I waited to post a review until I had actually spent time with my first vehicle from MB of Billings, so that I could give a review of the entire business and not just the sales dept. Now that I have purchased my second vehicle through MBofB I think its fair to say that I wont shop elsewhere. I have worked with Ben both times and the sales process was simple and relaxed thanks to his expertise. The service dept really does an exceptional job and is perhaps the key reason to own a Mercedes. Parts department has worked with me on everything I have needed and were incredibly timely, something I wasnt expecting. I wouldnt recommend any other brand from any other dealership.

The people are not friendly at all and didnt seem interested in answering questions or promoting the brand whatsoever. Customer service definitely zero stars! However the location was extremely impressive, it was clean and well maintained! 10+ stars to there public restrooms.

Kyle to the rescue! Had issues with our Winnebago View (Sprinter chassis) and had to divert to the nearest Mercedes dealer. We were pleasantly surprised by the prompt attention we received as a drop in to the service department. Kyle was able to work us in and his honesty and knowledge were both refreshing and appreciated! He clearly explained our issues and all the options. We were on our way fully confident that we came to the right place and were taken care of by the right guy... Kyle! Thanks again!

Thank you Shawn and Andrew!!! Driving our Mercedes RV from CA to WI and back we found our check engine light on and the oil a little low in Billings. With 1200 miles left before home we didn’t want to push our luck and stopped in. They were super busy but took the time to grab a quart of oil and read the sensor for us to ensure we could get back on the road safely. Appreciate the help!!! Awesome service from this crew.

Very poor customer service! Never return phone calls. Just paid four digit charge for fortyk mile checkup and tune up on my Sprinter with 28k miles on it. Everything was to be done since it sat for year and a half. Less than 500.miles and fluid level lights came on. Out of DEF fluid! In the middle of nowhere. Luckily I had some with me, but vehicle didnt run over 50 mph all the way home. Havent figured out problem yet, and no return calls from MB of Billings. Want to risk it, take it there.

Very easy process to purchase an MB car, price is reasonable and the process is enjoyable. Everyone there seems to take one extra step to help customers and pays attention to details. Might think a 2nd one if this ends up well in the coming years.

Purchased 2021 GLA 45 AMG. We live in Butte and tried to purchase from Billings to keep our business local!! No luck the car we wanted was very limited. Had to go to Pennsylvania. Car broke down with 200 miles on it. Called Kyle in service he took care of everything had the car fixed in one day gave us a loaner… unbelievable service above and beyond.. Zach in sales even set up my Mercedes Me account.. something the dealer in PA should have done.. highly recommend this dealer as everyone is a professional and care about the customers they service.. Very grateful!!

Its almost time for me to buy a new car, but Im not quite ready. There are no Mercedes Benz dealerships near my home in Northwest Montana, so, while on a family trip to Billings, I decided to check out their dealership. I made my circumstances very clear so I wouldnt be misleading or wasting anyones time. What transpired was an unexpected and wonderful surprise.Marco Kuemmerle, my Client Advisor, went out of his way to make my visit feel important to him as a potential future client. He showed me his inventory, let me take a test drive in an amazing 5 Series s460, spent another 45 minutes answering my questions and getting information for me to take with me. He was patient, well informed, helpful and did not pressure me in the least. It was time well spent. When it is time for me to buy, I will most certainly give him a call at the Mercedes Benz of Billings.

You build a business on service. This dealership, which is under new ownership, provided me outstanding service on my Sprinter.I have a lot of experience with Mercedes service departments and found this experience top notch.Never had a mechanic meet me at 6am to service my van. And so pleasant.The Service Manager, Kyle, is easily the most knowledgeable and helpful Manager I’ve ever come across.He scanned my van within 5 minutes and gave me an idea of my issue That never happens. And then worked me into their busy schedule.Amazing service for a a small dealership which covers a huge territory and cross country travelers. I drive 350 miles from Missoula.I highly recommend Mercedes Benz of Billings.

The folks over at MB in Billings did a great job servicing my vehicle. They topped of my radiator fluid, rotated my tires, addressed a recall, looked into my 4x4 engage and disengage mechanism and fixed my hood bar that holds open the hood (I tried closing it without removing the bar and bent it 😬). By the way, they fixed it even though I forgot to mention that it was bent. Thank you!

