For Easter weekend they featured a special Easter Brunch with a preset menu including five-courses of pure deliciousness. Overall the customer service and experience was an amazing one. We were very happy to spend our time together in this well planned out event. We look forward to more!

Foxtail Bakery made our wedding cake and the other desserts for our special day and completely exceeded our expectations. We couldn’t decide on just one flavor for the cake, so they were kind enough to make a four tier wedding cake with two different flavors and it was phenomenal. The cake was both beautiful and delicious!

I bought a cake from their existing cake/flavor offerings. No custom work done. Let me tell you, this cake was the best Ive ever had. It easily fed a party of 8 and became my breakfast lunch and dinner treat for the next several days. The flavor was amazing but the texture and moistness is what was most impressive. I feel terrible about myself now, but it felt great while eating it. 11/10 - get your cake here.

We hired Foxtail for our wedding and cant recommend them enough. I have been an avid Foxtail fan since they were next to Hutchs, so having their desserts at our wedding made it that much more special. Nickol is a master of her craft. Everything is balanced in texture and flavor, not too sweet, and is a work of art.

Working with Nickol and Laura has been wonderful. We couldnt have been more happy with our wedding cake. It was delicious and looked great even before flowers. Also, when I picked up the cake the staff member even carried it out to my car for me which was super nice.While in the restaurant we tried the several of the new menu items including the Herbivore and Cornelia. We had to wait a little bit for the food to come out but it was worth the wait. Everything was delicious, upscale and gourmet all in a casual setting.

A must stop-in if your in the area! Small and quaint with a good menu selection. Staff is super friendly and they have great outdoor seating options if your wanting to practice social distancing. This item is their Aubergine Goddess Naan - many levels of flavor and more on the savory side. ‘Twas delicious.

Foxtail did a dessert bar for our wedding and our guests couldnt stop raving about all the desserts. We also had got a cake from them for our elopement and it was hands down the best cake we have ever eaten. Their desserts truly are one of a kind.

Terrible owner, she was extremely rude and uppity with me. I also witnessed an employee being belittled and screamed at while waiting for my baked goods. Food itself was overpriced and overrated. Staff even seems to give special treatment to white people and to treat minorities rather poorly, rather sad to see something like that a buisness in bend. This was last year this happened but the owner seems to take no responsibility for her actions and deny any claims made against her bakery, I believe she sees no fault in her bigotry or abuse and tries to cover up the truth with lies, glad this place closed down, I hope it goes out of business, which if it keeps going down same road when it reopens, if it ever does,it will definitely be shut down

Every year we get little cakes to remember our wedding day. 4 years going strong here bakery is still bomb and delish.

We used foxtail for our wedding cake (+ 2 pies). Everything was delicious and my guests raved about the desserts. I’m giving 3 stars because the bakers forgot to put greenery on our cake (despite being on the contract) and it looked very plain. My in-laws picked up the cake and I didn’t even think to say to them “check if the cake has greenery”… I just assumed the bakers wouldn’t forget that. They also almost forgot to give us our gold cake stand but my in laws noticed and went back in to get it. Finally, throughout the process the bakers/owners were a challenge to communicate with and I often had to follow up a few times to get a response. I assume it’s because they’re very busy, so perhaps the owners should consider hiring someone to handle logistics/communication with customers so little things don’t fall through the cracks. Overall this bakery came highly recommended so I was just a little disappointed/surprised by my experience.

Great instagram-able aesthetics...Fantastic and interesting gourmet breakfast foods...And CBD infused coffee?!? What more do you need? The Savory Waffle in particular is a spiritual experience!!! The waiting line can get long fast during peak brunch hours so try to hit it a little early or a little late. The staff do a pretty good job of keeping up with the orders but indecisive people can slow the line quite a bit.

I anxiously awaited Foxtail’s opening and it was so worth it! From out of town guests to needing the perfect pastry, Foxtail is where I go! I love the custom order pies, the marionberry is incredible. There is no bad option and I love their breakfast sandwich! The cafe is expertly decorated and the coffee is delicious! They make all their own syrups for the coffees!

The best pastries I’ve had probably in my entire life. There breakfast is also stellar. I have had quite a few of their pastries and not been disappointed. Every detail is very thoughtful, and it shows when you eat the food. They do have a few gluten free options, and they don’t taste gluten free, bless. It’s a fun place to grab brunch, but if you want pastries come early, they will sell out!!

Foxtail is, hands down, the best bakery I have ever been to. The amount of care that goes into their food is evident - from where the ingredients are sourced all the way to the edible flowers on top of their sweet croissants! The pastries are top notch, and the meals are great too - there is clearly a lot of effort put into incorporating complex flavors and textures. In short, its the best, and a total institution in Bend. Show up early for the best selection, they sell out fast.

Ive never had cornbread like this. Absolutely mouth watering paired perfectly with the vanilla cream and baked peach.

