I cant give zero stars so here we are with one.DO NOT purchase Miele products. This company does not back its products I own several Miele products including a high end dishwasher. This lemon has broken down more than a dozen times, have spent hundreds on their service repairs and still is inoperable there customer service blows. Stay clear of Miele
Friendly and helpful, but they do not sell the appliances. They can refer you to a local dealer to make your purchase.
Thanks for all of your help! Cant wait to start cooking in the new oven.
Outstanding customer service! Thank you.
Got all information needed for Miele products. They refer you to authorize dealer.
Good shopping experience. Sheeba was our customer service person and she was super nice and helpful. She was also cooking in the store, and it smelled fabulous. We were there to purchase a vacuum cleaner, and she gave us good information, and we ended up with the Alize unit.
Shout out to Bryan for walking us through an informative demonstration of the appliances for our new kitchen. While we were already sold on Miele by reputation, seeing them in a working installment convinced us that we had made the right decision. Well worth the drive from San Diego!
My wife and i had a fantastic product orientation with Michal today. We have purchased several new Miele products that are being installed tomorrow and wanted to get to know how to use them before installation. Michal was so professional. She knows her product very well and is incredibly pleasant. We were treated so well and i would recommend her to everyone. Thank you Michy.
Thank you so much!
I agree with everyone who has posted negative reviews. The staff at the store on Robertson has always been respectful and friendly. My dishwasher a nightmare. In the 7 years I owned the dishwasher I have needed a repair person 5 times. I paid $2,000 for the machine and each repair has cost me $382. Basically paying for the dishwasher all over again. During this pandemic when you need a dishwasher Ive been relegated to hand washing yet again for the past 4 weeks. Shortly begin the stay at home quarantine I stopped by the store to purchase Miele products which I have always used. Fortunately they are unopened because the machine broke before I had a chance to need them. (I have the receipt). As soon as I feel safe to go to the shop I am returning the products and will buy a new dishwasher - not a Miele. Too unreliable! Stylistically great but its operation faulty.
Great people that work there. They assist you in meeting your needs. No pressure and no up selling. Always great.
The product looks great but they break down frequently and the service department is ridicules. Ive been getting the run around for the last 2 months to get my cook top repaired and its still not fixed, because of the service departments attitude and the way they play with you on the phone is ridiculous. One technician calls in sick they push your appointment back for a week. ( one man operation ? )I would never buy Miele again and would never recommend anybody to buy Miele product. There are way too many really high quality appliances out there.DONT BUY MIELE
The sales associates at the experience center are friendly and knowledgable, but theyre selling a product thats a nightmare to own, unless you enjoy rearranging your life to wait for their repair technicians to arrive. In one year, weve had 6 repair visits for 2 appliances -- the combination steam oven (4 breakdowns before they finally replaced it) and now the induction cook top (the tech just packed up his tools and left for the second time without resolving the issue. Hes got to return again next week with the part he THINKS might solve the problem.) I also expected a high-end brand to have high-end customer service, but no luck there. Save your money and your time and buy another brand.
Miele make a great looking product. Their sales staff are helpful and informed. They really go out of their way to be helpful. When under warrantee, their appliances are not without issue, but they deal with it very effectively. Then it all goes wrong. After 5 years the units fail with alarming regularity. Replacement parts take ages to get and cost an absolute fortune. I had a wire basket in my dishwasher go rusty. Clearly a manufacturing issues as the same problem occurs on all units if you read the forums. Replacement cost: $900. For a wire basket. My induction cooktop died. Cost to replace to power board $1,200 for the part and $600 labor, with no guarantee of success. If subsequent boards needed to be replaced (there are 4 in total), $1,000 each. 100% guaranteed fix: $5,200, for a $3,000 unit when new.I looked to champion good products. These are not. They are well designed cosmetically, but underneath they are made from components that are of sub-par quality. After you dig into this, you see that the Miele business model is to hook you in and rip you off for a good 10 years. As much as I like the staff, avoid this product. There are better choices, that are more reliable and far, far less expensive.
My son is obsessed with Miele vacuums, so I decided to take him to the Beverly Hills store to see them in person. The salespeople were so kind and generous. They let him try out the S7 and even spread some rice on the floor for him to vacuum. He was in heaven! He cleaned all the rugs in the store. They gave both of my kids cookies and said come back any time. They were very impressed with his Miele knowledge. So we know where we will be getting our next vacuum cleaner.