I want to start off by saying THANK YOU to each and everyone of you at Mercedes-Benz of Billings, Montana. We were towed with our new 2020 Sprinter van. We were up in Yellowstone and our built out van just wouldn’t go. This dealership is soo busy as there isn’t another Mercedes dealer for miles. They were able to look at our van get parts ordered over night. The delivery company decided they didn’t want to deliver all pieces overnight. Well the dealership all came together to fix the problem of a faulty part that had been put in during production. Our van is our home and we are so very thankful that everyone came together! The service team-Bryan, Brent, Ryan, Kyle and in parts Bernie and then Shawn, Eddie, Mark and all the others who stepped in to help. (I truly apologize if I am forgetting names as so many came together) THANK YOU again for getting us back on the road to California. Wow. What else can I say? Fun, low-pressure experience. Marco Kuemmerle and crew were amazing. We had a great time test driving several vehicles. Marco was cool and personable throughout, even when we were indecisive. Car buying is often an excruciating, mind-numbing experience. Mercedes Benz of Billings works hard to avoid that stereotype. And the best part ... Marco is from Germany! Its like this guy was born to sell Mercedes. Definitely give them a shot if youre thinking of a new car.

HUGE thank you to Benjamin, Steve, and Desiree, who each went above and beyond in the purchase of my 2018 G63 from all the way in New Jersey. Ben was great from the start, assisting me in getting an initial idea of numbers and a virtual showing of the vehicle, as well as answering all my logistics questions for transport from Billings to NJ. Steve took care of the financing for me and when we hit a bit of a hiccup due to the differences in fees between states, Desiree stepped in to keep the deal alive with $0 out of pocket like we agreed to. Steve was even able to get me a better rate on my financing and work with me on the extended warranty packages I wanted. As a finance industry professional myself, I am well aware that any team can get a deal done when things are smooth, but how a team reacts when there are obstacles is the true test and this team knocked it out of the park. Documents were overnighted and the G63 was delivered in 2 days. I would definitely recommend Mercedes of Billings. 5 Stars all around.

This was the best and easiest experience I have ever had purchasing a car. I live 1900 miles away, I’d been searching for weeks. Marco and his manager Desiree had the best customer service, neither of them spoke to me like I had no idea what I was doing. They helped me with referring me to the best local company known for shipping cars. You can tell they are actually excited for me about my new G Wagon. Excellent customer service! My vehicle was repaired and serviced for multiple issues. It was at the dealer for over 3 weeks. Due to Covid19, receiving parts was slower than anyone expected, but the quality of service was first class! I live 150 miles away from the dealership in Billings, so they gave me a loaner car so Id have transportation. As a woman, communication was first rate with Service Department and technicians. I will continue to take my car there for service. Im very pleased with the whole experience! They did an excellent job!!

Took my car for an oil change service I get home the same day engine light goes on with a code P052e. I called them to check if its related to the 700$ service they did. But they didnt give a straight answer. The car only has 40k miles and he told me if you want to fix it with us it will cost you 1750.00.Engine light right after a service makes no sense. Car was 100% good before.Not happy at all.

While traveling back from Wyoming I picked up a screw in my front tire which resulted in a slow leak. I pulled into the Billings Mercedes service center and Kyle (in service)...was immediately outside inspecting my tire...he located the problem, took my car right in and within an hour I was back on the road. We are full time RVers and I had a service A on my Sprinter 3500 come due- called up for an appointment and they got me in right away. We were in and out in less than two hours. Great service writer and mechanic. Didn’t try to add anything to the required service, didn’t whine about the aftermarket upfit equipment, and treated me like an active participant in deciding what to do. Way cheaper than other service As I have had at other dealerships. I hope I’m in the area when future service comes due, I’d definitely go back to this shop.

VERY poor customer service. I bought a used car from them (only 11k miles on it), it had some spills inside. I asked them repeatedly to clean it. They told me oh we did have our detailer guy clean it, but hes young, he didnt do a very good job. I just wanted to get the car and leave, and sure enough when I got in, it was still filthy. I asked for rag so I could wipe some things down myself. I had to ask for an extension on the temporary plates because they didnt send registration paperwork on time. And the interactions with the staff were just totally lack luster. I almost bought a comparable car from a mom and pop shop down the road, and really, I wish I had.

