Great customer service. When I scheduled my appointment they scheduled me to get a loaner. The made the process for dropping off my car smooth. They already had my loaner pulled up so when we got done with the paperwork I just got in and went to work. They called and kept me updated on my car as well as when it would be ready. When I returned they had my car pulled up to the front. This was great experience.

Fabulous, professional experience having my vehicle repaired under factory warranty. After being left hanging by the dealership that I purchased from, LR of Birmingham made it right quickly and efficiently (including coordinating having my vehicle towed 100 miles each way). I worked with one of your salespeople for over a week on an incoming vehicle and completed the paperwork to leave a deposit after reviewing the spec sheet. I was then called by a sales manager who informed me that he had been out for a week and that the vehicle was already spoken for. A corporate dealership should have the support staff to run a business operation that is customer service oriented even in someone’s absence. Further, the sales person tried to cover their tracks by sending me a DIFFERENT spec sheet showing a customer name that magically appeared even after I re-sent her the exact one she sent me where the field was blank. It’s simply bad business and to not simply admit the mistake of double-selling made it even worse.

I purchased a 2021 RR Sport HST less than a year ago. The chip that allows for internet access/navigation was missing. I was told I would receive it in the mail, but never have. I purchased the extended warranty(ies) and never received any documentation for the warranties I purchased, despite calling and explaining that I need to see what is covered due to some issues with the vehicle. I have called the dealership multiple times to inquire and keep getting the run around. Perhaps the warranties have never been purchased and someone pocketed the money?? At this point, i can only speculate as to why i would not have received anything on the warranties, despite them being listed on my purchase agreement. I live approx 3 hours away, so I cant just drop by and hound them. Furthermore, I have never had more issues with a vehicle than I have with this one! I believe there is some sort of computer/electrical issues. One of the screens randomly stop working, the gauges switch from C to F and back randomly, and I keep getting random alerts. Of all of the vehicles I have owned, I would not recommend the Sport HST. I am extremely frustrated and disappointed. The sales person was fantastic and even the service department people I have spoken with have been wonderful. Unfortunately, I did not get what I paid for and the finance manager, to whom I was told I needed to speak with and have left multiple messages for, has not communicated with me since I left the dealership. Two stars for the excellent sales personnel, otherwise it would have been 0 or 1.

We currently own a 2016 Range Rover which we purchased from Land Rover Bham. The equipment has served us well and has been an enjoyable owner experience.As with any mechanical Piece of equipment servicing it properly is essential to long life and the service professionals at LRBham are certainly professional as well as highly skilled. However those in the service department are rarely seen but they have a person that represents them and his name is Leeman Tillery. If only we could go lower than 1 star. Service department is beyond poor. $540(!) for what I thought was going to be just an oil change and tire rotation.Had my car for a month and a half because of a dead battery and a main seal leak. Got one phone call that vehicle had been received 2 days after they received it (it had to be towed to their dealership). Never received another phone call about status for 6+ weeks.I finally called myself - with the service person saying, oh yeah, youve been ready. For how long? Who knows. (I didnt push it myself because the last few times they didnt call me either, I just kind of wanted to see if they ever would - my car would have been there forever if I had not called. More than six weeks!)Arrived at dealership to get my car - which is a leased vehicle. All items were under warranty (battery, the leak parts), but they gave me an invoice for $540 for their service fee. I said that was a bit steep for an oil change - and he said they did a whole bunch of other stuff as well as a part of the service. (A pollen filter... in January/February) He said, Didnt you agree to this? I said that on that initial call six weeks prior I had agreed over the phone to an oil change and tire rotation.Went back to check with his supervisor. 10 minutes or so later, come out and have it reduced to just over $300. Thats still too much, but I considered it my price to just walk away forever. The supervisor asked me about where I get my car serviced because he hadnt worked on it before.Well... funny story. (Which I didnt tell him at the time because I was over it.) I actually had taken these guys my vehicle the prior July because of a main seal leak! The mechanics who typically work on my car (just oil changes) told me about the leak and that since I was under warranty/leasing, I should take it to the dealership. I left it with Land Rover for over a week - of course, I had to do all the calling and following up for when it was ready to pick up. Went back to pick up my car - and service guy says they didnt find a leak. I told him that wasnt true. He didnt say anything.Took my car back to my mechanics (Vulcan Tire & Auto), who took my car, put it up on the lift, and walked me over to it, had me slide my hand across that seal - OIL all over my hand. Vulcan mechanic told me, if he says theres no leak, he either doesnt know what hes doing, he never checked, or hes lying to you.So Land Rover HAD the opportunity to work on my vehicle, and I guess they didnt even put it in the system? Who knows. Its a real shoddy operation over there. Nobody cares at all. Just want to hit you as hard as you can one time, and if youre dumb enough to go back, shame on you.Cannot wait to turn my car back in in a few months and never deal with these people again.