To Whom it May Concern,I head a design company in Los Angeles. On behalf of a clients, I have purchased many Miele appliances and have many times visited the Miele Experience Store on Robertson Blvd.Once you purchase a Miele appliance you are contacted by the Miele Concierge experience center. In fact the Miele “Concierge” experience has never been a nice experience.I’m sorry to say, I will never again recommend or purchase Miele appliances for any of my customers, which is a terrible shame. Miele is an exceptional brand and I have been a personal customer for my own home since the early 1980s.I believe that Miele Corporation in Germany should consider replacing the management of the Miele USA Concierge Division. The Miele Concierge Experience was thoroughly disappointing, the representatives were rude, unhelpful, and unfriendly, and I feel a high-end brand like Miele deserves much better representation here in the US.Sincerely,Former Miele Customer
In store experience and information was good, however, extremely difficult to get a revised quote over the phone or email. I guess one has to go into the store to get any type of follow up information or support.I wonder what happens if I go ahead and buy a Miele product, will sales support be a step down to the sales support during the buying phase.
Biggest complaint? Meile calls it a concierge service and charges you for it, plus a delivery service. The guys who show up to do a presite inspection told me to have a plumber on hand at the time of delivery. But they cancelled the delivery without telling me, and I had made time to be there and pay the plumber. On the rescheduled date, they were two hours late. Their reason? The refrigerator had to come from downtown Los Angeles, then out to Ontario, then to Pasadena, a delay which easily could have been foreseen. (If you are from out of town, thats like going from Dallas to Houston by way of Chicago). Upon arrival, the concierge service told me they needed a carpenter, something about mounting the trim. They should have told you that, they said. I told them before I hire a carpenter as well as a plumber, please get the new refrigerator in the kitchen so I can see the problem. Shaking their heads, they brought the thing in. And what do you know? Suddenly, the carpenter was unnecessary! When they deliver your fridge, you must sign a form releasing them from liability for any damage to your house. Its either sign it, or you dont get your fridge. Shouldnt be a problem, I was told. I worked around engineers for decades and when you hear the word shouldnt, look out. They in fact scraped my hardwood floor, only after my supplying moving blankets because they didnt bring enough to protect the pathway into the house. I was able to (mostly) fix the floor. When you hear the word concierge, you think white gloves and booties, someone who speaks English, and is there to solve --- not create --- problems. I spent hours on the phone setting up the delivery. The company made three trips to my home, not including the cancelled one, and it seemed I was constantly getting conflicting information. This was a Pasadena purchase, but there was nowhere to post this experience locally.
Not the best experience with Miele here in Los Angeles, brand new set of appliances 30K, installers removed it from boxes. First Dishwasher water pump was not working and DW leaked from the front, installers blandly told me that they will send someone to fix it. I said not, I need a new one without any issues. Them, freezer was not working properly, front panel trim keep getting loose when we try to open the door, two crews later that said that Miele will order a new bracket because the one installed was defected agree on it. However, a technician showed today, tried to fix it, and is not fix yet! Calling Miele Concierge now blamed on my panel, and try to charge me in order to send another person to do the same job that 5 techs couldn’t. Hood on the picture has a big gap because is not fix to ceiling correctly, I will ask contractor if is true, that ceiling is un-even. In a normal Miele world these type of back and forth issues shall not be tolerated, we pay top dollars for top service and appliances, we are extremely disappointed. In our experience Miele Middle East and Europe installation is outstanding, not here in Los Angeles!
Im a satisfied repeat customer The service is fast
The Mieke Experience Ctr is staffed with wonderfully helpful people. I was there with a friend for a lesson on using the Combi Steam Oven. It was very informative & enjoyable. A big thank you to Miele for making excellent appliances!
Really wonderful people. They helped us choose Miele appliances for our remodeled home. We have also attended special coming events here. Since this is company owned, they have the latest Miele information.
Attention: This location is located at 189 North Robertson Blvd. It at the cross street of Robertson and Clifton one block North of Wilshire.
Had a great technician Raul Limon fix my dishwasher! Very helpful, kind and punctual!
FOR MOVIE/TV GOERS ONLY: this is not a review for Miele. But the Building might be interesting for TV Fans. This Building was the location for Aaron Spelling 1976-81 TV Hit Charlies Angels where Charlie Townsed Investigation was Set.
The women working here are just stuck up, the one woman who helped us put us on hold to go help another customer who was already being helped by someone else, just plain ineffective.
Good place.
