My favorite Biggby location. Staff always supper friendly. Always clean. highly recommend.

The cashier did not take my whole order then instead of placing all of my drinks into the carrying container she just handed it to me. I was not pleased with the customer service at all. The tip that I decided to give them was kept due tp the fact I felt as if I was racially profiled.😣

This place has good coffee, but I came in today and my mask was broken, so the lady said find a way to put it on,lol! Although people are sitting down drinking coffee without a mask, i suppose the area around them and 6 ft around them is safe. I don’t like leaving bad reviews but this is ignorance on another level.I will never be back no matter what garbage mandates there is.

I really love the atmosphere in the Berkeley Bigby. The coffee is my favorite.

My friend and I stopped at this Biggby for a coffee and muffin. The barrista who served us was very kind and helpful. When I wanted to know what was in the flavoring for sweetener she let me read the label. Our coffee and snacks were delicious!

This location in particular is my favorite, friendly people, they know exactly how to make your drink the way you like it

Its a regional chain BUT the staff runs this store like a local place. Same faces behind the counter, they laugh and joke with you, and they remember your order when you come in. It also has a local artist who has done portraits of customers which are featured on the wall. Its a lot more welcoming than your average Biggby and way better than any other chain place.

Cannot recommend the bagels.

Was crowded, possibly due to power outage . Had our orders finished in minutes.

I actually used to work here so I MAY be slightly biased, but this is the best Biggby Ive ever been to as a customer. Ive been to several throughout Oakland, Macomb, and Genesee counties and the Berkley location still gives the best service.

Cozy and hip. I found this place to be perfect for work. Even when it’s busy I never found it to be too loud. The staff is very friendly and helpful, and the menu has a wide array of different coffee types for you to enjoy :)

A bright, conveniently located coffeehouse for working, reading, meeting up with friends, making new ones, or grabbing your cup to go. Its deceptively large for the space its in, so it may seem like the tables are all taken up, but youll likely find space to sit and enjoy your coffee. The coffee itself is great, with always enough flavors to find something youll enjoy. Everyone that works there has also been friendly, professional, and fun.

Nice beverages and small snacks. Stay a while and finish your 300 page paper (rip), or try and order something from the menu, Its not that hard! This is a great place and you should definitely visit. Guaranteed!!😃

This place is so good. The brewristas are so kind. The assortment of treats and desserts are fantastic. Definitely find yourself over there for a drink when you can.

This place has the most wonderful staff I have ever experienced! No matter who is behind the counter, they are the nicest people! They are friendly and kind and genuinely sincere people.Their drinks are good, but many of the custom drinks are too sweet (and I have a major sweet-tooth, but even for me they are often too much).Inside is clean, cute, and cozy. I had recently tried working there, and found their music to be too distractible and loud. Fine for visiting with friends, but not conducive to working/studying.

New location, very courteous and polite.I had not been to a Biggby location since they changed their name. I had not enjoyed their product those years ago. This visit won me back.The owner and staff of this new franchise location were as friendly and welcoming as can be. When I asked for a more obscure drink that was from the website menu, they were glad to look it up and prepare it.As a new location, they also gave me a Buy-One-Get-One-Free coupon.Will return!

I love the staff and the atmosphere here, and the regulars seem pretty down to earth. The place has an overall chill vibe with good music, and they brew Michigan Cherry daily, which is a plus. Definitely recommended :)

Bigby coffee is my favorite local cozy coffee shop. I like the atmosphere and quietness. Its a hidden jewel. Most places are extremely too loud to focus, talk, or hear. Whenever the library close, I find this hidden jewel. Their coffee is second to starbucks!

Love to buy local so I will drive past three Starbucks to get to a Bigby. Outdoor seating and I enjoy my Bigby Card points. In the fall and winter they have a yummy Hot Carmel Apple Cider and you can also have it iced as well.

I rarely visit coffeeshops anymore, but the service here was excellent! The bagel sandwich (their recommendation) was way better than anywhere else (actually really tasty!), and the coffee was perfect. They took their time to ensure everything was perfect for me, and it was still really speedy. Overall, I was very impressed, and I would visit again.Im not sure if it was just me, but my wifi connection on their network was a little spotty. I kept getting booted, so Im not sure if their DHCP settings are just really short (like, 30 min), or if maybe the router is dying, but someone may want to look into that. Other than being a tad annoying, it didnt impact my visit or the work I was doing.

The coffee is self serve like at a gas station, unless you get lattes or something like that which is more expensive than Starbucks.

I’ve been going to Biggby since it was the original location (Beaners) in East Lansing and have gone out of my way to support the franchise for 18 years. Until 11/26/2018 I would have rated the Berkley Biggby a full 5 stars. I was in this exact location when the power went out during a wind storm, and I went out of my way to try and help the staff. I frequently walk my son and / or dog by this location so I can buy coffee.Having brought a bag of unopened Biggby beans to the location which I forgot to grind, I apologetically asked the woman on staff if she would mind grinding them for me. With a solid eye roll, she quickly refused. Not understanding why, I politely told her that I had beans ground here before...under identical circumstances. Despite the fact that this is a bare minimum worth of effort (pour in beans/press button), it was clearly far too much for this barista to handle. Had she put together a coherent explanation, a few of which may make sense, I would have simply let it go. But in the wake of an eye roll, with another employee watching and clearly not understanding, I’ll never be walking my son and dog here again.It is my sincere hope that the franchise owner of this location reads this and understands that whomever the female was on staff at 7:15pm on 11/26 just cost this location the business of a lifetime Biggby supporter. If there is any question that’s a true statement, I’ll be happy to present my “Beaners” polo gifted to me by another franchise.I’ll be happy to walk or drive a block out of my when I need coffee in the future. What a complete joke.

Place looks clean which is a plus. The service I had was terrible with crabby ppl working there. I asked for a vanilla frappacino type drink. I got more just a plain iced coffee and tasted nothing like Starbucks fraps. Was hoping for better in this place, but ill have to go back to starbucks.
