The employees are very knowledgeable and over and above helpful. Down to offering a paper towel to dry your forehead after trying on clothes. This place IS the place for big and tall mens apparel. They only carry one brand for sweats though. Exclusive Contract that does NOT serve their customers best interests.

Great store, I enjoy shopping here. Every time Ive come here, Kirk has been working, and hes always extremely helpful and friendly. All of the clothes are sized to fit you properly without weird proportions; its not just regular sizes awkwardly scaled up like youd see at regular stores. Highly recommended if youre at the larger end of the spectrum.

They had a nice selection of mens big and tall clothing in addition to a wide variety of styles and fabrics. Their prices are a little steep but worth the quality you get in exchange!

I like shopping at DXL, as I can almost always find just what I am looking for. Recently I had to replace some worn out MENS pants belts. Although I wasnt able to replace them with the same type I had used before ; what I did buy was much better. I bought two TOMMY HILFIGER belts, which are of excellent quality and do the job. I am not familiar with this brand, but plan to buy more when I can afford to do so again.

Person on the other end was very knowledgeable of available merchandise.Drove here, opened the store doors, and was met with employees who were happy. I asked about shoes, and was shown their shoe section. One employee (without me having to ask), went to the back room and found what I was looking for (genre) in clearance. And... the shoes were a great recommendation that I bought it.I tried on a few pairs, and bought another. This time the one on the shelf. I thought that was very inconvenient that a tall and big mens store would not have a larger selection of slacks in 34 length. There were only three styles in the store and the salesman mentioned that that was a typical occurrence. Very misrepresentative of the stores target customer.

Decent quality clothes that fit. I have always gotten great customer service here. I only give 5 stars if they they earned it. These guys have earned it the 10 times I have been there. Highly recommend if your a 2x-5x sized man. If they dont have something you want, they will order it for you and have it shipped right to your door. They have a good selection whether your looking for jeans and a shirt, casual wear, or suits.

This was the second time coming into the Alderwood Store. It made me remember why I should only buy from the online store if at all.Bought three shirts for $150 on Fathers day. After the transaction I realized that the company that continuously spams my emails and mailbox telling me about their specials and percentage off $100 or more. That they wouldnt have ANY deals for their customers who came into the store on Fathers Day. I asked Brian the guys checking me out if they were having any deals for Fathers day and he said no that they had mailed out a flyer but the customers dont use them. He then continued to explain to me that the online company does different deals and they have nothing to do with the store other than being part of the same company.The guys just wouldnt shut up about why there werent any deals for fathers day. Reminded me of the snarky employee I ran into the last time I went here. Just not worth the hassle. Will never come back into this store.

Its ok for generic clothes for the bigger gentleman but a bit pricier than your usual clothier. The staff are nice.

I had a great time at the store getting everything I needed. Yet, it’s the after experience that needs some help. I’ve unsubscribed three times and I still get coupons, surveys, and asks for reviews. I had a very pleasant shopping experience. This DXL store is a long way from home, so I do not come often, but I am always treated well when I do. The staff are very attentive and eager to help; they are quick with advice, very knowledgeable about all their products, and help me keep track of my purchases, they remove all the tags when I am done and even let me wear my new purchases home. I would recommend them highly to other folks like me that are not fat, but fluffy!

This place thinks it has high value brands, which they have a few. Everything else is DXL named products, harbor bay, etc... Their prices are 20-25% higher than the manufacturers online site. I spent close to $1000 in one trip, and was handed off to a junior salesmen, he was friendly but they need people who know how to provide Service consistent with their prices.

This clothing store has everything one could need. The staff is helpful, knowledgeable, and very friendly. They are a bit pricey, but I found everything I needed including the first pair of comfortable shoes for at least 20 years.

So DXL is a mixed feeling place. I appreciate as a bigger guy being able to go somewhere that has clothes that fits me. On the flip side, the prices are ridiculously high. It’s clearly because they have the market and not because the cost of the additional materials due to size. I get it should cost a little more than regular sized clothes, but they are extreme.

