Love that we have a bean to bar shop here. Stop by and take a tour. Friendly knowledgeable staff. Ive had the opportunity to take a few classes and they are always fun and informative. Besides all the amazing chocolate bar concoctions they also have wonderful baked treats. Creme brulee, chocolate layer cake, tarts, cookies, truffles and caramels. Of course all made with their chocolates. You can even buy cookie dough to take and bake.

I called them ahead of time to see if they used Red 40 in any of their products. I was told they did not, which was great news. If anyone has a sensitivity and/or allergy to synthetic dyes then you understand the joy. I would like to know for a fact that I can have everything there without having a reaction.They have a variety of chocolate goods such as cookies, chocolate bars, truffles, etc. They have shelf items you can take home that may make great gifts for Chocolate-Loving friends.The Chocolate Cake was soft & rich. I had it twice actually. It stored nicely in the feezer.

Whats not to love about Chocolate. The sign sold me on getting a martini, how fun! The sea salt almond bar is yum! My husband had an Old Fashioned at their little bar. There are tea options, cookies, and more.

When it comes to Mousse au Chocolat, I know my craft. They use way to much whipping cream and barely any chocolate. It was blah and sad. I guess I’ll have to try another place for amazing chocolate artistry.Also don’t call it a Chocolate Mousse if you intentionally know that you have not followed the proper recipe.

Wow. Sea Salt Almond I was expecting a chocolate with so much sophistication that it would be inedible. But. It was a delicious chocolate not too dark, just the right amount of sea salt and almond. Loved it

Coffee bar now shuts down early. Expresso available until closing. Had a slice of six layer chocolate cake with was stale (icing was hard and cake was very chewy). Cappuccino was decided good.What happened to the freshness that use to be here in all the products? Has the pandemic caused that much of a decrease that quality has gone out of style?

Great place for a date or chocolate gift. You will eat every crumb of their cookie. They also offer a variety of drinks. The atmosphere is clean and the service is friendly and comfortable. ALSO, they try to be as eco friendly as possible and use reusable straws and silver ware rather than the plastic other establishments burn through.

Stopped in twice. Both times after eating over at Yeyos. The staff was super friendly and informative about what they offered. Truffles, bars, cookies, and more. They use Onyx coffee and and can add their own chocolate. I ordered a double shot mocha and it was amazing but also $9 before tip. Looking forward to going back for a bar of chocolate!

We took the chocolate tour and it was awesome! We had so much fun seeing how the chocolates were made from start to finish, and the $20 price tag even included our taking our favorite chocolate bar of choice home with us. Sampling all of the different chocolates was great - I just couldnt pick a favorite! We also got a chocolate martini and a Chow Cacao (which was recommended by the owner and isnt on the current menu) and they were both tasty and packed a punch!

Such a fun experience. It’s neat to be able to see all the behind the counter things going on. The young lady there was super helpful and nice. She offered us samples of different chocolates .. some that I had not tried. The lavender chocolate was amazing! The cookies are so cookielicious!! The mixed adult beverage was delicious! Perfect mixture! Im not a huge chocolate fan, but I would definitely and will definitely go back! Yum yum!!! Saw a huge chocolate cake in there! NEED to try that next time!! 🍫

Team Celebration - I organized a Wine/Chocolate/Cheese Tasting Virtual Event for my work team. Preston @ Markham & Fitz and Jessica @ Sweet Freedom Cheese hosted the event. They worked together seamlessly to provide us with a great experience. Our team members enjoyed treats shipped or delivered directly to their doors and then a full hour learning about pairings and the makings of cheeses and chocolates. I wouldnt have expected a place like this to be in Bentonville! Markham and Fit is shop in the 8th Street Market (formerly branded as Hello Cocoa) where they make their one chocolate confectioneries: truffles, chocolate bars, beverages, and a variety of desserts. It was delicious and had a nice decor. Menu could be more descriptive or the staff more informative. Service could also be a bit faster, we ordered two drinks and they were brought out separately. The first sipping chocolate was already finished by the time the second came out, so the timing is slightly awkward if you are in a group/on a date. The 75% sipping chocolate was delicious; it was very smooth, not bitter, chalky/powdery, or syrupy thick. It was a pleasant surprise, I dont usually enjoy hot chocolatey things that much! At $7/cup though, it is not something I can imbibe on often, though I do plan on returning!

