If I could give negative stars I would. Just left the store and I am straight disgusted at how the woman working (late twenties, early thirties, medium brown hair) treated me.I tried on a decent amount of clothes.. maybe 15 things or so.. lol so what? First off, It’s empty in there. She acted like she was too busy to put some clothes away? She was rolling her eyes at me and using a sarcastic rude tone like a straight teenager.I can only imagine putting clothes back on racks is in the job description.. don’t think it’s that difficult of a task. Her customer service was complete trash and she needs a reality check on how to treat people. I would be embarrassed if I were her representing that store. Completely in disbelief at how she acted.. I’ll be going back because I love to thrift and that one in particular. But I really hope I get some better customer service.I give it at my job, circle of life sister, give it at yours, come on now.
This store is amazing, always good finds here. Has full stock of mens and womens clothing as to what Ive seen. Great customer service and very friendly ☺️ also the lady named sage Ada is wrong, I was there that day. She was rude and obnoxious and looked suspicious like she was trying to steal and left giant pile of clothes on the jewelry display case.
Some overpriced stuff, but hey, thats show biz baby. It is still a local business. I hope the employees are paid well because I like those that I have met so far. A nice guy gave me a book for free and the gal that works there is chill and helpful.
Wow. The pricing of the thrift store doesnt match their quality, the store was also dirty. This is donated stuff, and they charge like everything is a rare antique
City Thrift: The thrift store that sells you donated things at retail prices!!! Ive tried donating there but theyve never been accepting donations when Ive tried. They do have a great selection but I cannot bring myself to pay what theyre asking for most items. Large book selection thats alphabetized and decent prices for books.
Severely overpriced and slightly grimy. You can’t just take old items, call it vintage, and then slap an expensive price tag on it.
Love them especially the older dude ... But cant visit as much due to the prices going up n up
I dont go here very often, but I absolutely love this place. The staff are super friendly and usually willing to negotiate prices. Only issue is, being a consignment, items can be priced ridiculously high depending on whoever is selling them, and inventory isnt rotated out very well. Many items have been on the shelves well over a year just because theyre priced so high and no one wants to buy them. But every once in a while youll find a great deal there. Ive been repairing antique appliances for a while now and got an awesome deal on some 1950s electric fans to fix up.
Prices are terrible! They are asking ridiculous price for pieces, broken ripped up chair for $99?!
I have found the prices to be pretty good with a good selection of stuff. Donating is very easy and the staff is helpful and friendly.
Love thrift shopping but this is not one of those stores. Prices are outrageous and almost retail. I believe the store is drawing the “thrift” crowd with its name that falls just short of saying it is a full on thrift store. Feels more like consignment. Not going to beat it down. Just not a thrift store. Too pricey.
They have great stuff. It just seems a little spendy!
I was surprised at how high the prices were for a thrift store. It’s like they think they’re an antique store. They were more expensive than Goodwill
This place seems like a literal joke. Half the stuff theyre trying to sell could be purchased brand new for less money
Lots of neat stuff, just very expensive for a thrift store
Have given this place a few tries. I have also visited almost all the thrift stores in Bend and Redmond on multiple occasions and this place isnt even close to the same ballpark as far as price goes. I understand that a lot of it is consignment so I assume that is where the high prices come from. My advice to you City thrift is stop trying to sell peoples junk in your store, tell em to either donate it so you can resell at a fair price or sell on Craigslist like the rest of America. Two stars because I think if you are looking for some cool wall art or some comic book or movie figurines they have stuff worth checking out.
Its really over priced but they have good stuff.
This isnt really a thrift store anymore. Its a place that accepts donations and then prices everything as high as possible. So it runs more like an antiques or collectibles shop. Youll pay what youd pay online, or maybe more. Two stars because they have some good stuff, especially toys and clothes. Its just advertised falsely as a thrift store.
This store is very overpriced for what it has.
First off, the prices here are ridiculous. There are so many alternative thrift stores that won’t rip you off. It is insane how much they overcharge at this store. The employees here aren’t super helpful either, and the two times I’ve been in here they seemed to want me out of their hair. Was hoping for better.
Nice, but I can find some of this stuff brand new at the same price or cheaper. The average thrift store customer is looking to save mobey, not spend more.
Wow. Way over priced.
