Fast, friendly and effective. Bill at the Bethesda location handled a laptop issue for me on the spot while I waited. It took him five minutes and he didn’t even charge me for the work. This was after spending 30 minutes at Geek Squad answering dozens of irrelevant questions and ultimately being turned away. Highly recommend this business and will return for any and all repair needs I may have.

My Lenovo laptop’s keyboard was not responding properly. Some letters were working and others not. Therefore, yesterday I went to this store. They told me that the keyboard was actually damaged, and it needs a replacement.The actual cost was $399 to replace the keyboard, that was their “free diagnostic”. Of course, I declined since I paid $399 for the actual laptop.Then, I went home and checked a few YouTube videos. My computer only needed a rebooting and reinstalling the keyboard driver. To be honest, I do not how to feel about this situation, they only seem to care about the money and at least they do free diagnostics, but I would prefer more honest “free diagnostics” the next time.Anyways, I am telling this, so it won’t happen to you.

The staff at the store did not have a clear understanding of their relationship to my cell carrier Verizon and therefore could not perform their job as I was told they would by the Verizon reps. This is as much a problem of Verizon as it is UbreakIFix.It turns out that I needed to go back a second time because of another phone issue that I had and was scheduled for an appointment at 10:00 a.m. on a Saturday. However I arrived at the store to find out that it doesnt open till 12:00! Again this is as much a problem of both parties but does not reflect well on UbreakIFix.

I scheduled an appointment to get my phone screen repaired.It was rescheduled without my approval, even though I selected an available time.When talking to the Samsung employee, the rationale was that they had called my wife and gotten her approval, but I DO NOT HAVE A WIFE

This is the third time I used the services of the Bethesda, MD (Wisconsin AV) store and this is the third time that I could not be more pleased. For today, it involved an iPhone 7 repair. I telephoned first to see if they thought they might be able to help me. Yet quickly indicated what the trouble might be, said they would be happy to take a look at it and give me a cost estimate if they found they could fix it. I took it in right away as I was without a working phone. They fixed it within 15 minutes. They dis not charge me anything.I did buy a number of items on display for sale...at a fair price. A piece of a charging cable broke off inside the charging area of my IPhone 12 Pro. I have a wireless charger but could not use a cable. Went into the Bethesda store, he plucked out the broken off piece for no charge! Very impressed!!

They work with you, and give you free consultation of your broken device, and if it’s a simple issue they let it go free of charge ! Super fast super easy and extremely easy to work with !

My elderly mother was the victim of a scam to gain access to her computer and try to extort her. Took her computer in and they went over it and cleaned up any potential malware and then told her she owed nothing for the service. Thats great customer service in my book.

Took my new Galaxy S8 in because the Fingerprint Sensor didnt work. First they asked me to pay $100 although my phone was still under warranty. When I said its under warranty then they did nothing but resetting my phone. I went on a trip abroad and called them this phone still has the same issue. They said no worries. You can bring it back within 3 months and we will fix it.Again I came back with the same Issue a team member named Jonathan who was VERY RUDE again asked me to pay $100 for a phone which was still under warranty!!Finally I had to call Samsung Customer Service and they sent me a brand new replacement!Do yourself a favor and never go to this store to get your cellphone fixed!

Phone was not charging. They ran a diagnostic that did not show any issues. They knew to tap down one part which fixed the problem. They did not charge me. Great service.

This store gave great service and the diagnostic was free. They ran multiple tests on my phone to pinpoint the cause of its issues. Even though they were unable to fix the phone in store (the issue required a part that was unavailable), they wrote me an email detailing their findings so I could submit a claim to my credit card insurance provider. I definitely recommend, since they were friendly, knowledgeable, and communicative.

Easy to schedule an appointment (I did it online after using the chat panel on their website). They are following COVID precautions, are friendly, the repair was cost effective and quick (less than 2 hours to a new glass case on the back of my phone).