Orlando helped my husband get a shirt for a wedding we are in today. He went above and beyond and was amazing to work with. My husband said he was the nicest sale person he has ever worked with.

Im a big guy so I stopped in... WOW. It was like I had my own personal shopper and stylist. Clothes selection was very good... But the service was amazing! They brought me sizes, different options, helped pair things together. It was several cuts above any other apparel place I have been.

Regardless of your big-&-tall sartorial requirements, these folks will work diligently and efficiently to outfit you with good clothes. If its something outside of their own expertise, they will give you their best estimate of who else locally could carry the category of product that youre after.

This is not the same level of service that Casual Male used to provide and the store was half the size with less than half the staff. Granted the new store is very nice and has a nice selection. However, for the price of the clothes, the customer service ought to be outstanding. If I want to dig through piles and racks of shirts to find the right size or keep hunting down a sales person to get another size off the top rack, Ill go to a non-specialty retailer where I dont have to spend an arm and a leg for an item. Hopefully the poor customer service is due to the lack of training and experience by all the new staff. If that is the case, the sales associates from the old store really need to show the new ones what great customer service looks like.

Great place. Always experienced issues finding clothes that fit. This place is a wonderland. Love Oak Hill shorts....lots of options for dress and casual....and everything in btw. Alderwood is the best. Customer service....a standard above.

All of the associates know exactly what you want even before you do. Its uncanny, but you trust them because they are so confident. I tell all of my friends to go here and you should to.

Everytime we go in to shop, the people there are always quick to greet us and ask if we need anything. They help us find sizes and colors, or take our selections up to the register so were not hauling it around. Its also nice to have one place where we can find all the sizes my boyfriend needs.

Really, really, REALLY, expensive clothes. Sizes vary depending on brand so I suggest that you go to the store to try on various brands and then order online because they usually offer a discount on some brands or have a sale. Returns to the store are pretty easy but the location is not at all convenient for me.I really wish there were an alternative for someone my size but this is pretty much the only choice for anything decent.Staff is typical of most retail stores so dont expect to be blown away by theirenthusiasm or product knowledge.Overall, the experience is average, hence the 3 rating and the reason I mostly shop online.YMMV...

The service here is great. DXL has good quality big and tall clothes for everyone. I bought 5 button up work shirts, one work polo, one pail of Levis, a dress belt, and 4 t sirts with logos (Star Wars, Captain America, etc) for $560 after tax. Not bad and like I said the quality is top notch. The customer service is like going to Nordstroms. Its and all around great experience. You can be a XL or XXL and find all sorts of clothes there. You can shop online or have stuff sent to you. I recomend this location highly.

Expensive clothes. Sixty dollars for a short sleeve white dress shirt. Nothing fancy. Clerks are rude and look down their noses at you. Only reason we stopped was because xlarge hubby needed new dress shirt for church. Will not be back.

I would love to give 5 stars because of the amazing staff. I had to knock off a star because the other day when I came in to return an online order, one of the employees kept whispering F***k my life under their breath. I get it, we all have those days, but, if youre going to work in customer service, dont let the CUSTOMER see it! Major turn off for me. I have awful social anxiety and its making me nervous to return the rest of my online order because I dont want to make someones day more stressful.. Other than that experience, amazing staff has always been extremely helpful and so friendly! Also, the clothes look absolutely fantastic, they sometimes feel cheap though for a $50-70, made by a pretty much unknown designer. I like my clothing to feel more reliable, like Ralph Laurens. So you might as well spend the extra $30 for a more lasting material. I do find myself returning a decent amount of my online purchases because of this. DXL does have absolutely amazing sales though. Highly reccomend giving your email! (They do send TONS of emails but its something you just have to deal with if you want to get notified for the sales) **WARNING** Prices are EXTREMELY high, I understand there being a lucrative market for plus size mens clothes but, definitely doesnt fit everyones financial situation. If youre shopping on a budget for nicer work clothes, I highly recommend JCPennies Big&Tall selection. All things considered, I am a big fan of the store and will likely continue to shop here!