Clothing was very expensive sweatpants were 25$ and a tie dye t-shirt was 17$. We also found little pins that were 10$ and over each, which I believe is ridiculous. One of the younger staff did give us a fair price on some records that didn’t have labels on them only 5$ a piece for those. Other than that much too expensive for someone who is already buying used clothes and is probably going to a thrift store because they are on a budget.
Last time I go there. I tried to drop a book shelf in very good shape, said they didnt want it. It is in WAY better shape than most of their stuff. Plus their prices have become just too damn expensive for a thrift store. There are better places to go in Bend.
Piles of dusty stuff, worn out danner boots, $129 old microwave $39, thrift store goods for retail and boutique prices. 😬
This is the most ridiculously overpriced thrift store in all of bend!
The guy at the cashier was rude to us He said hello to everyone who walked in the store except us Everyone else in the store said thank you to him as they left and he responded to them As we we’re leaving I told him thank you and he didn’t say anything and I know he heard me
Super diverse and interesting collections of used things. I had an issue with something I bought there, they were super reasonable about helping me with the situation. Feel safe calling them the best thrift store in Bend.
Overpriced but well organized. Found one item Id consider buying but ultimately put it back and left empty handed.
This place is a joke. Went in on the evening of haloween to purchase a couple of items for a last second costume. I picked out a straw hat, a small furry vest, and a black long sleeve shirt and the gentleman who introduced himself as the owner attempted to charge us $50 ( the items here rarely have price tags) for three items from a donation based THRIFT STORE. He then had the audacity to try and make it seem like hes giving us a good deal and doing us a favor by discounting the sale by $5. This is a pure example of highway robbery. Do not shop here!
Laughing at the cost of items here.Nothing special about this thrift store except everything is boutique priced. Why pay new price for old finds. Did a loop walked out. 0 deals
Love this store good find and the atmosphere is fun! Shout out to josh the employee, he is such a great guy has a good heart for each person who walk in the store. I’ll be back!
Waaay over priced for what they are selling. I love thrifting and part of the fun is finding good deals. It’s not a good deal when you can go to a retail store and buy something brand new for the same price and sometimes cheaper than this “thrift” store. It defeats the purpose. I repeat, overpriced. Nice people so I gave another star. Wouldn’t recommend.
Love this place! Most organized and cleanest 2nd hand store in town. Proceeds Help local families in crisis. Staff is awesome and they will negotiate with you on prices if you make an offer!
Best thrift store Id been to in a while. Prices were supper cheep, everything was well organized and easy to find. Staff was supper friendly and even cut some $ off the already cheep price because I was new. Ya Ill be going back! The only downside is location, its kinda hard to get to in a big o truck lol.
The people who work there always say, Hi. They are happy to see me. Also, the variety from designer clothes to furniture, electronics and dishes!!?? Its amazing!! Fun and good buys!!
This place is packed full of second hand items for sale. Pricing is generally reasonable. They accept a variety of items as donation and can do a tax form if you want. There is a dedicated kids area of stuff upstairs too.
Jim is Amazing!! So helpful. Friendly and really goes out of his way to help you find what you are looking for. That Jim, needs a Raise!
I applaud the concept....trying to step out of the grungy thrift store box and be cool with hip music and a friendly staff, BUT the prices are outrages! The prices are higher than Goodwill and even though he proceed do stay local and go to familys in need isnt it iron that the merchandise is too expensive for people in need to shop there. It seem like they have a lot of inventory maybe if items were priced better they could purge some of the old stuff to make room for the new and have a faster turn over.Just food for thought.
Quality thrift store! Always find something noteworthy when I go here. Good prices and deals as well!
Cool place to find different stuff. Always fun to just browse.
This thrift store is one of the best. They habe good deals. On week days if you go in you can bargin your price. Its a local store that I hope never goes out. All of the clothes that are not used are shipped to countries over seas for people who need it more. I will always support this store.
I really cant recommend these guys enough. I saw an ad for some furniture they had posted on Craigslist. I called. The gentleman who answered knew about the ad and the pieces in it. It was a little more than I wanted to spend but hey there was a 20% off sale going on. He said they could deliver it for me and also take my old couch and give me a donation receipt all for $30. I said okay and gave him a credit card for the furniture and the delivery. This took about 5 minutes. The only hick-up was when theyd be able to deliver in my narrow availability window. A few hours later they called back and sure enough they could do it that day! An hour before the delivery time, another nice man called and got specific directions and said theyd be about 10 minutes late. They then showed up right on time. The delivery guys were very personable and told me about their charity. They delivered the furniture which was as described and hauled my old couch off and I was left marveling at this beautiful new furniture that was now in my living room when I hadnt done anything except make a phone call. Pretty awesome!! Im still kind of blowin away by their follow through and professionalism.