Dropped my Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge, no visible damage, but the screen started flickering. Took it to uBreakiFix in Rockville, MD, where was told that the phone is not repairable. Broght it to uBreakiFix in Bethesda, MD. They fixed my phone by the next day, without factory reset and data loss. Great and very professional service!

Water damage. Went and replaced the screen. The next day bright green line appeared on right side of the screen. Went and they replaced the screen again. The next day, top part of the phone is not touchable. All the apps on the top line are not able to opened. Went again and they said they cannot fix it anymore as it is water damage. I asked to open up and see if they can adjust the circuit. One hour after, they said it didnt work, and I just have to get new phone. And they cannot refund my money either because it is water damage. I went home, try to find answer online. A lot of people said if it is third-party screen replacement other than Apple, this is very common problem. Well! Why didnt they tell me?!? My bad, I wasted $230 here without reviewing the answers online first. Thank you for nothing.

Phone was not charging. Brought it in, they cleaned port carefully, good as new and they declined to charge for the service. They also responded helpfully to some questions on transfer of data. Fast and professional service.

I was having trouble charging my Galaxy 2, so I walked in to the store to have my charging port replaced (at $80). Instead, one of the employees suggested that it might an issue with a clogged charging port, so he cleaned out for me right there at no charge! It works perfectly.

DO NOT USE THIS STORE - Dropped my phone off to have the screen replaced because it had cracked and gone partially black. All morning before I took it in, I was able to see parts of the screen and sign in using my passcode. When I got my phone back, they had completely disabled it requiring me to download itunes and completely resync it (loosing tons of stuff since my last back up). I will not be returning and would not recommend.

My cell phone fell into the water and did not turn on, although the brand of my cell phone is not recognized in this country, they gave me the option to make a diagnosis, in this diagnosis they dried it and now my cell phone works well, all for free Because it was part of the diagnosis. 😁

I went to get a diagnostic on my Pixel 3as charging port and although they didnt have all the necessary parts to replace it, the technician was very helpful and recommended I go to the Cleveland Park location, where they were even more helpful.

EXTREMELY UNPROFESSIONAL! Called first re battery replacement. Had my own new battery. Gave all phone info to JASON. He confirmed they could do the job for $39. Drove from the other side of town for an hour to be told by BILL that at it would cost $79 ! Double what was quoted. When I protested his explanation was that it was a difficult job and that Jason was new so had no idea what he was talking about. (Why put Jason on the phone to answer questions???) Later BILL said plainly that they would not accept my order any way. I fear that it could have been xenophobic as I speak with a foreign accent.STAY AWAY ! UNPROFESSIONAL + XENOPHOBIC !PS. Owners response ridiculous. All phone details were given over the phone. Price confirmed twice. Thats why people call before going! Wasted almost 2 hours of my time. You want to compensate for that ?

2nd visit to the Bethesda store and Im very satisfied with the stores neatness, staffs knowledge and courteous and quick turn around.My wife and I both have Googles Pixel 1 phones which we bought brand new a little over two years ago. My wifes phone started acting up by not being able to hear callers and there was no audio on the video. Google technical team thought it was the sound card, which Google said it was past the warranty and and not covered. They suggested taking it to U Break I Fix.U Break I Fix diagnosed that the motherboard had gone bad and was able to get Google to pay for replacement. Long story short, my phone started doing the same thing two months later and I took it to U Break I Fix and in less than 48 hours I had working phone with a brand new motherboard at no cost to me thanks to the professional staff at U Break I Fix.

The staff there are extremely nice and very knowledgeable. It was great because you can either walk in or save yourself time and make an appointment. We chose to make an appointment. I found there work pretty pricey, but I have to say when I got my phone back it looked and worked like new. Bring change to feed the meters as they dont have their own lot to park in.