I visited with the owners and had a great conversation. I had the cocoa tea - made from cocoa bean shells crushed and steeped. The tea had a wonderful chocolate flavor but I oversteeped it. A tiny bit of salt or just a bit more sugar would have overcorrected my error. But the menu is delicious. Looking to come back for more

My fiancé Mary and I walked in to Markham & Fitz Chocolate today and were greeted by Hunter behind the counter. We’d met him a month ago when we’d walked in the first time. He recognized us and was very welcoming!Hunter suggested we try some samples and was cool and patient while Mary and I bickered loudly over what our chocolate intake limit would be for the day (I ultimately lost that discussion and we bought more chocolate than I initially intended). On that note, fun fact: Markham and Fitz currently have these delicious little alcoholic chocolate balls and they’re addictive. They’re not what you’d normally expect. The alcohol isn’t just in the center of the chocolate by itself—it’s mixed in as part of the process and the flavor is infused throughout the chocolate!The purchase went smooth and fast (they have a card, chip and NFC reader—and they also take cash) and we sat down to enjoy some chocolate. After a minute or two we looked around and noticed a few families smiling and laughing, with young children’s smiling faces being wiped up with napkins.Mary loves the atmosphere of this place and so do I. I’ve never actually gone to a sit-down chocolate shop before we moved to Arkansas, and I can honestly say that I’ve been missing out. We can’t wait to come during the summer to sit outside and meet new people while we munch on some decadent goodness.What’s really going to bring us back are the employees and the fun business model. I’m confident that if we had any issues at all during our experience, they would have been dealt with happily and confidently with a smile. I purchased a couple of tours for my brother and sister-in-law for Christmas. We had to reschedule a couple of times within the same day and Sarah (of Markham & Fitz) was very accommodating. She was gracious in changing her schedule to make it work for them and we are very appreciative! It was nice to be able to communicate via email as well. Wed definitely recommend it!

Last night was my introduction to M&F chocolate and found their product was excellent. Unfortunately I will never again cross their threshold. Why? Two hours later, I received a text from Square, their mobile payment provider, telling me that I had just got my first point from M&F. The only way they know me would have to come from the credit card I used to pay for my order. This is a real privacy issue that I WILL be investigating further. What other personal information did they share without my permission? Why didnt they ask...like a reputable business would?

We did the chocolate tour and had a great time! The experience is well worth the cost of just $20! We learned so much and got to taste a bunch of chocolate! This company really cares about the environment and the people involved in the process all the way from the farm to the workers in the store! All the chocolate desserts looked amazing and the chocolate itself was unlike any I’ve had before! A must visit!

Chocolate was great! Had Brownies/Chocolate chip cookies & Chocolate cake. Only wish there was more variety of treats especially chocolate variations like milk chocolate/white chocolate not a big fan of dark chocolate but what I had (60% dark chocolate) was good enough to eat and enjoy. A great place to stop for dessert, with delicious chocolate creations from brownies to truffles and from creative hot chocolates to chocolate cocktails.They also have take-home items like a wide variety of their own artisan chocolate bars, cacao juice (which tastes fruity, delicious, and nothing like chocolate), cocoa tea, and more. Plenty of gluten free and dairy free options too.

The Ohh La Lavender bar 🍫 is worth the award it won! Absolutely delicious & fragrant. I also love that they use Onyx coffee ☕️—try their iced mocha with coconut 🥥 milk 🥛—it’s to die for! Very clean and light atmosphere, friendly team, and fair prices for the extremely high quality ingredients used in the various desserts. I’m looking forward to some sugar free options (fingers crossed 🤞🏼) bc Lily’s is okay for my at home baking, but I love M&F! They’re definitely worth checking out and—oh! They also have beautiful truffles in gift boxes!!

The display case needs to be bigger and longer. only one person can look inside and if two people try, no one else can see anything. Unbelievable they go through all that beautiful glass surroundings and they got a miniature display case. Are you really selling chocolates or coffee. Your coffee bar is a thousand times bigger.

Went on the tour and had a blast! Loved seeing the entire process from bean to bar and getting to taste test the different variations they sell in the shop. Highly recommend for anyone looking for a unique experience in NWA. Also each ticket comes with a free chocolate bar so that’s pretty sweet.

This is a review of the chocolate, as I havent been to the store. Im quite familiar with premium chocolate bars from around the world, and these really impressed me. I honestly didnt expect much, but Ill be buying some again.Highly recommend the 70% bar and I hope that they come out with additional 70% single origin bars.

We expected a coffee house, but were pleasantly surprised that this place makes their own chocolate bars and chocolate tea. The place gives tours and sells their chocolates which were very good. The place is not marked well with no sign except a paper one on the door. Definitely, just getting started.

The best Chai Cocoa latte I have ever had. An explosion of exotic flavors including cardamom. The mocha chocolate bar, the lavender chocolate bar were unique. I have never known a company to start with the raw cocao and use such few very pure ingredients and yet taste so creamy and rich - gourmet.

Excellent artisan chocolate. They have drinks, chocolate bars, truffles, and other goodies made in house. This is a from bean to bar store and it is amazing. I love that they give samples. She said they also give tours of the bar making process.

Ordered cookie and a chocolate and waited at cash register for 5 minutes and nobody rang up my order so I walked out. The most difficult $4 cookie attempted purchase to date. Its hard to shake the feeling that this is yet another side hobby of one of the Waltons family or friends that can afford to sell overpriced items.
