Excellent coffee and awesome ambiance right off the main square in Bentonville. The cups are smaller than most coffee shops and that is OK. Lots of seating space inside and outside. They also have treats to sell including French macarons and even a vegan muffin (out of stock when I visited).

We had a great experience at Onyx! I am vegan and was able to order tacos with vegan crumbles and vegetables for breakfast. The coffee and lattes were excellent and the staff was very helpful.

Waiting through the line was so worth it! The coffee was fabulous, and the staff was very friendly. Even though the line was long when I went in, it moved quickly and I was out in ~20 minutes.

The coffee was 7/10 for quality and taste. I requested a particular sweetener for my cafe latte but the brand was not kept in house. I have been here before and the staff and baristas seemed to pay much more carefully detail to making your beverage the best last time while this time it was just another drink to make. I also saw (sadly) 3 cups drop to the floor (drink lip lands on the floor), staff picked them up, brushed them off and USED THEM!!🤦‍♀️🤦‍♀️The experience at Crystal Bridges was better so I will review again in the future.

I usually get a mocha though the FOMO caught my eye. Its really tasty! Dark and bold, turns to creamy and sweet! We love Onyx Coffee Lab.

The Onxy is probably the fanciest coffee shop I have been to. They had a TON of different options for beverages, pastries, macaroons, and small breakfast plates. There is ample amount of space inside, so it’s great to meet a group of friends or have a business meeting. There were also a lot of tables outside (covered and uncovered). It’s also right on the square, so you are close to a lot of shops and walking paths. Highly recommended!

Delish! Well organized, and clean spot! The food was delicious! We had the avocado sourdough, the club baguette, and the Onyx coffee.

Onyx is my favorite. The coffee is so good here. This location looks soo cool, hip and upscale. Easily I can spend my day working with a cup of coffee. However, somehow I love the Fayetteville location much. My iced mocha at this location was not that good, as compared to the Fayetteville location. The chocolate muffin was also very dry. But the interior is much nice here.

Onyx Coffee Lab is amazing. The workers are all sweet and they take time to make sure you get something that you’ll really like. They have everything from a high quality espresso to a sweet oat ice cream shake. It’s such a cool place to be and it has a great atmosphere. I get an iced honey oat milk latte, which is always perfect. Will be returning often!

Great place to unwind during bike rides! Loved the coffee and the ambiance. Plenty of space to park your bikes too.

Iconic coffeehouse in NWA. This one had plexiglass in front of the front ordering bar for COVID that lessened the ambience, but they cant help that... we enjoyed a Colombian geisha and macron. Lovely design.

Wow! The yuzu white mocha was unreal! (Normally Im a coffee/americano drinker). My bf got the Chai with a shot (so good as well). Avo toast and breakfast sandwich were both so tasty and delicious.. to top it off we got a macaroon and it was amazing! So soft and the filling was to die for! Would come back and would definitely recommend. Also the line was long but it went VERY quick.

Wonderful place for work meetings. The outdoor patio is amazing this time of year. The iced caramel latte is the way to go.

We travelled from Tulsa to Arkansas simple to sit on the patio and drink this coffee. Even with the extensive COVID19 precautions, the staff was very personable and friendly. I came specifically to try the salt mocha, and when I mentioned what excited me about it to the barista, he went out of his way to make it special based on the things I liked. The patio was perfect to sit in and bask in the sun with my dog. Love love love it.

If you haven’t been, just go already. It’s Onyx, it’s ridiculous how great their coffee is.

Somethings change and so has Onyx Coffee. I waited over 10 min for a coffee and no one seemed even a slight concerned that I was missing my order. This used to be a place that was lively and served them out fast. A place where service was friendly and personable. I will go to another coffee shop next time.

Coffee was smooth and delicious. Also the Blueberry Cheesecake and Lavender Honey Macaroons were amazing. Such a fun and unique coffeehouse.

Amber is very rude. Don’t try using a gift card you bought before COVID. They changed POS machines, and the new equipment won’t accept the gift card stripe. Too bad, so sad. It’s the customer’s problem…keep the line moving.

Just like the other onyx locations the Bentonville team continues to prove why onyx is the gold standard in coffee and customer service.

The coffee here was great and worth the price. The atmosphere was nice, welcoming, and hip. The food was way overpriced for the portion sizes and there just werent very many options. Everything is very hipster. Theres a lot of avocado in many of the dishes. They were also out of a few things and the register staff wasnt made aware of that until my order went through which is frustrating. It couldve been better, but it couldve been worse.

