Food Lion is fine but they dont have enough organic food, including produce. But also meets condiments, whatever.

I used to be a Kroger shopper but in the last few months have switched over to Food Lion. This locations produce is consistently fresh and delicious. They often have items that no other stores can keep stocked. The front of house employees are honest and competent. Love this spot.

I mean not bad but theres a lot of great grocery store options in town with coverage over larger portions of the area

It was really good . Bought a fresh rotisserie chicken and a beautiful tomato .Stire was clean and fully stocked .

Usually nice staff. Was so on this occasion as well. I had an issue with my brain and scanning the wrong barcode. The person helped me out very patiently.

Ok store... Day staff is friendly and helpful also knowledgeable where odd items are.Night staff had no registers open and I refuse to use self checkout so they got to put items back in stock.

I will continue to stop in here since it is only a block away. Management was receptive when I complained about the behavior of the rude, badly raised cashier. The cashiers just do not seem to be working to meet customers demands. They mostly stand around and chat.

Food Lion to Go was wonderful this morning. The person pulling my order for pickup texted me as he began the order, and let me add some items. Asked me questions about how I preferred my bananas, if a certain substitute was acceptable, etc. My order was ready early, as usual. Even let me request a printed receipt, which other stores have refused. Food Lion on North Main and personal shopper Rob are the best!!

It was very nice

I visited this establishment to satisfy a late night craving of an Italian sub. To my delight I was able to find an Italian sub within the store. While my expectations were low due to Food Lion not being know for their subs, It did exceed my expectations and was not entirely crusty. Lets start with the bread shall we; it was pretty much tasteless and I wish it had more crunch to it. Although, due to the sub being refrigerated for obvious reasons it was too soft for my well developed bread palette. (Tip: Giant has really good baguettes for no reason) Now, for the lettuce is was again pretty much tasteless and lacked the much needed crunch. It was soggy which was a travesty and extremely disappointed. Now this is where the sub becomes passable, the meat on the sandwich really carried to this 3 star review. The Meat had a strong taste and I can still taste the pastrami in my mouth which idk how I feel about that, but nonetheless if you are looking for an Italian sub I would recommend visiting another establishment.

A go to place for all our groceries

It is very convenient and easy to get in and out of. Out of the 3 biggest grocery chains in this area their prices are usually highest. They have some very good sales though. It is also the closest grocery store to my house at about 15 miles which is almost 5 miles closer than any other. I have noticed that Food Lion stores seem to be closer in to many neighborhoods.

I like Food Lion as it is close by and the produce is smaller but better than Kroger. Otherwise they have the same basic stuff as the rest and the students prefer Kroger so its not usually as busy. The deli is good and Jackie has the meats I need for any occasion. I go about twice a day for work and its fast and convenient.

Terrible terrible management. Food on the shelves left long past expiration dates. Manager can be incredibly rude to customers and from what I’ve observed even to some of his employees. The deli leaves much to be desired. Salads with rotten lettuce left on the shelf for purchase, sup par food at best. Absolutely do not recommend this store I’ll happily drive the extra 20 minutes to get to a Walmart or Target if it means I can avoid this store. Oh and the hard boiled egg in my salad had brown spots?

All employees are nice, store is always well stocked, and I have found many Food Lion brands that I love.

I tend to shop at food lion more than Kroger now. Mainly because its much less busy and the staff are more helpful. The produce and meats tend to be much higher quality and fresher too.

Was greeted as soon as I walked in and was impressed since this was my first visit and usually no one will greet you in food stores. Clean and friendly. Prices could be a tad cheaper in certain areas. Will return and will brag to others about my experience.

While many things are out of stock at the moment, the management send to be trying their best to prevent hoarding, and encourage social distancing in these difficult times. I do not envy them.

This is a pretty dated, run-down grocery store. Its selection is pretty limited, especially for meats and vegetables, and I always get confused by the layout (by the way, the bread is in the cleaning supply aisle by the beer, in case you cant find it).I prefer to pass this Food Lion up on my way to Kroger.

My wife says this is the best Food Lion shes ever been in.
