Eric did a great job of the estimating, and keeping the project on time, even when the supplier dropped the ball. He found an alternate which was every bit as nice as the first choice. The removal and new install all done in 3 days and terrific job done on the final trims and moldings!

We came to Summers upon the recommendation of friends with whom they had laid floors.Michael came to our house and discussed the project. Right from the start we felt like partners. He had many great suggestions that were incorporated into the final plan.The wood was delivered 7 days before the start of the job.LeRoy and Jake (the install crew) were fast, efficient, and thorough. They met the challenges our house presented with creativity. They were always very thoughtful and considerate of us.Scott finished the floor. He had an eye for detail. Very knowledgeable. He worked with us as we were in and out with overnights. He was patient and Michael joined him for a day or 2 and alsoreinstalled the molding.Heath came to tuck the carpet. Again, fast, efficient, and very personable during his short stay.We are very please with the final result. The amazing craftmanship is the direct result of very skilled craftsmen taking pride in their work. And each one spoke of Summers as a great to work. Its like family was the phrase we heard most often. Kudos also to the people who hired these people.

We are extremely pleased with the hardwood floor which was recently installed in our home. The installation started and completed ahead of schedule and the craftmanship was beautfully done. The sales and installation team were very helpful and timely in providing responses to our questions. One of the installers phoned me to give me an update and even sent me an in progress photo. All in all, working with Summers was a very enjoyable experience.

We did not purchase our flooring through Summers. We wished we had.They are a quality company with great staff.We had a dent in our wood floor and thought we would have to replace the whole board. Mike gave us another solution and repaired the dent on the spot. No one will ever know there was a dent there!If you are considering a flooring company, I would highly recommend Summers.

If I could give a zero star I would!! My husband and I are building a custom home and wanted to check out what they had to offer. And as soon as We walked in the door the woman that greeted us instantly stared me up and down with a snooty look and did it several times more in a the matter of a brief moment of asking us what we were there for. I simply wasn’t fixed up but that is no excuse for her judgmental stares. I have never felt so humiliated . I felt so uncomfortable, my husband and I decided to leave and would not be using them for any of our home flooring or decor. I guess she needs to go back to grade school and learn not to bully or judge a book by it’s cover?!

We had Summers remove some tiling in our home, install new hardwood floors in their place and then refinish and stain the existing floors in August 2020. The good news is that the floors look great! Unfortunately, there were some issues with the process resulting in some plumbing issues in our home, but Summers has been extremely responsive in making things right. We appreciate that they are a family-owned company that really cares about their customers!

Summers did an excellent job replacing the damaged boards in our wood floor and getting them to match the rest of the floor, we cannot tell which boards have been replaced. Communication was very good and they were on time with the project, everyone was excellent to work with - highly recommend!!

We had summers floors install our original hickory hardwood floors when we had the house built in 2004. we had great comments on the look of our floor. 2018 we had a dishwasher spill water on the floor while we were gone and the water caused damage to the floor. we had summers handle the repairs and refinishing our hickory floors and have had great comments. The floor looks fantastic, a great job. I believe they are the top of the line in the flooring business. The work performed by Summers was fantastic! The price was very competitive but the finished product was amazing. We had them install new hardwood floors to match 20 year old existing floors. They installed, sanded and refinished and the result is amazing. Our floors look brand new and you would never know that the new floor was not part of the original install. This is the second time we have used Summers for floor installation and refinishing. They are reliable, professional and do a great job. They scheduled the job about seven or eight weeks in advance and showed up on the appointed date and time. They kept to the schedule and completed the job when they said they would. The floors look so fabulous. We have used Summers to remove carpeting and replace with hardwood floors, and also to re-finish existing floors. They did a great job and we recommend them. The installation crew and the refinishing crew were all very nice to have working in our house, were all eager to please and took pride in their work. We are very happy with the process and the results.

My partner and I purchased our first home together last year and splurged on having all new engineered hardwood from Summer’s Flooring installed throughout the home. Within about 6 months we started to notice the floors were discoloring and showing clear signs of premature deterioration.Upon inspection, Summer’s Flooring said they looked like 10 year old floors. In clear further acknowledgement of the premature deterioration, Summers attempted a deep clean on the floors which made no difference. The manufacturer of the flooring we purchased went out of business a year ago and Summers has refused to replace the flooring. I had the owners of two other local flooring companies assess the condition of the floors and spoke to the GM of the manufacturer - all agreed that the floors should not have aged this quickly and that the floors were clearly defective. The previous GM of the manufacturer also noted that the way in which Summers attempted to ‘repair’ our floors actually locked in the damage further.After spending almost $20k on these defective floors and the complete lack of support and consideration we have received from Summer’s Flooring, I obviously cannot recommend anyone purchase flooring from them.

We recently moved to Bend from southern Oregon. The home we purchased was in dire need of new carpet. After doing some cost comparisons as well as quality of product, we felt Summers was our answer. The staff was knowledgeable and we were able to take samples of the carpet home to see how it would look in the rooms and not just under the showroom lights. The tear out of the old carpet and pad and installation of the new was quick and without any issues. The installer even took care of a couple of squeaky floor spots. The carpet looks great and has changed the whole look of the inside. So grateful for a great crew to work with. Best of all their pricing was competitive with Lowes. One of the stair steps that was put in was cut real jagged and is now splitting across. One of the steps has a staple shot into the middle of the step and is showing. Punched a hole in the wall by one of the steps. One of the flooring ends is raising up and will not stay flat.

I was able to schedule a time that was convenient ...the summers floor specialist showed up at the appointed time...shared with me the procedures and the expected timeline...the preparation work was impeccable...every nock & corner was sanded...the application of the coatings brought our floors back to their original beauty...And, the floor specialist finished on time...My wife & I are now enjoying our beautifully restored wood flooring!

We purchased our home approx. 3 years ago and noticed the Brazilian cherry floors had a horrible sheen that was shiny in some areas and dull streaks in other areas. I applied bona polish high gloss to try and fix the issues but it never resolved the horrible looking floors.Summers flooring/David came put with a special machine and stripped off all the years of bona polish high gloss and matte, which should not be applied to any hardwood floors, and David brought the floors back to the original manufacture finish which looks amazing. This was an unbelievable transformation and are thrilled to have Michael and David successfully complete this project. We had other hardwood flooring companies look at the floors only to tell us they would need to sand and restain everyting for a very expensive cost.I would highly recommend Summers to handle all your hardwood flooring needs.