I cant say enough good things about Foxtail. The food is visually stunning and flavor is of the same caliber. I love The Toad but today I tried the French Toast. Best thing Ive ever eaten. Im not kidding. Id go back everyday if I could.

Food is good but terrible service. The staff actually yell at people and then run away from my group like the plague by stepping wayyyy back were it was very obvious and awkward. Which makes no sense when people are Sitting closer with no masks on. There’s many other options in bend that are better. My daughters and I were definitely targeted this morning because no one else got discriminated against. Then they were very cheery and courteous to others who weren’t social distancing. Ha, the cashier even leaned closer to a customer. I couldn’t help but notice we were the only latinas there so the thought that were discriminated against based on race did come up. Only one very kind waitress there that I did compliment to her.

Foxtail was so helpful and enthusiastic about helping me place a long-distance order for my sisters birthday! And according to her, the cookies were divine!

Foxtail has the BEST bakeries in Bend, BY FAR!! You can order on their website for pick-up ahead of you want to skip the line! I wake up early to get my orders in right when the open so I have the pick of the lot! I cannot stress this enough: no bakery in the area can compete with the quality and creativity that Foxtail Bakery has!!

Such delicious food and absolutely charming decor! We had a delay with getting our food, but they were apologetic and gave us delicious little complimentary desserts. FOXTAIL is an impressive brunch spot and bakery. Everything is of the highest quality ingredients and immaculately presented. Both the food and the dining area are so visually interesting and the forest theme is carried throughout the restaurant to every detail. I really enjoyed all of the dishes we tried (and plenty can be made vegetarian). Ive rarely seen a menu so innovative.

Whether you live in Bend or are visiting, Foxtail Bakeshop is a MUST go-to. Every option, whether it be savory or sweet is so delicious. The atmosphere is fun, welcoming and relaxed. Their wedding cakes are so good that they book out almost a year in advance- so if you are getting married in Central Oregon- consider getting your cake ASAP- you wont regret it!

Until the end of March, staff was providing home delivery. Thank you for making and delivering a beautiful birthday cake for my husband! It was a significant birthday and having it while isolating was no fun until your cake showed up.

Always delicious. The setting is great, the baked goods are the best in town and they serve delicious coffee. This place gets super busy and sells out fast, the earlier you go the more likely youll have a selection.

Ordered the Benedict skillet. Although I was the only one having a prepared dish (everyone else orderd a pastry) The cook chatted with a friend for a few minutes before cooking it, so it was a 12 minute wait. By them, my wife had finished her pastry and coffee and was ready to go. The dish arrived with mostly overcooked fried potatoes and two tiny less than bite size chunks of pork. Im crossing this place off my list for good!

They were very easy to work with, prompt, and the cake itself was absolutely stunning. Whats better is how delicious it was! The cake was certainly the star of the show and our guests couldnt stop talking about it! You can really taste the high quality of the ingredients with every bite and you can trust that this bakeshop will not skimp on service, quality, or taste.

Honestly, Nicole is one of the most talented bakers Ive ever had the pleasure of coming across. Not only is EVERYTHING in that bakeshop so delicious, its gorgeous too. Its not a surprise they often sell out of the baked goods fairly early on. The home-made poptarts are to die for. My favorite thing there. They also have a menu with epic food. Id like to recommend this to everyone.. Except the problem is.... The more people coming the less poptarts for me! HaSeriously... Go try one.

Really good pace to get coffee or a brunch. We had a group of 10 in their upstairs table. We tried most of their menu and everthing was delicious! We head secret different coffees and they were all good as well! Would go again!

I love this bakeshop so so much! The staff and atmosphere cant be beat and their FOOD is beyond delicious! This is always my go to when I have guests from out of town visiting and its my regular spot just for me :) They also made my wedding cake and Im only sad I didnt order a bigger one so Id have more for me after the wedding! We got the Athena flavor which is Vanilla bean chiffon cake with mascarpone whip & fresh Oregon berries finished with brown sugar butter cream. It was seriously the best cake Ive ever tasted! Whether youre looking for a cool and tasty local hangout or someone to make you the most delicious and unique wedding cake, Foxtail is the place.

If you are addicted to succulent and crispy pastry..,look no further. Food and drinks are heavenly. A feast for the eyes as well as taste buds.Today a had a rose croissant. Between that and my London Fog Tea, I felt like I was injesting an English rose garden. Yum.

Nickol was amazing to work with! I am from out of town and was only in the area for a few days trying to plan my whole wedding she was able to meet with me on a day she is not normally open for my tasting. Everything was delicious, it made the decision hard! When we cut the cake at the wedding my husbands first remark was that he didnt want to give me any as it was too good! Delicious and absolutely beautiful!

Had a coffee, salty queen, and cinnamon/ocean looking roll. Sophisticated flavors! Their ocean roll looking roll destroys Sparrows ocean roll. These guys are legit, real bakery. No offense to Sparrow, great service there, but stuff tasted like Walmart, which is common in the states.