My wife found a 2020 Range Rover Velar that she absolutely loved. She had been talking with the salesman and was told that there was 0% interest on all 2020 Velars(in writing). We made the 4 hour drive to go and purchase it. When we arrived we test drove the car and sat down to do paperwork. When they brought out paperwork they would not honor the 0% interest. Due to the vehicle being a “service loaner”. I showed them in writing where it was stated that they would do 0% and was told “well that is incorrect”. I honestly felt like they just wanted to get us in there and once in there they could figure it out. When I told them it was a no go, they could care less and attempted to put us in a much more expensive vehicle. So 8 hours in a car and a wasted day because they would not honor what was put in writing in a text message. I could have driven to another location that was only an hour away but they did not have the exact one my wife wanted. I called the Sales Manager, before writing a review to try to let him right the issue, but didn’t get a call back.

Very Very Unprofessional i called this dealership yesterday several times in regards to purchasing a 2018 Range Rover Sport that had been in there inventory for over a month tried to give them business the dealership gave me the run around i spoke with John who also gave me the run around and was asking very weird questions as if he was assuming things like why am i interested in buying a call in Alabama what type of question is that are people not allowed to buy out of state then never called back which is very unprofessional then i go on there inventory today and the car is offline ill never recommend a company like this to anyone

Less then impressed with interactions related to service department. Brought my vehicle in and told them what was wrong. They did not take time to look at it or evaluate it and now bringing it back in with the same issue. I have read a lot of the reviews on here and do think they do not make it a priority to take care of there customers. I also wonder if some of the other 5 star reviews are doctored. I own a 2016 Range rover autobiography and normally service it at World Class Motors in Gardendale. They will do quality work (including service packages (oil, etc)) and Im not paying the 350 bucks they want at the dealership. They (WCM) actually diagnosed my car problem originally before LR Birmingham ignored it. The reason we brought it to LR dealership is we thought we were under warranty and that they would fix it but that was another cluster@!#$. If you need work done but dont necessarily want to pay dealership prices you may try World Class Motors.

Awful experience! Purchased Range Rover sport last year and have been having major problems with the vehicle since they day of purchase. Test drove vehicle and it seemed as if it were the perfect vehicle. Did paperwork and purchase was final. Went to pick vehicle up a couple days later because I was told it wasn’t ready, got to the dealership and vehicle was dirty and hadn’t been cleaned or washed from people test driving, on the way driving home blind spot sensor popped on, I called back and expressed my concerns however til this day nothing has been done, a couple months later the car wouldn’t lock and kept beeping, nothing has been done about that! Check engine light came on, I called and informed them of this, nothing has been done! It was raining two days ago and while using the windshield wiper it flew off the side of the car and is hanging in between the door and rear view mirror, called about this and nothing has been done! All in all they are selling lemons and poor customer service! I have called several times with concerns, provided pictures, and NOTHING has been done!

