We have been buying from FIAT of Birmingham since 2011. We drive all the way from Huntsville to buy our vehicles and get them serviced. The sales staff is the most trained and knowledgeable weve ever done business with....they also treat you like family. They are so dedicated to keeping their customers happy that when I was in the market for a new Jeep Wrangler the sales staff actually found the Wrangler I wanted and made the sale. At this time we have 3 vehicles we have purchased from them.
Oil Service and FCA Recall for potentially excessive oil consumption.Well executed, on time, the team took good care of everything, including myself, tge customer.
FIAT of Birmingham has a great service dept. Tom is so kind and helpful. They take me to work when I drop my car off for service. I dont trust anyone else with my vehicles.
I live in Miami and my daughter attends University of Alabama. My daughter needed a larger car and she liked the Fiat so she went to the Fiat dealer and met Beau Beggs @[email protected] made the transaction smooth and painless. If you are looking for helpful, polite salesperson, I highly recommend Beau !! Thank you.
Our visit was very enjoyable as we were welcomed and engaged by a very polite and knowledgeable salesperson. Our salesperson let us test drive a Fiat 500X which was very enjoyable to drive and has very impressive Italian styling and features. The salesperson was very nice to talk with and answered all our questions patiently and listened attentively to what we were interested in. I was surprised by the contrast to other places Ive been.
The service team here has been more than amazing! We were traveling through and broke down, not only did they take care of me, my daughter, my mom, and niece, they made sure to keep in touch while we waited on the tow and assured they would have us back on the road today.James and Jonathan both took my call each time and made me feel as though I was the only one who mattered at the moment.Herb assisted in getting us to a room for the night and was beyond helpful.Thank you ALL for making an extremely stressful situation much less painful.
This place is awesome. Mr. Garrett Bowling is a great salesman. He was very professional, honest, polite. I would highly recommend him to anyone.
They were super great when I brought my fiat 500 sport for its 40000 mile tune up. I had to drive in from MS . They gave me a loaner to use for the week . They called and said they needed to change out the water pump and that it was cover by warranty and would need another week to keep the loaner. Jon called when it was ready and I said Id pick up on Memorial Day. He said no problem. However when I got there the car was brought to me the gas light was on ( it had a 3rd of a tank when dropped off) but I just went across street filled up since we had been driving a while I was ready to go home. We piled our luggage in the back and headed out . There was a bumping noise and we thought it was our luggage but it wasnt the tire was rubbing on the back right . We called dealership to see if they could pick us up or call a tow truck but they said to drive it back in.We did they said they would have to keep it no repair person was there they gave us a loaner after 3 hours and sent us on our way. Then called said our axle was bent the next day and they dont know how it happened but that the service manager would have to call us. 5 hours later after I had left messages and called the manager finally called said he didnt know what was going on he would go check see what was going on and call us back. Now they are saying its not the axle and its something else. So far not resolution. Apparently they either damaged the car while lifting onto rack or took it for a joy ride and wrecked it. So be careful your perfectly awesome car could be ruined by their employees.
I came to Fiat of Birmingham to get the oil changed on my 2013 Fiat Sport. The dealership is beautiful, comfortable and has a nice selection of Fiats, Maserati, Alfa Romanos, and other European luxury cars. I never felt intimidated or uncomfortable when looking at several cars. They also have a used selection of cars. I would recommend this dealership for purchases and service.
I visited many other dealerships while researching my next car purchase. Most of them were pushy and quite frankly didnt even take the time to listen to MY needs. My experience here was refreshing and I can not believe it took me so long to visit. The entire FIAT of Birmingham staff is hands down amazing! Stephine and Jonathan were knowledgeable and answered all of my (many) questions. These guys made sure I got exactly what I wanted and went far above and beyond my wildest expectations. THANK YOU!!!!! I am forever a fan
When my 2015 Fiat 500C was crushed by a tree, I knew I wanted another Fiat. I didnt want to settle for a white, black or grey one. I wanted a green or orange one. I searched in ever-widening distances from home and finally found what I wanted five hours away. Thats a little far to drive for a car, so I called Jonathan at Fiat of Bham to see what we do to get the car to us. Three phone calls later, I had a new car. We have purchased several vehicles from this company and will continue to go to them for future purchases. They never pressure and they have very good prices.
We have enjoyed our little car thanks guys.
My family has had nothing but great experiences at Fiat of B’ham. We actually own 3 Fiats. Great people & service.
