put my name on the list. I get to the location and Im told there was no record of me calling and the wait time for my tire to be put on my car was 45 minutes. I held my breath and waited the 45 minutes, my tire was flat, i had no choice. I get the tire changed and then to put the icing on the cake ITS THE WRONG TIRE!!!!!!!!!! I called corporate and they worked with me quickly. A new tire, THE RIGHT TIRE had to be ordered so I had to drive around on the wrong tire for 5 days. Even when I came back to get the right tire....I had to wait AGAIN for about an hour and a half...This is another Mavis location I will not be coming back too. Be warned before you go, the representatives in this location are more worried about being on their phone andon social media more than they are worried about paying attention to detail.

I ordered and made a reservation for 10:00am for a tire change. I showed up even before 10:00 and didnt leave until 1:00 without the tire even been changed. We waited in the car for hours before we decided to go in and just take the tire to get it changed elsewhere. The front desk associate stated someone went out to the car and saw no one in the car. There was 2 of us in the car, perfectly visible and even watching the workers work on other cars. Whats the point of making a reservation?

I had 4 tires installed thru a deal with amazon. The outcome was terrible.After months of dealing with leaky tires and tire pressure light on dash. I brought the worst wheel back to Mavis and learned the rim was bent. It wasnt bent before... long story short, I had to buy a replacement wheel on ebay and brought it to a reputable tire shop where I learned Mavis removed the TPS valves and replaced them with rubber valves.Summary: two damaged wheels and 4 missing TPS sensors. the TPS sensors cost $99 bucks each for the right ones, wheels are $110 each on ebay, tire installation is $35 each to swap the tires over... I really lost a lot in this deal. All totaled its a almost $800 lost.

My in store experience was fine however I was very disappointed and mislead by the Mavis call center. I called for a quote and was given a price for four tires that seemed good so I drove to the reconvened location only to fine that the actual price was 50% higher. I was told by the attendant in the store that this Bate and Switch practice is common so beware and go to the store for a price. I would not doing business with Mavis Tire.

This is my 3rd time to this place and I’m really over them. I tried doing business here but so unprofessional I wonder how they keep in business. I guess because not a lot of people know about cars and their options. This place does not honor appointments nor warranties. Stay away and don’t waste your time and money. Doesn’t even deserve one star.

Ive had tires put there a few times. The last time I went after a tire rotation the tech cross threaded my lugs. I noticed when I was doing my brakes. I called the store they said they couldnt do anything because they dont know if someone else touched it. Fine, Im never going back their for their incompetence in trying to do things fast and driving in a cruise cross threaded nut. Next time Ill go somewhere else.

Dont bring your car to any other shop. This Mavis is a cut above the rest, on many occasions over the years this shop has made good where others have failed and generally provided the best service. Yes there is a wait sometimes (calling ahead helps) but that is what you get when you go to the best shop in town. Staff is always the nicest and prices are always fair 10/10.

If i was able to give 0/5 stars i would, worst device. Was told i needed new brake fluid, which y brake fluid was fine only thing i needed was new tires which i went to Toyota for. plus apparently hydraulic fluid was leaking from my suspension and that my suspension was bad which was not true at all. They try to con people of money. never coming back here. Toyota checked everything and everything checked out fine except for the tires which i had replaced.

The best place to get your tires a good price and alignment I can’t complain they took sometime doing the whole process but i don’t worry alot since most of the time I dropped my car and leave and wait for them to call me.

Called 4 days ago for a tire and called back three days in a row to see if it arrived yet. Today when I called they said the order was canceled. When i asked why all i got was “i dont know”. When i asked why I wasn’t notified all i got was “I dont know I’m in the same boat as you”. So then I said okay can you order it again and he then asked what kind of tire. Shouldn’t you know? Told them I’ll try somewhere else. Hopefully a place that can communicate better with customers.

I don’t know where are all this good reviews are coming from. Please be aware of this place. Overprice, plus not good mechanics. I came for brake pads due to noise on my wheels. What they gonna do is suggest you for things that you don’t need, and not tackle the problem. Rear Brake pads went bad due to bad caliper. A year later I have to go to a different place get that fixed. Please do not go to this place. All this review are fake just to get you to go there.

Called the number for the Bloomfield, NJ location and somehow got transferred to the call center and spoke to someone named Matt who quoted me a price for 2 Michelin Defender tires for my girlfriend’s 2011 Toyota Camry. Matt quoted me $287.96 plus tax and this includes the balancing and mounting. He said just give me your cell number and I’ll put you in the system. He said just tell your girl to give us your cell number when she gets there and she is all set. My girl gets there, waits on line and finally gets up to the counter and is told they don’t have those tires and she is not in the system. Fast forward we got everything done somewhere else at a lower price. Their lack of communication and horrible customer service cost them $300 today. Next....