I never liked French Macaroons until I tried one from Foxtail Bakeshop. Nickols creativity oozes out of every treat with not only exceptional flavor but lovely presentations and on top of it she is a rad, down to earth human. My favorites are the cake jars and the anticipation of discovering her newest sweet creations. If you are visiting or live here I highly recommend treating yourself to a tart or two.

Had lunch here today. The Cascadia was so delicious and who could pass on the lemon tart and French macaroons?! Not me!! I can’t wait to come back. Oh, they had lemonade and coffee. You have to try it. Not a combo I would have thought works but it does.

I ordered the cascadia to go, got into my car and took one bite and ended up eating the entire meal in the front seat of my car. I COULD NOT SET IT DOWN IT WAS SO MAGICAL. The lovely young woman at the register was as pleasant as could be. After I finished my food I went home and raved to my roommates about the life changing meal I just had. The portion was definitely smaller than what the average American is used to because well, lets admit it our portion perspective is warped and disgusting. I thought it was the perfect amount of food, and if one is still hungry there are so many beautiful pastries to fill up on so really... Its quite impossible to not have a wonderful experience here. Thank you for exisiting.

This is an annual visit and we have enjoyed it both times. Delicious pastries and other wonderful food items and coffee drinks.

We always loved the bakery and now with the kitchen serving savory dishes it’s a bigger hit. We enjoyed the naan lunch and the pork belly menu offering.We pick out our box of sweet treats and placed a pie order for Mother’s Day.

Foxtail is in the building, and boy its worth it.From the moment you walk in, the art wall, the attention to every little detail is meticulous.The counter and the variety of baked goods is mouth watering.The vibe is great, the ambiance even more, oh, and theres a loft. Over-priced. $10 for a chai latte and a small apple cider?! Pastries are a little too out there for me. If you like unusual flavor combos and don’t mind spending a lot of money you will like it as the atmosphere is visually stimulating.

Nickol has been baking cookies for Cowboy Carriage Christmas caroling tours for years. She goes out of her way deliver them to our rides and even makes us hot chocolate. She is excellent to work with. If there happens to be cookies left after a ride I am very happy to make sure they are not wasted!

I had my wedding at Sunriver Resort a couple weeks ago. We planned to do a small cutting cake in addition to a huge ice cream sundae bar. I called about 3 weeks early to place an order for a wedding cake through Foxtail because I had heard such good reviews. They told me they were no longer accepting ANY wedding orderS until late December. I asked if I could order a one layer, blank, simple cake (a birthday cake in their terms) for our special day. They kindly agreed. On the day of our wedding, my aunt went to pick up the cake for me and Foxtail was unable to find our reservation. After finding the receipt, the baker came out to publicly humiliate my aunt and tell her how terrible it was to have a “birthday cake” at a wedding after only giving me the option to buy this cake for our wedding? She was extremely rude. The cake was good but unfortunately the rude and unnecessary customer service overrides the product.

This bakeshop stays very busy and for good reason! Despite being fully booked for weddings, Nickol was able to squeeze us in as a pickup order. We love that she uses local and organic ingredients and with all the rave reviews, she was the first and last person I contacted for a cake. We wanted to incorporate something local from our home in Alaska: hand-picked wild Alaska blueberries my husband had collected. When we arrived in Bend, just three days before our wedding, we dropped off our package of berries and Nickol used the whole berries in the bottom layer of our cake and also used them to make a blueberry jam for our top chocolate layer. The cake was better than I could have imagined. My only disappointment was not getting to eat more of my slice of chocolate cake. Never walk away from your cake at the reception. If it is made by Foxtail, sit back and enjoy it!

However the fact that you responded to my low rating by strongly hinting that was my reason for giving your business a 1 star, literally floors me. I was in a rush and didnt have the time to write up a full review at that moment, but no reason to do so now, since you handled my rating in such a poor manner. Thanks for saving me the time.

Upon walking in, I was overwhelmed with the beauty of this atmosphere and the vibe that it offered. However, as I browsed the many, many pastry options, there was not one vegan option. My boyfriend and I left not only feeling disappointed but let down that we couldnt stay and enjoy the bakery. Please offer vegan options.

I’m dissapointed that this establishment did not offer any vegan pastry options. I had to take my business next door to Fix and Repeat, which was a wonderful, welcoming place and was a better alternative for plant-based options.

Have traveled extensively and the quality and presentation of their creative offerings were mind numbing. Sisters and I had to try one of almost everything they had. Epic! Thanks to the ladies that pour love into every treat.

Food is really gross weird combos almost too unique. Over priced, $5 for a small drink might as well go to Starbucks across the street or Strictly Organic if I must but local.

Everything I have had from there has exceeded my expectations.

Eclairs were stunning. The creativity, attention to detail, and flavor demonstrates absolute mastery of the craft. If you want to make someones day bring them donuts. If you want to make someones year, bring them a box of macaroons from Foxtail.