Probably the most overpriced thrift store I’ve ever been to. Ridiculously expensive AND so many dirty items! A lady shopping in the store told us not to even go to the kids section because it was filthy. A dirty, naked doll? $15! I will never go back.
I have always loved Trift Stores, however this one is so unicque. Its so organized and easy to find those treasures that others have abandoned. This is a fun place just to brouse and attempt to find that item you can do without.
Love it here. Josh is always very nice and they have a great selection of stuff!!!
Came in just to browse for 10 min, left an hour later very satisfied and enjoying my visit to bend
Its not as organized as some of the other thrift stores. The guy working the counter was very friendly asking all customers if they needed help finding anything. Thanked everyone for coming when people left.
Always leave with great deals and awesome service . Best place I’ve found in bend
Dirty, overpriced. I understand you have to turn a profit. But thrift stores have to constantly be rotating items. Hard to rotate a dirty pair of shoes for 7$ . So, not great.
This is a good thrift store. Worth visiting. :)
Well organized, the gentleman working the counter was very helpfull
EXPENSIVE. Need to take “thrift” out of the name. I went looking for a dresser and one the have is $499. The cheapest was a child’s dresser at $65. Used clothing appeared to be $35/ piece... not a place for the average customer.
Place is huge! Lots of things to look through. Better prices than goodwill.
Really enjoyed shopping for treasures at City Thrift. Stop in and browse through their shelfs and racks.
Cleaner and slightly more organized than the usual thrift store. Friendly staff.
They have some great stuff and are willing to bargain with prices
I went in there to get a box spring because mine broke and got a nice sturdy one for a super good price. The guy at the counter helped my husband carry it out. Then it didnt fit inside out suv so we had to go back in and buy some rope and he gave us 2 dollars off. There is so much stuff there too I want to go back and look around when I have some time.
Great thrift store! Reasonable prices, excellent book selection, supports great causes!
People are great and every time I walk in I come out with what I need
Great selection, real nice people working there.
Ok prices, customer service was wonderful
Went looking for graphic T’s. Regular Ts and ones with sports or other logos are 4 or 5 bucks, but if it has a DC or Marvel or Star Wars image, they are 15 or more! Might as well buy new for that price. Totally unimpressed with this store in every way.
Great stuff, though definitely not the cheapest place in town.
Great deals and awesome customer service :)
Nice place with a good selection and friendly staff.
Friendly staff with a great collection of items from clothes to cameras.
We donate & shop here, always a huge selection & super helpful staff too!
Sweet thrift store. will be back
Good prices and really helpful, friendly staff
Highway robbery; don’t understand it when the other thrifts in Bend are so great and cheap.
The place is great the service is awesome I absolutely love this store
Great thrift shop, donates back to the community.
Has a wide range of cheap, useful, interesting stuff
Sweet treasures to be found with a friendly staff at hand
So dirty, the guy who works there sounded like he was coughing up his lungs. He was super sick and was sneezing over all the clothes. Super unsanitary and wouldn’t recommend.
DirtyStained, torn clothing.$35 used coat? $10 used t-shirt?$15 used jeans?
Lots of stuff here. Kinda pricey. Different sections but not to much variety. Discovered there is an upstairs for the kids section. Lots of old people clothing and shoes.
It is a huge store. Looks small from outside and they have everything you can think of
It was larger then it looked on the inside. Had kids clothes and items up stairs. Had clothes, house hold goods, furniture. It was jam packed full of things. Made it a little hard to browse.
Great kid selection! Friendly staff!
Expensive worn down items. Inexperienced staff
The roof top boutique always houses many gems, usually half off if its a sale day.
The prices are outrageous! $20 for this pillow my wife figured would be a dollar. Everything in the store is expensive.
Expensive for a thift store and disorganized
Love a good bargain.
Had what I was looking for. Found things a bit overpriced.
Big shop, lots to see.
This place has a friendly staff and a little bit of everything in it.
There is almost always a gem in the store👍😊
Great for treasure hunters
Standard thrift store wares at three times the price.
Overpriced junk
Priced very high, low turnover
Not impressed.
Very unorganized and dirty.