Ive bought four cars from Jonathan at Fiat/Alfa Romeo of Birmingham over the years. Always smooth easy transactions. I highly recommend him and the dealership. Fiat and Alfa arent regular cars, the staff at FOB are enthusiastic about both marques, something very important!
Attempted buying a vehicle TWO different times here, but I was treated like garbage. I was told twice that the salesman Beau was there. I drove there and he wasn’t actually there either time. They also refused to use my pre-approval letter from my credit union and wanted to run my credit again. This was not a pleasant experience. If I were a man, they would have treated me differently. Not recommended for females. Girl power!!!
Took my car for a recall and the manager was rude on the phone for no reason and hanging up the phone. Talk to people with respect please.
James was great on the phone and in person. The work was completed earlier than expected!
Love this place. Everybody is super easy going and nice. Even going for service is nice.
Love my Fiat 500 L. This is far the BEST place to buy from along with a great Service center.
Bought a used jeep grand cherokee from them and within a few weeks the jeep started losing power while driving, very dangerous, which I have been to numerous mechanics, but they cant find the problem, I shouldnt have this problem after only owning it a few weeks. I have notified my salesman about the issue, but just told to take to it to the nearest jeep dealership. Also, I had asked if the sunroof had any leaks before I purchased the vehicle and was told it was fine, it leaked all in the floor board the first time it rained after purchasing. Nothing was checked on this vehicle before selling it. And they have made no effort to remedy this situation, THEY DONT CARE!! This is extremely dangerous when your car stops working and youre driving, you cant steer it, the brakes wont work and you are in the middle of the highway with traffic. If anyone that manages, owns or works here, how would you feel if you or your family bought a vehicle and found this out within a few weeks after driving it and something bad happened in an accident? I realize money is more important to you than my life!
Love this place and they always take good care of you!
I took my fiat in for a tune-up and oil change and for them to look at perhaps a computer glitch. The car was running really well. At the end of the first day I called and finally got in touch with the service guy. He said that the oil light was coming on but it wasnt a problem. He said they should keep the car an additional day to replace a sensor. My total bill at that time was $168.00. On day two I could not get in touch with anyone. On day three I was told that it may not be a sensor and probable that is is a clog somewhere and the mechanic would get on it the next morning (thursday). So thursday afternoon I got through to the service technician who assured me that the mechanic had not gotten to it but it was first on the list for friday. They said that they thought it may be the oil pump. (Remeber the car was running well). So friday late afternoon came and I had heard nothing. Late, late I got the technician who said that they were still uncertain could they keep the car over the weekend. I had no choice. On Monday I received no call. I called and called and got the technician who told me they were convinced ????? convinced that it was either and called me backthe oil pump or a seal deep in the engine. It had been nine days with various excuses. I asked if the mrchanic was working on it. The tech told me that the MECHANIC WAS OUT OF TON AND WOULDNT BE AT WORK THIS WEEK. I asked him to please total my bill. He was out of the office but told me he would get back and let me know. Three hours later he gonally called and told me the bill was $616.70. I asked if the car was fixed and he told me NO. I paid the freakin bill and left knowing that I had spent 8 long days and nights with my car at the worst excuse for car service IN THE WORLD. Stay away Fiat owners. Stay far away.....go to Huntsville, Atlanta..go anywhere except Fiat of Birmingham.Nice people, terrible service, innept mechanics and HIGH PRICES FOR NOTHING.THE WORST EXPERIENCE I HAVE EVER HAD WITH AN AUTO DEALERSHIP IN MY 67 YEARS ON EARTH.
Service department was top notchShawn was very helpful an knowledgeable
Pleasant and prompt service.
Yes! 5 Stars!
Staff not very helpful. I guess they have a type they sell to. I was there to buy a car but didnt feel like the salesman was trying to sell the car.
A visit that already dates back to January 2014!We had passed there on January 16, 2014 with our new Fiat while we were heading to Mexico. We were received very friendly by the team in place. Kimberly Spitzer was then director. We only stopped to visit this dealership and the team insisted on washing our car for free, outside and inside as well. We were seated comfortably during this time and free beverages were offered to us. We very much enjoyed our visit and we also felt very appreciated as customers even if we came from Quebec (Canada). We then took several photos that we want to share with you. We no longer have the Fiat that you see in the photo. We had traveled 32,000 km at the time in Mexico and the United States to California. We have another one thereafter until November 2019. If this dealer is still as welcoming with staff as friendly as in 2014, we would be very happy for you.Reviewed May 11, 2020 in Salaberry de Valleyfield, Quebec, Canada.