Quite disappointing. All the employees were friendly however there was no urgency or respect for our time. We arrived before 8am and were told we needed to get out of our Sprinter Van because it needed to go up on the lift. They would come back in 30mins while we got the dogs out. We waited 3 hours before they took the van into the shop. It was a quick fix, but a long few hours wait in 100 degree temps with 2 dogs. (its our home so we had nowhere else to go). Eventually the technician was done, but waiting for a call from the area technician to approve the changes he was trying to make. We offered to move the van outside so that they could start working on the next van and were told that it didnt matter as they didnt have much going on that day. When we looked outside there were other families waiting in line. At 4pm the area technician had still not called to okay the programming changes they were trying to make. We decided to pay our bill and leave. They attempted to charge us for the programming changes they could not make because their area technician wouldnt answer their phone.

The whole experience was everything a person would expect when buying a Mercedes-Benz. We had struggle coordinating the pickup of the car after it was towed and thay had it for several days. Just calling us back would have made the experience completely different. They did give us a free service, not for the lack of response, but because they had to order a part which took several days. I had quite a bit of maintenance due on my 2007 C230, (serv maintenance B) It is in awesome shape for 63000 mi! Everything was done however, I had a recall on the sunroof. My wife drove the vehicle to the dealer. I was told by the advisor by phone that it was checked and it was fine. I came to town the following day and I checked it and it was not working properly. I had to go back the next day to have it looked at and I was told that there was nothing on the work order regarding checking it. I specifically specified to check it as my wife was coming from out of town 4 hours away. Needless to say, I took it in the next day and they did check it and diagnosed a problem with a cable. There was an estimate of a little over $1,800. I decided to hold off on it for now but I wasnt very happy because when I returned home, I found grease stains all over the sunroof as well as the top of the vehicle and on the side around the doors. It was a messy inspection and I was not happy about that. Mercedes-Benz typically cleans and washes your vehicle after it has been serviced. It was after the first time, but it should have been checked and cleaned again. Had I noticed it before I had left, I would certainly have brought it to the attention of the advisor and Im sure they would have taken care of it but I shouldnt have to do that. So I took the time to clean it myself. Nonetheless, I do recommend this Mercedes-Benz dealership for service, just be clear on what you want and need done.

Every Spring I get new car fever. This year I started searching SUVs online – just for fun. I really did not need a new car; I just love to look. Well…. on March 3rd, I spotted the classiest Mercedes-Benz CLA 250 4Matic in Billings Montana at a price that I could afford! It was a beautiful car for a super price. I filled out the online form expressing my interest. Within minutes I received a call from Marco Kuemmerle who was incredibly helpful and immediately arranged for me to purchase and pick up the car. Since I live in Wyoming, I had to wait until Saturday for a ride to Billings. I have been driving my CLA 250 for one week now and I have loved every minute. Worst customer service of any auto dealership I have ever visited in my 20 years of purchasing vehicles. They have never once returned a call when a message has been left by me in the last year regarding parts of service. Dont try ordering a part for your vehicle unless you go in person because the service desk and parts desk never answer the phone. If you go in better dress like the money you have or you will be ignored. Had 3 assosciates look at me, smirk, and continue to talk. Once I started spending money they all came and apologized, so they are fake as well. I can promise when my current Mercedes is paid off in may, I wont be getting my new one here. I would rather drive to Idaho than purchase here after being constantly treated like I dont exist everytime Ive come here. And dont bother apologizing on here for it, there is no acceptable apology for treating paying customers like this. We are the reason you have a business and we can be the reason your business goes under as well.

I sent a G55 high end Mercedes to Billings for service from Bozeman since the is no Mercedes service here. It was in Billings over a month.I was told that the car would be trailered to and BACK from Billings. I requested a through car review as it was a new purchase.Sat Dec 12th the car was DRIVEN back in a snow storm from Billings NOT trailered.a distance of over 150 miles.The car was filthy, low on gas and the ENGINE FAILURE light was on.My bill came to over $9,000 dollars with such charges as 3 nuts for $21.96 dollars, a $9.76 dollar washer and a SCREW for $12.81.Several items I requested were NOT even repaired.Labor charges on my bill were $4,598 dollars or half the bill.So what do you think?

