We purchase an LG 55” tv on June 2, 2021 from Walmart. Mounted it on the wall and got to enjoy it for exactly 88 days before the picture started showing a color defect (blues fade to greens, reds fade to blah grays). Seems the color isn’t as vivid on an entire portion of the TV.Called LG to initiate the warranty. It’s been almost a month, four attempts to get a repair done. One rep said she was going to escalate the issue. Many days go by, I called back and the issue was not escalated, so she wasn’t honest or wasn’t competent. LG has opened up 4 different repair tickets only for NOTHING to happen until I call back a week or so later. I’m not 5 calls deep, and even tried to initiate repair through their website which took my submission, but then emailed me 4 days later to ask that I resubmit it. I have saved all the ticket numbers and correspondence because I can see this is going to be a battle to get them to honor the warranty and fix/replace this lemon of a TV we just bought 3 stinkin months ago.Since that time the blob of dull color has spread more on the TV, and my scowl has deepened. What good is a warranty if the company won’t stand by it. We won’t ever buy LG again and honestly if you get a working TV great but if not, do you want to go through the hassle of trying to get them to honor their warranty on a defective tv? It’s not been fun.I SHOULD HAVE BOUGHT A SAMSUNG!!
Terrible customer service I have not had a working washer in 3 months and they keep sending different repair people. I have had 6 repair visits they told me they would replace machine and now wont call me back. This is not from a store its from LG themselves. The process they have set up is to frustrate you so you give up. horrible
