Truck driver hit our roof. No apology, just took my check and had me sign the receipt for the dirt.I took three days of calling them before I got a response.I requested compensation in the amount of the cheapest of the three estimates I was given(Im not trying to stick it to a local business), plus a refund of the delivery fee( feels wrong to have to pay for someone to demolish part of my house).Three reminder texts to the owner and over a month later we received a check in the amount of the the cheapest estimate. Nothing to make up for our lost time or the inconvenience.A disappointing experience, to be sure. Two stars because they did eventually pay for the damages.

My wife ordered a full semi truck of compost from this company in mid winter. As spring came along she re-contacted the company to confirm and have the 49 yard load delivered. The company named their price for the compost and delivery it was promptly agreed to by my wife. The day came for the delivery to be made and I was tied to work for the day so my wife stayed home to great, pay and instruct where to dump the load. We placed an orange cone where weve had numerous other loads of material dropped to our 26 acre property in the past. Unfortunately, the Rocky Mtn Compost driver was very very inexperienced and had no idea how to back up a truck. After what ended up being over an hour of the driver trying to back up the semi truck it was dropped on the other side of the house in the middle of the north driveway. Meanwhile the truck maneuvered into a circle driveway meant for passenger cars. Unfortunately, the concrete landscape curbing got crushed and sunk into the ground in several spots. The driver took a few pics and said she was very sorry and that her boss would make it right. After several days my wife called Brice the owner and he said that he would look into it and wanted the keep the lines of communication open and provide good customer service. After another nearly 2 weeks we had not heard back so my wife choose to call and check in with Brice. At that time Brice said he was only willing to give us $100 for the damage as that was the best he could do. He really didnt seem to care about the damage and said he is not responsible for the damage his truck did. In the end we never did receive the $100 from Brice. Ultimately, that wouldnt even have covered 10% of cost of the damage. The compost looks good but I thought this experience with the owner should be shared.

Dont go ANYWHERE ELSE. These guys are 100% SUPER people and extremely pleasant to deal with. Your satisfaction and their customer service is their highest priority. VERY reasonable and sincerely a pleasure to do business with. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!

Went to Rocky Mountain Compost for just a few cubic yards. They were amazing, they treated me wonderfully, even with a small order. They were professional and so helpful!

The staff was friendly and helpful for my first time doing business with them. I went to them for playground chips for my kids play set. They took great care while loading out my pickup. I would definitely recommend them.