Broke 2 center caps and didn’t even say anything. Gave car back with them missing. Went back in to get broken caps! They suck!

This place does offer the best tire price. I came here after having a flat tire that couldn’t be salvaged. I called in on a Sunday and they accommodated me right away.

Amazing! Went here once on a Saturday, early morning. I called in to see what could be done about my tire that had a leak in it due to a nail puncture. I went in, as they said they would be able to check on it if I came in soon. I was very pleased at how quick the service was and how great their customer interaction and service was. I wish I remembered their names but they were all sweet, nice and very attentive. Will definitely go back if I have another problem !

Warning, Warning, Warning...This is my true account of events that happened today 08/08/2020. Two days prior I went to the Mavis website and booked a 9:00 a.m. appointment for today to purchase 4 new tires and have them put on and aligned. I arrived at the location in Bloomfield at 8:11 a.m. the store doesnt open until 9 a.m. about 8:45 a.m. people start lining up at the door so I get out my car and get in line. Im the 4th person in line. Once the door opened and I was able to get to the register, I provided my order number and he pulled up my order. I explained that I wanted to also have my breaks replaced. He indicated that it wouldnt be a problem. I explained that I am waiting for the car (not a drop off). Zooming forward 12:32 p.m. arrives and my car is still in my same parking spot (3+ hours). I specifically inquired as to my car and that cashier brought it to the attention of the manager. The manager said that I was next. 1 p.m. my car was still sitting. I told them I want my keys back because Im leaving. The manger said they are done with the other car and he would work with the mechanic to get me taken care of. I agreed to wait a little longer. All the customers who I was before are now gone. It is needless to say the manager did not help and my car wasnt put on to the lift until 1:28p. The wheels went back on the car after 2 p.m. I get my car around 2:30 p.m. only to find out they have not done the breaks. Most might have gone ballistic, but I am not that type of person. I expressed my dissatisfaction and they did nothing to make amends for my inconvenience. Needless to say I will not be returning.

Definitely one of the best experiences I have ever had when fixing an issue with my car. Ended up getting a flat on the parkway, and happen to have gotten off on this exit. They were the closest place to me, I called and the gentleman who answered the phone (didn’t get his name but was a part of the transmission service team) was so patient, and helpful. I’m clueless when it comes to tires, and he walked me through everything he needed to be able to help me, and was so patient because I was upset because I didn’t know what I was going to do. Somehow I made it, to the shop without needing a tow, and they had a ticket for my service set up already. So it made everything quick so I could get back on the road. Never felt pressured or uncomfortable because they never tried to upsell me, or overcharge me for anything, like most places do. The whole staff was super nice, informative, and worked efficiently. I wish I lived closer so I could use their services more, but I’d definitely recommend them.

Kiayre was the BEST!!!!!! I called so many places who wanted me to wait 2-3 hours. I showed up at this Mavis and was told I would be taken care of right away and I was.

I came in asking for air for a flat tire. Spencer was the one who assisted me with this task. Afterwards, he kindly suggested for him to check out the possible cause of this air leak. I allowed him to do so and he found a nail inside . He was able to fix my flat tire. I loved the customer service there and I didn’t have to wait all day. Thanks Spencer !

I came in yesterday for an oil change. They were busy but everyone was professional the wait time was no problem. And I will be going back for my tune-up in the fall. The manager and the mechanics were very nice and polite.

Awesome service, did a quick and good job on the puncture.

They were very nice when I got there however the tech told me that I needed new rotors and I said I just wanted my front pads done. After talking a bit I said I would do the rotors too and he said the job would be done in one hour or a bit more. I went into the lobby I checked my email from bmw dealer saying that I only needed the front pads. So I told the guy nvm I just wanted the front pads and no rotors. He then came into the lobby and told me that they could not do my car because it’s a dealer part only. They basically wanted to take my money. Bad business.

Aa soon as I pulled into the lot, a group of techs started telling 2 hour wait time. With one car in the bay. When I called, I made an appointment for 4pm. I got there at 3:40. Then they tell me the tires are enroute, after I was told they had them there. I called at 12 noon. Just seemed like no one wanted to work. I went to a local place and got the same tires a bit more but I was home before 5. Local business all the way. Never again.
