Great customer service, trendy decor, and tasty food with sustainable packaging for our food items! The restroom was also clean, and it was a pleasant surprise to see that the bathroom soap dispenser had powdered soap & there were neatly-folded washcloths for drying my hands. Kudos to this business for caring about their use of resources and for being conscious about the amount of waste products used.My mom & MIL had the Le Big Bird, and since they make their sandwiches fresh, they were able to make my moms without cheese. I had the avocado toast with a croissant instead of the toast for my bun, and my husband had the Dank breakfast burrito, which he said was a good, hefty portion size, unlike most small breakfast burritos. Everyone said their food was delicious!

Its been a year since I have had my Terra fix. I met my friend for breakfast and chat time today. We both really enjoyed our time at Terra Nomad, the Pistachio Rose Latte and Avocado Toast were both so wonderful! We will be back soon! Thank you!

This coffee shop has a minimalistic feel with plenty of space for meeting up. The coffee and food are amazing. They are always creative with there drink and food items. Great place to meet with friends or business associates.

My fiancé and I wanted to try a new coffee place and so we stopped in to Terra Nomad. There were three employees, but one was manning the coffee and the till. He prioritized the till and it took us 45 minutes to get two vanilla lattes. The customers who came after us got their food before we got our drinks. We will not be back.

Wow, this place was amazing in every way! The service was exceptional. The woman from Sarasota who was working the register made a custom iced coffee for us that was delicious. We had the happy hippy wrap and the maple one and both were incredible. Fresh, healthy ingredients with amazing flavor. Great for vegetarians! Loved this place and would recommend to anyone! (The ambiance inside is also really nice)

Great coffee. Rating would be higher if their business hours remained consistent. I have ventured my way to downtown for Terra Nomad coffee and Id say half of the time they are closed, or have temporary hours/events.

Terra Nomad is a really great place to have meetings and do some work in downtown Bismark. I was looking for a place with a good cuppa coffee and some decent raw foods. I found them with a Google search and here I am spending my day at Terra Nomad.

Neat little restaurant. Excellent quality and taste of ingredients. Dishes are expensive and portion sizes are small. Seating situation used to be very limited, but Ive heard its improved recently. Their butternut squash soup was amazing.

On the recommendation of a barista, I ordered the golden girlfriend with a shot of matcha and a sprinkle of cinnamon. It is so good that when I got back to Fargo I searched for a coffee shop that had something similar but couldn’t find anything as good! I’ve had the quiche here a few times and it has always been amazing. Most recently I ordered a scone. Usually I don’t like scones because they tend to be dense and dry but the one in the glass window looked delicious so I went for it and it was soooo good. It was soft, a little puffy, moist, and full of berries. They have vegetarian options and different milks for those that don’t drink dairy.

Just stop by Bismarck on our way back to MN. We didn’t expect this hip and fancy coffee shop on our road trip. Good quality of coffee. Great stop! Recommended Lavender latte!

My sister and I ordered lunch from Terra Nomad yesterday. We order lunch from there maybe once a month, but holy cow were we so impressed with our food yesterday! We had the best beer cheese we have ever had from a restaurant. And it came with a homemade pretzel to dip into the soup which was soft, salty, and delicious. Keep it up Terra Nomad! We will definitely be ordering lunch again!

An absolute gem of a coffee shop located in downtown Bismarck. I ordered a miel, and it was one of the best miels that I have ordered at a coffee shop. The inside of the shop is super comfortable looking as well, perfect for a coffee shop! Arguably the best coffee shop in North Dakota.

I love Terra Nomad when I’m traveling back to my home town from Seattle I always stop here for their smoothie bowl, and avocado toast before heading out. Tasty and healthy that’s a good combo!

Amazing food. Highly recommend the hippy wrap. It has a kick, but is very tasty! Their food truck is also top notch. My kids love the sloppy scone.

The smoothie bowl was AMAZING!! weird set up on how to get coffee and food also you have to put your dishes in a dirty tub so your hands get other peoples food/drinks on you

Good spot for espresso and tapas. These guys use Four Barrel Coffee beans for their espresso, and Ritual chocolate for their mochas, which I heartily endorse; best mocha in town, hands down. Wish they had a slow bar, but maybe with enough support theyll be able to add one.

Great Mochas, cookies and sandwiches. Here I had a hibiscus spritzer, and it was the perfect drink for a hot day! Good place to study, but tables aren’t huge so probably more of a solo study sesh.The only thing that I would change is I’ve seen the owner pick up packages etc off the ground while wearing gloves then go right back to touching food 🤢 The staff needs to be a bit more aware of food safety protocol.

Bismarck is better having Terra Nomad in it! The food is the delectable, freshly prepared and creative.. I love the spritzers in summer and the lavender latte is the best latte in town. You cannot go wrong with the baked goods. The staff are friendly and knowledgeable. I can’t recommend it more highly.

In my opinion, Terra Nomad is the best place to get coffee in Bismarck. There are definitely other great places but Terra Nomads quality of their product they serve is phenomenal. Also, the food is top notch and made fresh right in front of you!

I had a smoothie bowl. Very very yummy! I also had one of there flourless cookies. Definitely Suggest getting one. The atmosphere is very upbeat and relaxing.

