Spoke to Lisa on the phone and went in to have a new Specialized dirt jumper ordered.Cutters is a clean and very organized bicycle shop and the employees are very passionate and knowledgeable especially Lisa.The shop itself is in a great location you cant miss... with lots of food places a walking distance away.Location is easy to get to and parking was not an issue, found three (3) spots right away.Cutters is my new bicycle dealer now... Great local bike shop. They worked really hard over the past year to find a bike for me given the significant backlog in getting new bikes in stock. They were able to find a great Cannondale Hybrid for me and got it all set up. Very helpful for new riders. They have great expertise with mountain bikes but stock a broad range from top end to entry level. Great local shop!

Helped with information about a bike part I didnt even buy there and helped me with information on how to fix it for free straight from the company. Knowledgeable and a great part of the cycling community in the valley.

Go in as a professional or don’t go at all, these people will give you about half of their attention, unless you have money in front of them I assume. Extremely awkward situation when asking basic questions about inventory. Cool selection of bikes but a group of people concerned with their veteran bike riders, certainly not the newbies.

Although they are mainly an Mtb shop, they took time to check out an issue I had with my 20. Great Service and willing to help you with whatever they have to offer. If it takes a while to get your bike back its because people chose to go there for a reason. They made it this far so give them your support and check them out when you need repairs or are looking for a good bike to ride. Definitely recommend them for purchases as well. I compared a few prices to the internet and they arent a shop that adds on cost because they know youd have to pay shipping (ahem, other local owned bike shop), their prices were on point with what I looked up.

If you need a bike, theres no better place to find it than here. The shop owners are friendly and ready to answer any question you might have. 100% recommended!

We purchased a bike for our 6’5” son to commute around Penn State’s huge campus. Before this, he had been riding a bike way too small for his large frame. This place is owned by a fabulous husband and wife who are all about making sure you get just what you’re looking for. They are super knowledgeable and just as friendly. We will always go to this shop for our biking needs and will recommend it to all of our friends.

LBS with excellent service! The hour’s drive from where I live is worth it. These folks went way out of their way to get a friend’s demo bike for me, just so I could ride it (at no charge). They are happy to work out all the details for you, and don’t push you toward a sale. Many other local shops make it feel like they don’t have time for you. My wife and I left this place saying “wow, they are so cool!” Keep up the good work, guys. This is the first time I’ve been excited to work with a bike shop in years, recently opting to do most of my research and buying online just because trying to get customer service from many shops is like pulling teeth.

Well, just bought my second bike from Lisa and John in 7 years. Both bikes.....real winners. A Specialized Roubaix and a Specialized Rockhopper. Lisa is a very engaging co-owner of this bike shop and she builds the bikes when they arrive. I’d have to have my head examined to go somewhere else for a bike.

I have been to enough bike shops in the LV by now to know that between them, some are fantastic on customer service, but expensive; some are low-priced but staffed with people who dont know what they are talking about; and some are priced nice, and are friendly, but if you dont call them to follow up constantly, your parts order or bike repair will sit there forever.Cutters is the exception to this: they have awesome prices, they are SUPER friendly and helpful, not snobby, and do fantastic work. Plus they carry awesome bike brands (its nice being able to choose between like 4+ brands in one shop, as opposed to just going to a shop that sells only Trek, for example). Also, they cater equally well to road riders, and MTBers, unlike many shops who skew towards one or the other (they are great for townie/commuter bikes too!).Between their awesome prices, their in-stock inventory, and their quick turnaround with special orders, I have had zero need to shop online for bike parts either due to cost or availability- if you know even a little about the state of the bicycle industry, you know how important it is to support your local bike shop versus buying online. And this LBS is absolutely, 100% deserving of that.

Went there on a Saturday without appt. and hoping they will make some adjustment in my brakes and derailers . The owner told me bring it in and we will try to get you out even though we are busy and sure enough he worked on my bike between sales etc.. but he fixed my bike and very friendly people and will with no dought do business again there.