Bring your devices in at your own risk.Full ExperienceI brought my pixel in for a battery swap as it is holding about half the charge it originally was. After a quick 5-10 minute check of my phone and conversation, where my phone checked out ok, the rep told me to come back in 2 hours.2 Hours later I returned to pick up my phone. The representative informed me that they believe the problem isnt my battery but one of the circuit boards. They put my old battery back in and sealed it up. No charge to me so while I was disappointed I thought I was back where I started.This was not the case however as the rep added me that while they think my phone is charging it doesnt indicate it is. He was unable to tell me if my phone could be charged or if I had its existing battery life before it was permanently dead. This is a new issue that did not exist before they opened up my phone.After taking it home and trying out a few things I discovered my phone only charges if it is restarted while plugged in and will not communicate with other devices through USB. This is really an issue as that is how it connects to my car for music and GPS.I effectively went from a fully functional phone with short battery life to a partially functional phone with short battery life.I would only recommend their services if your device is non-functioning and you have nothing to lose. 1 Star for not charging me and the rep was nice as he was telling me they broke my phone.

Fantastic job. . .my kid smashed his tablet. The screen looked like a Hillary Clinton hammer job & the tablet itself was actually bent pretty badly - I thought no hope. My 9-year old wanted his pictures & videos,. Randal gave us a FREE evaluation & explained they thought the data was in there, but could not know for sure, but thought it was worth a shot. A screen could not be located, but he said if we bought the identical tablet (which I got on sale) they could transfer the mother board over into it. They did the job & all the data was in there & password worked & even the same wall paper popped up. They are straight shooters & cool guys to work with. No tricks & my kid was very happy his videos & pictures were all safe. its like the same tablet. Also, they were careful to return all the unused & busted parts, which my kid wanted to experiment with. Also, very reasonable prices.

It would have roughly taken my phone 2 hours to complete, but Candace was able to have it done earlier. No issues with this place but I recommend that you call and make sure they have your part 1st.

I was so impressed when I went to the Bethesda location of uBreakiFix. The store owner quickly diagnosed the problem with my sons cell phone (pocket lint jammed in the charger port) and remedied the problem free of charge. I had suspected that was the problem and even attempted to clean it myself at home with a toothpick and forced air, but I obviously did not know how much pressure I would have need to exert. I was so greatly for the speedy, knowledgeable, and friendly service. I highly recommend them!

The entire team: Randell, Oscar, Terence, Bill, and Andy are AMAZING, PROFESSIONAL, and KNOWLEDGABLE. I had to get my iPhone fixed in a two-day window and they were able to get it done very quickly. I mostly appreciate the honesty of the team, as they let a customer know if they are unable to provide services due to a lack of tools, or merely the product being a lost cause. Their prices are fair and their work is neat, clean, and done in a timely manner. 10/10 recommend.

I had a great experience at Ubreakifix Bethesda. I took my old computers to be wiped and disposed of, and Randell suggested enclosing one of the hard drives and using it as an external hard drive for my next computer, which I decided to do. Randell and Oscar are both fantastic - very knowledgeable, helpful, and friendly. I highly recommend!

They replaced my phones battery as asked which is good. But:* the website makes it seem like appointments are necessary - they are not.* I wasnt allowed to use their restroom while I waited, I was told I could go to the greasy spoon next door.* I asked them to clean the screen when they gave back my phone because they smudged up the screen quite a bit. They handed me a rag to clean it myself.

Terrible costumer service. I had appointment at 3pm when I got there this man told me he can’t fix my phone because they close at 5pm. I drove almost a hour for nothing 😡😡😡 . Terrible costumer service. Never go to this place again . So disappointed

Honest people. I was going to pay to get both my front and rear cameras replaced, but they noticed that the rear camera just needed to be reconnected and didnt charge me for a replacement. I never would have known if they had just replaced it and charged me (or reconnected it, kept the part themselves and still charged me). They are honest and provided excellent customer service. I took my iPhone 7 to this shop and Randall, the store owner, was incredibly helpful in diagnosing my charging port problem. He was able to make my phone charge after five minutes of work when it hadnt been charging properly for months!The shop is also incredibly clean and professional. Most cellphone and computer repair shops are small and dingy, but this feels like a quality establishment.

