The worst pharmacy in Berkeley, I transferred to Telegraph ( Much; more professional, better customer service, better Pharmacist, little to no Lines) CVS at Shattuck represents CVS chain very poorly, the Pharmacists are non-caring, to busy doing nothing, the work area looks like they are in the middle of a move. It’s distressing to have to go to this CVS store ( store included, ran Poorly). They need Help, training, etc. corporate needs to come in and update staff, store, store manager and Pharmacists

Cant speak to the pharmacy part of the store, but the rest of it is fairly disappointing. No one seems to know where things are, and now theyre doing renovations so several aisles are closed right in the middle of the day.

The pharmacy staff was particularly helpful in sorting out which medication needed to be processed when and told me everything will be ready in 10 minutes, and then exceeded that expectation calling me back to the pharmacy to pick up my medicine,

The employees who work at this location are fraudulent and professional scammers! Do not be tricked into giving them your social security number to sign up for the rewards program like I was .. one of the employees at this location completely ruined my credit by using my social security number!!! Avoid at all costs

I was followed around by security. How dehumanizating as a 61 year old black female. I was only of a few customers so it was very obvious. I woke up now in the wee hours over that incident that happened 3 days ago (the 26th of April 2021).

Wish I could leave zero stars - I guess the only redeeming quality was that a few of the employees were very nice.I ordered about 75 photos to be printed in various sizes online, to be picked up in a few hours. When I got there, after a long line, I received my photos from the friendly rep and went to my car where I checked them out. Several of the photos were cropped in unexpected ways despite my specifically cropping them on the website, some were altogether missing, and I received five photos from another family. I went back, waited 20 minutes before I could be seen and have my photos reprinted. Long story short (too late), it took three attempts at printing out my photos, three employees, an incredibly rude manager, and an hour before I gave up and left. The manager was unbelievable - he seemed to not understand what I was saying and kept harshly repeating that they couldnt re-crop photos in store - which I wasnt asking for. I just wanted my missing photos. He forced me to wait while he printed out the photos for a third time and counted them but by then I was done. He smugly told me all the photos were there but when I checked there were once again five photos from strangers and 5 of my photos missing. I wont go into the full details because this is already too long but he was condescending and obviously wanted to go back into his nook and be left alone. Oh, and it took about 30 minutes of paging him for him to actually show up. I DO NOT recommend using this store, especially for photos and most especially if the photos have any real importance to you.

Necessary medicine but takes endless time to obtain—2 days so far and it takes at least 30 to 40 minutes on hold to talk to a pharmacist I made the mistake of signing up for their insurance. NEVER again. WORST service imaginable. I hope someone sues them.

TERRIBLE. I asked to have my prescriptions mailed to me. They were not mailed. I tried calling in to remedy this, waited 20min the first time and then was hung up on. Called back in and the automated voice took FOREVER, would not transfer me to an operator, and then hung up on me. This pharmacy is TERRIBLE.

Avoid if you can! The personnel at the pharmacy is obviously overwhelmed. Beware of extremely long waits, constant miscommunications regarding prescriptions, and poor management of social distancing rules.

Calling is very painful. Ive stood in line and witnessed people being put on hold for tens of minutes while the staff are talking to each other about the weekend. This CVS is the worst when it comes to costumer service. I called from San Diego last month and timed my wait which turned out to be 33 minutes. Conversely to the above when I go in to the store the staff is very nice so maybe I should give them and 2 star review. Come on people step it up on the phone....

Horrible. The evening staff includes a pathological liar who denied my return (in violation of published CVS policies) and on a separate visit, claimed they were out of propane until tomorrow despite a full cage of fresh tanks (it was late and he just didnt want to get one for me). Go anywhere else.

They always seemed to mess up a simple monthly prescription with the same doctor and thats supposed to be auto-refilled. Lines are often long. Lots of stuff are locked up and so you have to wait a while for someone to unlock and then go wait in a long line to check out.

I came here to buy a gift card. There were 4 people in front of me yet I waited at LEAST 10 minutes. The staff is EXTREMELY slow, almost like theyre stuck in Jell-O. They even talk slow. Other times the lines are incredibly long. Avoid.

I really give this CVS a big, fat 0 star rating ! Ive only been to this location and i dont plan on EVER going back after how I was brutally verbally assulted, insulted and my life threatened for NO reason by their unprofessional, extremely mentally unstable, deranged so called manager.I was shopping in this store for a good 20 minutes, I was never greated or asked if I needed any help by any of the CVS staff . I was just about done getting things I needed for my home and fun girly cosmetics for a bunch of gift bags I have to put together for my best friends baby shower, when this poor excuse of a human being ( the manager) comes walking pass me to look into my shopping cart and tells me Dont put items in your bags maam and I just politely said okay sir - I had a couple shopping totes I always use when Im buying multiple and large amonts of grocerys or personal items in my cart that I was using to keep my purchases separated so that way I would be organized for checking out -I was still shopping and it wasnt like I was planning on leaving the store without paying for the items in my shopping totes and theres no policy or law that i cant I use my shopping tote to organize my merchandise to my bennifit - So this cvs manager had no place telling my

Every time I call the pharmacy, they put me on hold for ten minutes and then pick the phone back up and tell me to hold again for another 10 minutes. Why pick the phone back up if you still cant help me? My guess is so that the stats wont show actually how long they make their customers hold. Getting a simple prescription in person the wait is ridiculous. Every time they ask you to go over to the consult win dow and wait forever while they tell the next person in line the same. Very frustrating. If you are that busy, why dont you just hire more people. You are a multi billion dollar corporation, why be so greedy. Absolutely aweful.

Store is being rebranded which means that everything that was in one location is now in another and a customer has to change his habits.....plus the restocking in not yet completed, empty shelves, etc......not the place to shop now, Walgreens is close and not chaotic

Be prepared to wait a VERY long time if you need to get a Pharmacy staff member on the phone. Average time on hold is 30 minutes - 1 hour.