Delicious coffee with a super modern interior. Onyx was a great find for us as we’re from Kansas City! It made us feel at home and reminded us of some local spots we frequent in our city. They also serve sweets and delicious toast. We got the ricotta and raspberry toast and it was mouthwatering. I’d definitely recommend giving it a shot! Just be aware that it is often busy and you may not get a spot to sit that isn’t shared or directly next to someone.

I love their lattes with oat milk. Fantastic flavors all around. I also picked up a lovely sourdough loaf and a croissant with awesome texture. Right now (June 2020) they just have a walk up window for ordering and social distancing. Service was quick.

This is no ordinary coffee shop! This downtown caffeine-pusher has a completely open concept because they want you to watch the baristas make your drinks. Rather than using the traditional roast level to describe their coffees, they categorize them on a scale of traditional to modern flavors. Traditional is sugar browning to dry distillation flavors, like chocolates, nuts, wines, tobacco. Modern represents fruits, floral, and citrus flavors. You can tell they love their coffee, because they even offer videos on their website that show how different coffees are made. I had their mocha and it was amazing. Its made with Ecuadorian chocolate and given a sprinkle of black salt on the top that sends it completely over the top!

Excellent coffee shop as one would expect from a group that roasts such fine coffee. Having enjoyed their beans in hot springs and at home I made a special side trip just to visit them (and got a bonus visit to the Walmart museum!). Well worth it. Cold brew coffee was excellent and I really enjoyed my avocado toast which I had been fasting to enjoy (though sadly they were out of eggs). Space is beautiful and welcoming. Staff are appropriately hipster and also very friendly as well as serious about their craft.After a walkabout to finish my cold brew I went back to pick up some beans and try their mocha. It was overly sweet for me but the addition of black salt was a hit. Later I cut it with some oat milk but it was still too sweet so maybe adding an extra shot of espresso is the answer if you are sensitive to sugar like I am

Great coffee/espresso and breakfast snacks. We got there a little before 9am on Sunday and beat the rush. It is a little pricey, for both the drinks and the food, but worth it. The avocado toast had a perfectly cooked runny egg on top. Would go back next time Im in bentonville.

Things to be aware of: frequently busy, expect waits and longer lines, also there is limited seating with outlets nearby for power source is you’re there to study or work. Expect to spend $12-16 per person for a drink, foods, and tip.Details:Love the breakfast sandwich! It’s my go-to, because I love a croissant with coffee and the sandwich has an egg for that protein boost in the morning. The spread they use on this is amazing - not too much, it’s just slightly tangy, and really makes this awesome. I also thoroughly enjoy the avocado toast (I AM a millennial after all), again, simple but elevated. Whatever little extra stuff they sprinkle on this (vinaigrette?) it’s divine. Have had it get overly salty with the sprinkle seasoning. They have run out of avocado before and this wasn’t available. Bet that was a dangerous day, because 75% of the menu has avocado involved.Coffeeeeee I will literally get a hot and cold coffee because why not. Please do yourself a favor and get a pour over. The nitro cold brew is delicious but one day that was broken and they did regular coffee over ice. I’ll be honest, it was fine, but next time I’d just get hot coffee if the nitro isn’t available.Also, even on busy weekends, if you didn’t get your order in 15 minutes, go ask on it. Was there waiting for 30-45 minutes, trying to be patient and understanding about the obvious rush but no, they just never put the food order in. Was literally sitting right in front of the order booth the whole time. Came out in like 5 minutes or less once we asked on it. Appreciated that it was refunded, just know that even for three items they should be able to crank those out fairly fast.WiFi - as a remote worker free WiFi and a good spot is a godsend. If you have video chats or need higher speeds, this is not your spot, but that’s to be expected. What I’ve found is most of the areas that have a power source nearby are all high-top seating with stools. I’m am an elder millennial, so some back support is nice for the four hours I need to slave away at my laptop. I haven’t thoroughly scoured every inch of this place (cause that’d be weird) but if you wanted to get a few hours in, just know you might be alternating seating to stay charged/get that lumbar support.You gotta leave the shop for bathrooms but they’re super clean and nice.Finally, trash cans dude. The trash slot is at the bar by the coffee pick up - small round hole in counter. Doesn’t fit all the boxes. I feel weird smashing my small breakfast box down that hole. Like, I wanna punch it down but that’s not really socially acceptable. But I guess neither is a review this long and detailed. Here we are. That trash can is over by the back and I have seen that thing stacked/overflowing with boxes. Didn’t see trash cans readily available outside either, even though there’s a ton of outdoor seating.

Oh I will miss this place. It was home to good coffee and best almond croissants for 6 years. Local roasted coffee beans. Local inhouse baked goods. Always a beautiful smile from Amber! Visitors to Bentonville this place is a must. Make sure to say hello to Amber and ask for a splash of cardomon in your latte!

