Classic Autobody did a fantastic job on my car. It looks brand new! They were very thorough in their work, professional and courteous. I highly recommend.

Chris and his team are the best. They repaired my vintage Porsche and went out their way to ensure my car was in better condition than it was prior to getting bumped. Theres a reason why Classic Autobody is spoken about positively within the vintage Porsche community.

Having used Classic Auto Body twice now, I am moved to write a review of this trustworthy, excellent shop.The first time, Sam discovered a problem with my hood that the other two companies from which I had sought estimates did not find. Because of Sam’s expertise, I chose Classic Auto Body to do the work.The second time, the insurance company sent a bumper that did not have the lighting feature across the lower section, a feature that was on my own bumper. Furthermore, the bumper the insurance company sent did not fit my car. Classic Auto Body required the company to send the proper bumper.In my experience, we can trust Classic Auto Body to do the job correctly, from assessment through performance. Steve, Sam and Cynthia inspire trust and are very pleasant to work with.

Hands down the best auto body repair shop Ive been to. Ive had paint work done several times on my car, but no one has been able to match the paint quite accurately. Classic Autobody got it done. Plus, they took care of a few tiny touchups free of charge. Highly recommend!

This was my second visit to Classic Autobody. The first time was several years ago, when I had heard about them only after I had problems elsewhere. They stepped right in and did not make any off-hand comments about the other shop or at my having gone somewhere else. They were efficient, informative and meticulous. This second time I went straight to them, and they remembered me and my other car, and again did an absolutely beautiful job. My car is a very nice car, and they did a spectacular job again, and based upon the other people I saw coming into the shop, it is clear that they treat everyone with the same respect. The family-owned, family-run quality runs true here.

Read all the reviews. This is the only place I will take any vehicle for body work. I have body shops all around me in SF yet I will always trek to Berkeley for Classics great work and service. 3 trips so far with our nice car and I just brought our city runner over today, knowing I really am in good hands.

We bought a new Toyota Corolla in 2014. While it still had that new car smell a neighbor sideswiped us while backing our of our cul-de-sac. His insurer sent us to Classic Autobody, who did a beautiful repair job. Four years later it still looks great.Then a few months ago we tapped the front bumper on a big rock while parking at a state park. Toyota bumpers are held on by plastic (!) clips. Our bumper was only partially attached. We took it to Classic Autobody and they did a beautiful repair.Christmas Eve day, someone scraped our car in a Safeway parking lot. Back to Classic. Another perfect repair. And they fought for us with the insurance company, which wanted to cheap out on the paint job and do whats called an open blend instead of painting to the end of the body panel. Classic said they wouldnt warrant that cheap repair and it would probably start peeling in a few years. (I do not recommend The Hartford insurance company. They were contesting two other estimates at Classic while my car was there.)Anyway, I cant recommend Classic Autobody too highly. And they cleaned the interior of my car before returning it!

I went back three times trying to get them to complete the job the way it should have been done before I picked it up the first time. Theyre great if you have a lot of free time to waste and they arent even the cheapest...

Pssh. More like Classy Autobody. Seriously, drive past of few of the body shops in town and you get uncomfortable with the thought of leaving your vehicle there. But pull up to Classic, and the first thing you notice is how clean, shiny, and organized everything is. Gives you confidence and comfort. Parking is tricky, so just dont make my mistake of rolling in without an appointment haha. Everyone was very understanding, attentive, and helpful.Thanks for the great work you did on my vehicle!

I recently had body work done at Classic for the third time ( on a third car ). Consistent with the prior work, this time the repair work was first class. The car came back looking out-of-the-showroom good.
