A great name. Huge distributor of top brands. I don’t understand why is going down. Snoozing means death in business, at this time and age. I’m used to buying fragrances “perfumes” from here. They ha e top notch single as well as combination aromas.

Freds on the top floor is a fabulous place to eat at! Great service and delicious food! The view from the patio is pretty nice too if you can get a seat outside. Also if youre looking for the latest and greatest in mens and womens high end fashion this is the place! They carry all the best designers and some you cant easily find elsewhere.

Went a few weeks ago. mostly odd sizes and duplicate pieces left (one rack had at least 20 of the same vetements tee in various sizes.) Some higher end pieces only marked off 25% 🤷🏼‍♂️Fortunately, I was able to find what I wanted in the proper sizing, picked up some decent buys.It was so weird to see Barneys in this state. Most of the associates were nice and eager to help, but some just seemed tired and ready for this closing period to be over. lol.

The service is okay. No one is doing back-flips or anything, but they will answer any questions that you have. The only drawback is that you do have to walk through a sea of tourists in order to get to the store. Beverly Hills isnt my cup of tea either. That being said, I still rank Barneys as a great place for mens fashion--especially if you possess more conservative taste.

Barneys is a great store for high end, unique fashion. Prices are expensive but they always have very interesting clothing. The customer service is always top notch and the store is spotless. Definitely stop by the cologne section in the basement, they have an amazing selection!

My wife loves this place. She has a bit of spending habit and loves the finer designer products. The ladies here are extremely helpful when i came alone to find some things for my wife that she may like. I had no idea what i was looking for but with the help of the pleasant staff i was able to get a few things for my wife that she just loved. Thank you again for the help, I wont forget it.

There is nice food at rooftop.

Price is not very cheap and staff can be rude. Ask for trying a shoe size politely and got this reply “ I am very busy right now I need a minute. You know what? Ask that 2 man standing there, I am not the only one you can ask for help, they work here as well. I am busy .”

It’s a fashion and luxury staple that unfortunately it’s closing.

Now its about to close, so its hard to tell this used to be a upper scale store. This place will be taken off the map very soon.

Needless to say I am a Barneys account holder, but i can see why the company is in a financial strain at certain locations! Girls at YSL counter never greeted me or my daughter. They were busy taking pictures with the products. I’m visiting from Houston, Texas and just wanted to see the actual store, being that I’m only able to shop online from home. The two stars are for all the workers in the shoe department, they were wonderful .....

This used to be one of my favorite places on earth. From the way staff treated it’s customers, to Barneys desire to push fashion forward and take risks, to Fred’s delicious food. Will miss Barneys.

The first time I went there a couple of months ago the Valley parking guy refused to park my car... maybe because I didnt have a Mercedes or a Porsche....And the second time they refused to honor my 300$ gift certificate... so here I am not able to use my 300$... pretty upsetting...Oh well Barneys and farewell....

They closed most Barneys stores, they cant adopt to current times. It was always upscale store, but nowadays same clothes and shoes could be bought online and at different resale stores much much cheaper. They do have sale, but still expensive.

Great store. Great staff, great restaurant, great valet! If youre looking for something different to wear, its a must. Like shopping in EU!

I forgot what its like to be in an upscale store in Beverly Hills. A gracious experience. And a costly one! But when you have money, what a way to live. The restaurant on the top floor is very good. The outdoor patio was wonderful for a nice lunch. The salmon burger was delicious. My friend had pasta with clams and said it was delicious. Then theres the merchandise in the store. It was a rude awakening to see how fine clothes can be. The materials the workmanship the textures the craftsmanship were quite impressive. So are the prices. Im used to a shirt costing $40. But, when a shirt cost 10 times that amount you expect ito be 10 times as good. It is. So I left there with my first $300 shirt. Thank you, John!

Barneys on Wilshire is one of the stores I must always stop by whenever I am in Beverly Hills. Their shoe department has an amazing selection of my favorite designers along with their handbag department. I can never leave this store without stopping by Freds which is located on the top floor. Great food and beautiful view!

Depressing that once risk taker in fashion and maker of designers took such a wrong turn and sadly is bankrupt. When you see some the merchandise and pricing you can understand why. Theyve gone the wrong way baby since the days of the founders the Pressman family.

A nice place to shop 🛍 you can find the designer clothes and shoes 👠 your looking for that you won’t be able to find in a lot of other stores.

Staff a lil indifferent on main floor. Javier in cosmetics made up for them in spades. Kind, patient and e excellent expertise.

All I can say about Barneys is that their online shopping exp. Is wonderful and If I need to return I can easily do it at their store with no problems. And their customer service is above n beyond.

Went there for lunch! Amazing food, generous portions. They wait on you promptly amazing service. Would eat there again. Great place for star spottings :P

I love this Barneys New York in Beverly Hills, its so close to where I work at Beverly Hills Anti Aging so its got lots of great classic items.