I bought my 2020 Land Rover Discovery new from this dealership. It has 6,000 miles on it and has been out the shop twice already. First, the air would stop working intermittently. When I called and told the service department my air was not functioning at all, I was told it would be 2 weeks before I could get an appointment. It was 90 degrees outside and I have children. I finally got the manager on the phone and he was able to get me in sooner. Then they didn’t actually fix it. They told me they “updated the software?” and that it would be ok. More problems emerged. My screen started blacking out off and on. The air would go in and out. Then, while driving with my kids in the car, the power steering went out. The back seat raises and lowers by itself. About the same time, and unrelated, I noticed a bubble in the side wall of my front tire. I was told after 3 days at the service department, (and they hadn’t even looked at it after 24 hours)that they “updated the software”...and that the tire isn’t covered bc it has to be from an impact. I can assure you there has been no impact. Then they wanted to charge me $353 for a tire that costs $299 everywhere else. That is without installation of $48. They would not budge on this price even though I could provide quotes from other dealers. So now I’m off to pick up my car with a sidewall bubble in the hopes it makes it to the next tire place. Do not buy this car. And do not go to this dealership.

I purchased my 2017 Range Rover Evoque directly from this dealership. I had a Gearbox Fault breakdown on a Wednesday morning. My vehicle was certified pre-owned with a warranty that extended to 100k miles. I had only driven 17k total miles since the purchase of the vehicle. I was told by the service center manager and the General Manager that my vehicle still had not even been looked at the following Saturday afternoon when I called to check on the status. I was told that I would not be provided with any means of a courtesy car/rental, or priority for my vehicle to be diagnosed, because I had not scheduled an appointment. How on earth could I have scheduled an appointment for a gearbox malfunction leaving the vehicle completely inoperable? I have since filed a complaint with the corporate office and will never be using this dealership again. I had been happy with my vehicle, but will absolutely be trading back for an Acura (had one previously) where customer service and the courtesy of not leaving a person stranded is a priority. Utterly disappointed.

My experience as always was great. My wife gives me a time limit when I go to the dealership because I tend to spend so much time talking to the guys in parts, sales and service. It has really become like visiting family, from talking cars with Jeff or asking about whats coming out next with Barrett. The service experience as always stellar. I think Leeman was my expert on this day. He was kind and prompt. He got me in a loaner and I was off within the 20 minutes that my wife gave me. They couldnt find the noise so Dan at Rover really went the extra mile for me, he drove around with me until we were able to replicate the noise. Mind you this guy is the service Manager. Thats why i keep buying these trucks, I come for the trucks and I stay for the service.

My wife Leased a new Land Rover Evoke from Land Rover Birmingham on February 2, 2018. The salesman was the nicest guy we have ever met and we have no problem with him. My problem came when I got my payment statement. The payment was almost $50 more than what was on the contract. After making these payments for three months I called the dealership and they told me my problem was with chase auto. So I called them and they told me my usage tax had changed because I moved. I moved 20 minutes from where I was and the tax rate was exactly the same. We (Me, My wife, and the finance Manager from Land Rover Birmingham) got on a conference call with Chase. They were not nice, argued with us and would not let us talk to a manager. They said they would review it and let us know. Then I got a check in the mail from them and thought everything was good. The next month I made the correct payment and then they showed me delinquent because I did not pay the extra $44 on my payment that was not even on my statement. My problem may be with Chase but we signed at Land Rover Birmingham and I think they should have done more to help me with this problem. I never got a follow up call to see if this was fixed. Now the only way I know to fix this is by trading the vehicle off. Very unhappy with Land Rover, Chase Bank and Land Rover Birmingham.

Really fantastic customer service by the team. They gave me a loaner and returned my vehicle to me with the problem solved and my vehicle spotless. They also didn’t try to sell me any services that I didn’t need which I appreciate.

Let me tell you that this is THE PLACE to buy a Land Rover. From the initial visit to the drive off, I was treated great! I had the pleasure of working with Daniel M. -- a true professional who did everything I expected as a buyer. When buying a Land Rover product, they do not Have to sell, but Daniel did everything that I asked of him and helped make the experience for me and my wife perfect.If you are in the southeast and can get to LR BHAM-- I highly recommend it!Thanks to the entire group who cared about each and every last detail.