I call them to fix my s7 edge charging port fix they says $289. and i fix my phone in ellswort place (wireless & repair store) they only charge &85.and the technician guy finish my job with in 45 min.

If I could give this place 0 stars I would... Dont waste your time and find somewhere else with better customer service! Filed an insurance claim and this was the closest shop to repair my phone screen. Drove over an hour away, reached location around 6pm, shop closes at 7 (plenty of time to repair a cracked iphone screen) and was told that Asurion insurance customers are always 2 hours. I explained my situation of being out of area, I had called the shop the week before when my claim was filed and received paperwork via email for reference. No where and at no time was I told this would be a two hour wait! My husband used to work for a cell phone provider and this is literally less than a 20min task. Did I mention there were no other customers in the store? I worked in the service industry for years! The customer service and laziness of the employee was appalling. There was plenty of time (1 hours prior to closing) to complete my phone repair, but because I was an insurance customer and not a higher paying walk-in, I was treated unfairly. The employees could have completed and simply were not willing to. I have since cancelled my pending insurance claim for another location and this shop will not be receiving a penny of anything associated with my devices.

I came to the Bethesda location after a terrible experience in a different Ubreakifix ( they misdiagnosed problem with my phone, lost my phone case, etc.).I was visibly upset by the time I arrived and the staff was polite, professional, and understanding. The manager came out when he heard about the difficulties I experienced with the other location and assured me they would be able to assist.The day after I dropped off my phone, I received a phone call and update with a timeline for the repair. Within 3 days, my phone was fixed and back in my hands, clean and like-new.Several months later, I had another phone problem and returned to this location for a repair and had a repeat experience of professional, polite, and prompt service.I highly recommend this location.

The staff here is very friendly and are truly interested in trying to help those that come in. They also give free diagnostics and damage estimates. While my laptop could not be repaired this time, I would definitely come back here again.

$399 for MacBook Air 13 2014 screen replacement. Its the only one in town with that price. Most are $420 and up. Love what these guys do!

My sons old McBook was in serious need of refurbishing. Memory was low, the network port was loose, and the keyboard had non responsive keys. I was in no mood, however to shell out thousands for a replacement. I had been avoiding our local Apple Store due to the crowds and service time. I found uBreakiFix after a quick online search and made a Saturday evening appointment. After noticing that they also accepted walk-ins, I just jumped in the car for the ten minute drive. My phone rang as I was parking. It was the owner confirming my evening appointment. I told him that I decided to Walk-In instead. No problem. Was the response. A few days later Im rewarded with an almost new MacBook and fending off the family. I couldnt have imagined a more friendly and capable team at uBreakiFix. They really cared about my issues and didnt over sell. In fact, they correctly assured me that my network port was a cable issue. Its a great place that Ive already recommended to some friends.

Lackadaisical customer service. Drove 45m to this place only to hear they dont have the part for my Samsung Galaxy S8+.Not having part is very annoying considering I scheduled appointment specifying repair intent. The man at the front said I should have called! I saw the same guy 2 weeks ago to collect a quote for proposed repairs. At that time, he didnt mention the website scheduler is useless, or I should call ahead of time.Will carry on with my cracked screen NP

High quality, quick service - but maybe too quick sometimes.I was mostly happy with my experience here despite having to return twice to get my Pixel 2 XL screen perfect. I think the products are high-quality, the customer service superb, and the solutions offered are speedy. My one recommendation for them would be too make sure speed doesnt interfere with quality of services rendered. I had to return twice - once because film was left over the front camera on the inside of the screen and again because of small scratch left after having to relift the screen to remove the film. Both of these mistakes I feel should have been caught in a thorough final review of the product. That being said, Randall made sure they did get it right - without any cost to me.

My kids have crushed their iPhone screens and have been living with them so long in that compromised state that their eyesight has likely deteriorated. So I found UBreakiFix it and they replaced their 6s screens to an original state. Kids are appreciative, wife happy! Its a win win win. Thanks Randal.
