My opinion is that ACE has very good customer relations. When in the store, I have always been greeted with staff who really want to help. Their knowledgeable and friendly. Persons at the till, are businees like and willing to offer help with questions not directly related to store stuff. Not to mention quality of products I have interest in.

For many years, I have purchased Craftsman lawn mowers. Usually the professional series. They have always done a great job, had features that I liked and had a Briggs and Stratton engines. Today my lawn mower died and I needed to purchase a new mower. Since Sears is no more, I decided to buy one locally that had a shop that could work on them. I went to the north Ace location and started looking at mowers. The store manager (owners son) came over and started telling me about all the features of the mowers, from the least expensive to the most expensive. He didnt try to sell me one or the other; just letting me know the differences. I was really surprised at his knowledge. I could tell that he wasnt just quoting facts and figures off a brochure. He was incredibly nice and very professional. I purchased a hold over model from last year as it had the features I wanted (and more) and it was also $100 off. The person at the counter that rang up my purchase also filled out my warranty info and the store manager filled the mower with gas and oil; ran the mower and helped me load it up. I would definitely recommend Ace hardware if you are looking for a lawn mower! Five stars for my experience today.

No stars for Ace. This store does not require masks for employees nor customers even though we are in a covid surge. Our older friends, who do not go out and about unless they have to, were in this store, texted that masks were not being worn and were disappointed that they werent. The following week our friend became ill and then tested positive for covid. Our friend is now fighting for his life. Ace employees and customers should both be protected. I will never shop at Ace Hardware again. Thank you for not being ND Smart.Jeff.

The vibes are glorious. Takes me back to a place of yesteryear with the friendly front door greeting and customer service. It’s a little slice of country goodness in a burgeoning metropolis.

Amazing customer service! We were camping and needed a plug for our fresh tank. All the camper places were closed! Decided to check ace hardware. They helped us out. They didnt just point to a isle, they walked us right to what we needed.

When you dont know exactly what you want or need the staff is extremely knowledgeable and helpful.

I have been using Ace more and more, today again I was greeted with a eager and very helpful employee in selecting a outdoor gas fire pit, he knew all the features and differences in the product’s, so it was easy for me to say yes.When I was done shopping they loaded me up with the pre assembled product for me to enjoy immediately after home arrival, I would say that’s hard service to beat, you got my business.

Really nice store. I went in with a specific tool in mind, planning to get a new snowblower. I got there and was interested greeted by a friendly staff member who showed me what I was looking for. We talked for a minute about what I had in mind, and he gave me a few ups and downs about the specific model I had in mind. He showed me another one that was similar with a couple features I also wanted. I purchased the model he suggested and Im so glad I did! The lady at the checkout was also delightfully pleasant and friendly. I had the blower delivered to my home and had it running only a couple hours later! What an excellent experience!

Walking in this store takes me back my childhood when clerks were friendly, accommodating and happy to help you with anything you needed. That no longer exists in my hometown in SE SD, but it is still alive and well at this Ace. Sure things cost a little more than at the big box houses or online...but it is worth every penny to have people that know what they are doing readily available and willing to help with any project. These folks will load the sand into the back of your truck, help solve your plumbing problems, or get you setup with a soldering iron. Great people.Update...continued great service at this store every time I come in! Hey cry babies...they are all always wearing masks to make you feel better...because that is all a mask will do... make you feel better. If you think it will stop covid you are insane. Hold up some perfume in front of your mask...do you smell it? Yeah you do...because the mask say right on them does not prevent transmission of biological agents because they are not a freaking respirator.
