After breaking a hinge on my cabinet, calling all over town and extensive online searching, I called Tom, owner of Sunriver Woodworking. Although busy, he said to stop by & he’d see what he could do. When I stopped in, and after inspecting it, he found a matching hinge for me. When I asked what I owed, I was told, “No charge” - that he wanted to build good work relationships. I highly recommend this shop for all cabinet needs.

I was put in touch with Sunriver Woodworking at the suggestion of the folks at Parr Lumber/Bend OR. My need was simple: Replace static shelving with pull out drawers to pre-existing cabinetry that was about 8 years old. In one instance, pantry cabs were deep and, while the shelves were able to be moved up and down, the depth presented a problem in being able to view things. The other need was in pot/pan shelving that, in its present state, required me to get on my knees to get anything out. I have a lot of cast iron cookware and that wasn’t fun.I worked with Tom to design and install pull-outs in these spaces. The result was his really great problem solving and solution to our stated needs. While we had a longer waiting time than usual because of COVID -related distribution and production issues, when we got rolling, we got ‘er done. One measurement was off, but Tom game back the next day with it all fixed, no addl charge.Cost for all was very reasonable and I will use them again if the need arises!The finished product is beautiful. The wood Tom chose is perfect, the hardware is smooth-running and unique in its ability to be moved up and down (suggested by Tom). We completely changed around our pantry and cookware with the new set up and it’s the best end-result we could want, even with the delays.Thanks to Parr Lumber for suggesting us to Sunriver Woodworking, and thanks to Tom and his crew for his excellent customer service, problem solving, top-notch production and installation.Highly recommend!

I have utilized Sunriver Woodworking several times over the years.I had Tom and his staff design, build and install custom cabinets in a new construction vacation home we built several years ago. Even though it was a smaller home, we still wanted high quality cabinets instead of pre-made cabinets.We were not disappointed. Tom and his crew designed, built and installed beautiful stained oak cabinets throughout the home. I couldnt be happier.When my wife and I moved back to the PNW from CA we purchased an older home that needed some freshening. We werent ready at the time to tear out the whole kitchen and start from scratch and Tom recommended replacing the cabinet doors and drawers until we were ready for a full upgrade. We had the existing boxes painted and Sunriver built and installed new doors, drawers and hardware.Toms 40 years of experience certainly shows in the quality of his work.

We had Tom install some built in cabinets in our bonus room. They look fantastic and the quality of wood was better than I expected. His building and installing the cabinets was timely and he answered my questions during the process. Tom is a professional and honest guy, his pricing was very reasonable for the quality he offers. I highly recommend him and will use him for future projects. Oh, and when he was done, he cleaned up and you would never know he was there.

What my husband and I appreciated about Sunriver Woodworking was the creativity that Tom manifested into a profound design for a difficult situation in our home. Our log home is built in the round. All of the angles had to be individually designed and Tom was able to create the perfect solution for each area that needed cabinets and bookshelves. Imagine designing a library built in the round. Tom did it and it is spectacular. We highly recommend Sunriver Woodworking for the situations that call for the wild imagination of a genius to create solutions for out of the ordinary projects.