Came here for breakfast with my mom when she was visiting. They have a nice selection of coffee and pastries. They don’t have a huge menu for breakfast but the options all sounded very good. We got the bowl with potatoes and eggs and avocado toast. Both dishes were delicious. They did lose our order so we waited for a bit of time but they made it up with some delicious free pastries!

Its great for grab go coffee and food however its LOUD in the shop. Not a great place for reading, serious work or calls. The dishwashing process echos the entire place and can be deafening. Also, bring a sweater - the AC is jacked into overdrive it seems.

Was not impressed with the drink and scone I received and paid quite a high price for. Drink was tiny and bland and the scone was so salty I couldnt eat it. I want to support local businesses however I was disappointed at Terra Nomad. Atmosphere was nice and location is handy, food and drink needs improvement, especially at their prices.

Delicious, local, organic, fresh (daily) food!!! Coffee is really good; first time Ive experienced coffee in Bismarck that isnt burnt. The price is actually really low for local, organic, freshly made food. Atmosphere is chill and the people are really welcoming. Its about time Bismarck.

Awesome, ethical coffee place with great food. Food tastes so good you won’t believe it’s healthy too. The coffee is awesome and unlike pop coffee places it’s not too sweet. Even the bathrooms are great. Sells cool trendy clothes too!

Good food, cool vibe, but definitely not a place to sit down and get some work done if you like to get out of the office/library every now and then. There are only few tables that would allow you to work comfortably and it would get too expensive to hang out for more than a cup of coffee. The coffee is good, but over-priced at $2.50 for 12 oz. (maybe 10 oz.) cup with no discount on refills.

I shared a visit with my sister over the cheddar Apple salad and WOW! Terra Nomad has always blew my socks off! Way to go!

This place has a cool vibe, and the best hot chocolate in the US. I should know, Ive been to all of the states. Great rich chocolate flavor, velvety texture, and not too sweet, even with the marshmallow! So good, wish I could go back for another!!!

Such a great atmosphere for whatever youre doing: working, getting together with friends, or reading. I loved loved loved the lavender latte and the strawberry lemon poppy seed muffin. I loved the latte so much I had to go back for a second and got the miel, also very delicious!

The quiche is amazing I love that it comes with fresh greens. Best hot chocolate I have had in a very long time, dark but not bitter and it comes with a home made marshmallow to boot! I will be back.

I live Terra Nomad!!! Saturday brunch is my favorite time to go. Sloppy scones with a Golden Blondie is unbeatable! If chocolate is your thing, go for the mocha! Terra Nomad utilises an amazing chocolatier:)

The Lavender Latte is amazing. The menu often changes, but what every you order will be great. Step out the box and try something I promise you will not regret it.

I love the food and the staff and the idea behind this establishment. The ingredients are fresh, the coffee is good and prices are reasonable. I rate at a 4 instead of 5 because of the seating. The seating is strange and could be more effectively laid out.

Just went here today for the first time....Have heard its amazing by co-workers. All of the staff was not friendly at all....The girl who made our drink wouldn’t look at us or acknowledge us. We got an iced vanilla latte with almond milk and it wasn’t good at all. And also got a Cortado with almond milk...it was better than the iced latte. Definitely don’t want to go here again.....Go to Fireflour! They have the best coffee and service!

Best coffee in town!! Terra nomad has been our go to spot every morning while we have been in town visiting family. Gluten free blueberry scone was amazing, same with the fresh sourdough. My Miel (Viennese) was delicious. My husband said his macchiato was great. Drip coffee was good, however, we both enjoyed the espresso more. The atmosphere and coffee reminds us of some of our favorite spots in San Diego. Fyi, they only have one size for lattes. We love whole milk but I noticed they do have almond and oat milk.

Upscale trendy garbage. its unclear what theyre trying to accomplish. it looks like someone just got their interior design degree and decided they could make a cup of coffee so they might as well sell that. I ordered black tea with milk, and a ginger snap. my boyfriend and I were the only customers in the store. the barista took 12 minutes to make the tea, which should indicate it was actually being steeped. but no, by the time she called me up to get it (why would you not bring it to the table when were the only ones in the store?) it was clear she had just dropped a bag into the water. I had to ask a second time for milk, at which point she dumped way too much in, so it was just drinking watery milk at that point. then two customers came in to look at the leather jackets being sold (what??) and she left for 10 minutes to sell them a jacket. finally my boyfriend had to ask her to please hand us the ginger snap from the bakery case, which had been ordered over 20 minutes ago. this business is a joke. hoping they make their exit from main street soon so a real coffee/tea shop can take its place. if you want to support a good local business, stick with steep me a cup of tea. I will be.

Terra Nomad is the best place to get coffee in Bismarck! Although its a bit pricey, this is the place to get a coffee if your love of coffee is as much as mine.

Perhaps we caught the barista on a bad day, but this was pretty disappointing. We weren’t greeted or asked what we would like (not too big a deal when a shop is busy, but there was no line) and when we thanked the barista for our drinks all we got was a huff and a “yep.” Our drinks (just a pair of lattes with almond milk, nothing complicated) were very weak(tasted like about a half a shot of espresso in each) and there had clearly been no attempt to froth the milk, it may as well have been microwaved. The extra star is because the flavor of the espresso was actually pretty good, despite the barista’s best efforts to ruin it.