We had a warranty repair - got in quickly and were given a loaner car. Everyone is very helpful and efficient. Would be 5 stars if waiting area was more like Audis- not really set up for customers

DO NOT ever purchase a Land Rover! They have the worse reliability of almost any brand. Constant headaches with the engine, electronic, interior, etc. Land Rovers also are very over priced, and do not hold their value.This coming from a former owner. Do your own research if you do not believe me. This dealership is also very unprofessional!

So far my experience has not been pleasant and it is getting worse as we speak. I bought 2016 Truck from them, it’s not their branded vehicle, but it was a great deal and just what I wanted. Upon test driving the vehicle, the salesman and myself noticed a vibration. He assured me that he was aware and it was just an alignment and they would fix it. After falling in love with the physical appearance of the vehicle, I proceeded with the purchase. After I purchase the vehicle, they detailed it and broke the window panel. He was going to disregard this and not tell me. I got a few miles up the road and started to rattle and almost come off, so I came back and they glued it on temporarily and agreed to order the part and fix it. No problem. Well after driving the truck, the vibration worsened. I couldn’t get my salesman to call me back or anyone for that matter. I was told to call Erin and she would set up the service. I talked to Erin, she said no, that’s your salesman’s responsibility. So after feeling like the truck was going to completely give out, I stopped by a dealership that sales this brand truck and they told me that based on the symptoms given, the torque converter was bad. So by this time I am panicking and still can’t reach anyone. I finally text my salesman and he told me to meet him at the dealership at 9 on a Friday. I’m late for work getting there and he’s not even there. I text him and tells me to find Dan. So at this point I’m walking around the dealership looking for Dan. Shouldn’t he be finding me? I’m the customer. I finally get someone to tell me that Dan is on the lot and he will be with me shortly. Dan and the technician drive the car AFTER I tell them what I’ve alre found out and they agree that the torque converter needs to be replaced. They have now had the truck for over a week. No one had called me to update me or anything until I called them. I then tell them since we have discovered that the Truck didn’t just need an alignment, that I would like to take it to have a comprehensive check at a dealer that specializes in this type of vehicle at their expense(which is only $130). After speaking with Floyd, sales manager, who tells me “we aren’t responsible for something that happens 5miles down the road”. Clearly he’s just being “the big guy” cause he apparently isn’t familiar with the situation. This didn’t happen 5miles down the road. Your salesman knew about it upon test driving. I then speak to Lily, another manager, who is very condescending and sarcastic in telling me that their technician can check the vehicle. But their technician apparently overlooked this issue, so why would I want him to check it again. She then gets really nasty with me and over-talking me, so I tell her that I would seek legal advice or go another route. She tells me “well you don’t have to call me back then” and hung up the phone. She didn’t try to compromise or save me as a customer, just basically told me to do what I wanted to do. They have basically secured my funds and could care less about what’s going on at this point. Also, the finance manager, was very unprofessional after learning that I had my own financing. He promised me better rates and after he couldn’t get them, he didn’t say anything else to me. Didn’t tell me the results of his findings or anything, just proceeded with finalizing the transaction as if nothing happened. Maybe they are better with their brand vehicles and customers that they “like”, but my experience has been unsatisfactory. I didn’t expect it to go this way because before they got my money, Barrett, my salesman, was so nice. And just to add, he has yet to call me or follow up on any of this. I guess he has gotten his profit and done his due diligence. I don’t recommend anyone doing business with them based on the experience I have had.

Went in to get a key made and a diagnostics. I drove a tow truck with a Land rover on the back for 4 hours to get there. I arrived before they were open. I was first in line and was told on the phone the day before by the service dept an appointment wasnt necessary for what I needed. Three hours later they still had not even checked me in. The young lady working the service desk put my name and phone number on a post it note and stuck it on the other service members computer with no explanation. Five hours later they finished the key and told me they could not do the diagnostics today because several people showed up without appointments. Like I said, I arrived before they even opened and was first in line. Also told I didnt need an appointment when I asked for an appointment. Apparently they expected me to spend the night if I wanted more than one thing done. Long story short, I would say find a different service dept but they are the only one for a long distance. So, I guess your stock. My recommendation, dont buy a Land Rover.Also charged $19.18 for environmental waste disposal/misc. for getting a key made. This place will rob you with a smile.
