Thoughtful, generous, and honest. I rolled into town on a road trip with a bad AC. Without my having to say much, the two gentlemen could tell my car could use an assessment asap. It was the quickest help Ive received in any situation car- or other service-related. Turns out the problem is serious enough to warrant repair when the time comes, but they reassured me it wasnt serious enough to keep me from the trip.Folksll be lucky to come to them in case of urgency.

They are honest, straight up and decent about what they do! Ive been to at LEAST a dozen other auto repair businesses since 1998. Until they sell out or retire??? I am NEVER going anywhere else AGAIN!!!

Im sorry to write this review, because when I first moved into town and brought my car here, I liked the service. However, twice I have set up an appointment and they didnt have it on the books. I live two hours away. The first time I made an appointment a week in advance. I arrived on the day, and they didnt have my appointment on their calendar and they were fully booked and couldnt take me. I decided to give them another try and called 2 weeks in advance for the next appointment. However, this time, I decided to call ahead a day in advance to confirm the appointment. They didnt have it on their calendar. Though the woman on the phone said theyd work me in, of course I couldnt imagine trying them again.

Great job on the AC system in my van. It works great now. Thanks also for working with me to help me save money while getting the highest quality parts and service. I will be back because 3rd Av Auto Repair stands for honesty, quality and service.You can depend on it!

Most honest mechanic I have EVER met. He doesnt charge through the roof either! He will fix it right, whatever it is. Hes worried about the customer and their car running well, more than his wallet. This is what gives him so many loyal customers in the long run. You are guaranteed he will not to fix anything just to fix something. He will find the problem and not try to sell you every additional unnecessary service to rack up your bill. I live down in Colorado now and have taken my car up to Billings just for him to diagnose and fix. Other members of my family have done the same. Sure wish my car now was driveable or that I could tow it up to him. It would definitely be worth the hassle and money to transport it if I could. You will never settle for any other mechanic!

Everyone I have interacted with here were very friendly, knowledgable and efficient. When I needed a new alternator they had my car in and out within a day when every other shop said it would be three or four days. They dont talk down to you and are happy to answer questions. Highly recommend!