We were due for large Sprinter Crew 4x4 van B service at 24 K so we knew we would wait awhile on a 100 degree day in Billings. But 6 hours ??! The Service Manager Ryan Burt was called out on his chauvinistic addressing w/ eyes and speech only the male driver w/ Q’s - we both own the Sprinter !The service might have been completed ( our van was parked right outside the window at 4:30 pm) but because Ryan was at the dentist we sat in the dealership maybe longer than necessary w/ no way to leave sooner for our 2 1/2 hour drive home.We will have the service done in Bozeman in the future we hope.

I live a few hundred miles away in a town without a Mercedes Dealership. Spent a long weekend in Billings MT and got my 2009 Mercedes E320 Bluetec serviced, along with some new rear brakes I needed. They were very friendly and helpful. Got a loaner car while the work was done. Service responded promptly to my calls and kept me up to date on my cars status. The service mechanics were very knowledgeable and friendly. My 2009 E320 Bluetec Turbo Diesel was ready the next day. Pleasant Experience

I like to think everyone deserves a second chance. Since my previous review below I can honestly say that Mercedes Benz of Billings has changed for the better. Shortly after my last negative review the dealership owners did a overhaul of their operations and replaced the management team at MB Billings. They kept/maintained a good amount of the previous employees and that is great because the employees were not the issue. I havent spent much time directly interacting with the new management but whatever they are doing, its working! Walking into MB of Billings now feels relaxed and very welcoming. The employees have a positive energy and the whole vibe of the place feels so much better than it did prior to the change in management. Whether its the techs, sales team, parts, or service department, it feels like the employees enjoy their job and are empowered to take care of the customer. My van gets the job done better than any of the competitors vans but that doesnt mean I havent had a few bumps along the way as with any vehicle. The team has worked hard to address my concerns, helped find solutions whether I was at the dealer or a 1,000 miles away, and got me back on the road with quick turnaround. Im happy to see the positive changes at Mercedes Benz of Billings and I would recommend them.Rob Carpenter - 10/31/19---------------------------------------I have always supported buying local and this is actually my second brand new Sprinter Van purchase from Mercedes of Billings. However, when you read my story below youll see why it doesnt matter to Mercedes of Billings, MT whether youre a good customer who supports local business. Youre better off buying your new Mercedes vehicle somewhere else in the country and saving yourself lots of money because Mercedes-Benz of Billings will not take care of you when the vehicle they sold you is a lemon. Purchased a brand new $50,000+ 2017 Mercedes Sprinter Van from them in late September of 2017. The van turned out to be a lemon after 6 months of them trying to repair the van without a resolution. Now that the van has been deemed a lemon by the Montana Department of Justice, Mercedes-Benz USA said they would resolve it in 3-4 weeks. 4 weeks later they now say it may be 3-4 months or longer before they do anything to resolve the issue. MB USA and MB of Billings wont communicate whats happening, or how long it will actually be before they consider a resolution. The worst part is Mercedes Benz of Billings, MT says they cant do anything to help while putting the blame on MB USA. MB USA says they are waiting on information from the dealer so they cant do anything to help me. They use corporate hierarchy, 1-800 numbers, and unknown regional managers you cant speak with to constantly keep you from getting any real answers. This van was purchased to help my Montana based small business grow and now my business and our employees have to endure the financial hardships while Mercedes-Benz of Billings and Mercedes-Benz USA turn a blind eye to burden this has put on our Montana based business. The reality is that lemon vehicles happen, but when a dealer takes your money and youre a good returning customer you expect they will take care of you and make it right instead of just feeding you a bunch of excuses. Aside from my terrible experience with my purchase from MB Billings, I will say Shawn and the service team are a nice group and did what they could to resolve the problem until they had replaced every part related to the vans issues with no resolution.

I worked with Andrea to build my dream GLE. I worked with Rob on the closing of the deal and introduction to my new GLE and finally I worked with Desiree on the financing of the purchase. These three individuals are the Dream Team for Mercedes Benz of Billings. They took care of me from conception until I dont own this M-B any longer.