High fashion at Beverly hills, my choice was here. Even I didnt purchase any, Dries Van Notten fabrics and mens accessory was awesome, in amazing number of choice. Went there two times but staffs were nice and helpful. Ladies fashion was super interesting.

My fave store. All of the most cutting edge clothing, show and handbags fresh off of the runway plus premiere jewelry from a wide array of designers. The fragrance and makeup department has some really awesome brands and everyone is super sweet and helpful. Great place for shopping while in BH and of course theres the restaurant which overlooks the local neighborhood with views above the tree lines.

I’m not a fashion person, but the selection and people of the store are amazing. Always dropping by the beauty department to pick up some niche scent, certainly the best beauty department in the U.S. So sad that it’s sold and will be closed.

As a professional sewer by hand and machine, I find the quality of Barneys clothing unsurpassed in quality and detail, the only fault is that I am in Newton Kansas,so I have to plan my trips.

The employees in the cosmetics department are beyond friendly - absolutely amazing. However when I made my way up to the fifth floor to buy some shoes, the SA I dealt with wasnt necessarily my favorite. He wasnt rude per say but wasnt extremely anxious to help either. And when I went to purchase my Balenciaga sneakers he brought me into the back room by the register instead of just taking my card and bringing me the shoes in the bag, which has never happened to me at Barneys. All in all, it was a much less luxurious buying experience than the one I am accustomed to at Barneys in NYC.

This is a department store like no other! Find unique gifts, unusual and hard to find brands as well as well known and on trend brands you love. But if you want a bargain, this isnt the place to shop. Most products are full price except during store wide sales only twice a year. Generally, prices are in the $$$$ category.

Very sad that they are leaving. Barneys have the best sales and thing would drop to 70% off

Located in Wilshire Blvd. the store attracts lots of tourists and studio services people. The selection is always changing which is good for sales however the staff here can feel a bit elitist and condescending dont take it personal.Its also so close to lots of Hotels including the Beverly Hilton and the Beverly Hills Hotel so youll run into some pretty interesting personalities.The cosmetics department is in the basement and it can feel like one is going into a shark tank or into one of those bazaars where cruise ships dock and the locals are desperate to sell you everything and anything if you decline the desperate selling person you may be labeled,broke and not worthy of help so placate the counter people, smile and smile. Remember this is a commission store with really high sales quotas, so be empathetic but dont get suckered by the attitude, the flaterry or the guilt.The selection of shoes is FABULOUS!Barneys Green Grass good for people watchingValet Parking!The website is a much more pleasant way to shop the costumer service here is non existent and most brands offer the same if not better discounts online.

One of the most essential destination for any shoppers heading to Rodeo Drive. The staff is very nice as well as helpful, and they usually have the hottest in new fashion. They probably have the best scelection of designers out of all of the stores in the area, only rivaled by Maxfield LA.

Beautiful store. I don’t like the parking situation and some, only some, of the sales people are stuck up and snooty. A few very friendly smiling faces make up for it.

The best, friendly and helpful customer service without being pushy or overbearing. Beautiful store, impeccably arranged and the layout is pleasing to the eye. All you need in one location and then some!! The beauty basement is my favorite escape...it feels like you are in a spa!!

Just moved to Los Angeles California from San Antonio Texas there is no Barneys. In S.A. TXso I would shop at saks fifth Avenue but now that I live in LA Ill be shoping here at barneys more often the store was nice and the employees are Very nice as well told my husband how nice it was he is excited to go now

First time to Beverly Hills and first time to Barney’s. The service was extremely disappointing. I went to exchange a fragrance that was given to me as a gift.I tried to smell many different kinds of perfume, none of which suited me. The one that I did want was the YSL ‘Mon Paris’ which the lady described as a “little girl smell” Wow, gee thanks. Way to say, “I work commission.”Upon the first attempt at exchange, I wasn’t sure who was helping me. The employees were all over the place and a hot mess. Anthony started to help me, took a phone call, left, then helped another guest. Okay...? I took the receipt and began to look around. One girl helped me, then recommended another for skin care. I happily got what I wanted for my mother and the tried the exchange once again. The skin care girl and I went across the department many times trying to find the ONE person who was helping me out. Did it matter? I just wanted to exchange my gift and get out. I was frustrated. Either way, never again. Way too overwhelming.

Racks and racks of the Emperors New Clothes. There is a strange system of fiat fashion that seems to emanate from this store. Why pay $1k for a jacket without a liner? Because your self-worth is derived from doing such things.

5 floors store and a cosmetic section. high end retail store. Restrooms are in cosmetic floor M&F, 3rd floor F only, and 5th floor M only. They got a little bit of everything and theres valet and regular parking (plenty of it underground)

Love Barney’s in BH.... just the return policy is terrible. Got a shirt in men’s dept... as a gift. Gifter took off the tag... & I couldn’t return... to bad. It was an $800.00 shirt