Great place! Got the Onyx Delight and it was delicious. The service was great. Despite a long line of customers, the staff was upbeat and friendly. A woman walked through the line asking anyone if they had questions. Also, the place was crowded but there were plenty of places to sit despite that. WiFi available and great atmosphere. Will be back!

Fantastic coffee, possibly the best cup I’ve had in all of Arkansas. A mocha with coconut milk and it tasted great!Long line moved quickly, very efficient, baked goods and a fridge with gluten free snacks like chia pudding. Beautiful interior also plenty of patio seating. Thanks Onyx Coffee Lab!

This is our go-to for coffee, atmosphere, and customer service. The coffee (Americanos mostly) has always been consistent, which is a huge plus. I cant speak to food here, as Im generally just drinking caffeine. I also appreciate the great attitudes of the baristas - even when the line is out the door and there are people impatiently waiting. Keep it up Onyx - we love you!

Beautiful space. Great latte. However, their whole bean coffee has not impressed me yet. Ive tried several varieties and they were okay, but not great for the price.

Sublime, totally cool-looking coffee spot. I don’t claim to be a coffee aficionado so can only say it was good coffee. Their breakfast menu options, however, are sorely lacking. One kind of muffin and a bunch of toasts.

Nice place with a large selection of coffee. They also have some beer, tea, and other drinks. They do have a small food menu too. Pretty much everything but the cold brew and baked goods are made right in front of you when you order. While I didnt have any of the pastries, they look amazing. I had the bacon and egg toast and frankly coffee. The toast was a good portion, pretty fairly priced, and most importantly tasted excellent. The coffee I had wasnt really exceptional, it just tasted pretty mild. On the other hand Im getting over a cold and Im not a coffee connisuer so this is likely just me, or I chose mild coffee. In either case I still plan on returning. They have a ton of seating both inside and out with several types to choose from (bartop, small tables, upholstered chairs, and regular tables), plenty of outlets if you need power, and free WiFi.

This is my favorite coffee shop in the area. I make a point to stop in whenever Im in town. The touch of black salt in the mocha is fantastic and something I havent seen anywhere else.

Coming from Kansas City, where we have a bunch of really great coffee shops, I was truly taken aback by how next level this place is. Not a lot of food choices, but what they do prepare is incredible. Highly recommend the avocado toast with pickled onions. As far as the coffee goes, many choices all of which can be served pour over. I don’t usually do specialty drinks, but the mocha was high key good.

Ordered Onyx delight and nitro cold brew and both were amazing!

The aesthetic here is incredible. Not only is this place beautiful but the coffee is amazing too. There’s plenty of coffee shops shops in Oklahoma that brew Onyx coffee, there stuff is pretty well-known. I got a raw smoothie just to switch things up and my wife got an iced vanilla latte both of which were very tasty.

Went during the Farmers Market on the square. Had a Salted Mocha with a chocolate muffin. Both were delicious.

I have been publicly reviewing bathrooms since 2018. There are five pillers to a good bathroom: Cleanliness, quality of soap, the amount of automazation in the bathroom, privacy, and the door on the bathroom. Each of the categories gets a ranking out of 5 stars, this is averaged to give the location its rank.Cleanliness: it was very clean. 5 out of 5.Soap: was soft soap brand. So... not the best. 3 out of 5.Automazation: toilets and hand dryers were automatic, nothing else was. 2 out of 5.Privacy: the stall doors went up very high and low. 5 out of 5.Door: had to pull open once inside. There was no foot puller. But there were hand towels. 3 out of 5.Extra: the wallpaper was super cool. I would go back to just look at the wallpaper.Coffee: was very good they took their time and you can tell!Toast: very good!

The Macaroons where amazing. I had the Onyx Delight, not my thing but I definitely can see the appeal.

This coffee place was the highlight of my Bentonville trip. Its an absolute treat for any coffee lover. They have the best varieties of black and white coffees. I tried the more traditional Mocha for my first attempt. It was amazing! I was going to make another trip to onyx, but I couldnt. I would loved to try their other flavors too. If you are willing to go rouge, try their Ethiopian or Kenyan black coffees. Its very rare to find those varieties elsewhere.

Fantastic coffee with a lot of different and unique choices. Their seasonal menu has a lot of great drinks and they are one of the few places Ive seen using Yuzu. Dont forgot to try a macaron.

Their checkout system does not allow you to checkout without leaving a tip. Is that legal, to require a tip being left in order to checkout? I am all for leaving a good tip but how about earning it first.There were several people standing around, but they managed to burn our crossiants after holding us up for a $2 tip.I feel like they stole our money. Lots of other places to go to on the square in Bentonville. Avoid Onyx Coffee Lab.
